Geocache hide has been destroyed by bulldozers - all gone, including hiding spot and the tree it was named for.

After lunch at the local pub, we thought why not go grab a local cache - it was unnecessary bush bash to get to GZ but once there it was soon found. A session at the Erica pub followed on our annual boys trip away. tftc
Found without too much difficulty even not knowing what an exocarpus was. Now I do. Thanks...
Staying in the nearby Rawson camp and decided it wouldn't be right to leave one that was so close. Bit of a trek through the woods but easily found. Many thanks and greetings from UK. Favourite point for the spot.
Tftc. Great spot. Marked "Happy Jack Track" is no more, but knowing my Cherry Ballards made it an easy find. Noted a very old wooden foot bridge higher up so Jack must've wandered this way in the past indeed.
After visiting Walhalla for the afternoon it was time to head home to Ballarat so i wanted to grab the only cache here in town. The description described access via a disused mountain bike trail and you certainly weren't wrong there! Luckily the trail was marked on my gps map as in a couple of places it was almost non-existent now! But no worries, i was wearing my best hiking boots today ( see pic)! I did manage to find the GZ and quickly located the cache too. Glad to give this lonely one some attention after all these months. A great spot here and i also saw my first pink hyacinth orchid ever along the track so pretty happy with that too!

I think we took the hard way for this one as we had to go a bit off track which was not a great track to start with. I leech later (aaaggghhhhh) we found the treasure, got it logged and out again. Tyftc
Lovely forest for a stroll through. Track gets pretty overgrown at the end but just push through and it's fine.
Very fun. Coordinates are accurate and the tree is a great clue. Left a trackable.

The geo family had decided on a destination for a camping trip away for a few days and Seninis Campground was the destination. Some of these places we had never seen before so we were quite excited about exploring the area. The geo vehicle was packed full and we were off to enjoy some days off work and school. I was wanting to take the geo kiddies to this one but there was just no way. Not easy to get to at all but once spotted I knew what direction to take. Cache was a little tricky to find, tucked away. Signed and replaced as found.
**Thanks for placing this trad cache LemurMan1**
**Cache container and log in good order**
**Took nothing, Left nothing**

On the way back down to what passes as civilisation after a fun night camping to celebrate Day1976's 40th I made a few stops for smileys. As you do.
Choosing the best way through the scrub to GZ was the trickiest part of this stop, but as soon as I got close, I knew what I was aiming for. The cache was in hand nice and quickly.
Nice work, LemurMan1.

Still making my way home after a good weekend in Walhalla. A quick run through the bushes down the hill soon had the cache in hand. Grabbed the Piggy Trackable.
**Thanks to LemurMan1 for the cache. TNLN**

Once we were back in phone range after a visit to Walhalla, we decided to find a cache to drop a long overdue trackable. Took a fair bit of bushbashing to get to the spot but once we were there it was an easy spot!
Thanks!
Thanks!
I hope this trackable will be as happy as a pig in mud off this sloppy dirt bike track. I wasn't able to get there but it would be PERFECT for this trackable's goal if someone could get it to GC157V5 Here Piggy Piggy
Circled around this one for ages. Glad its a lovely day and a good one for some mountain hiking. Should have trusted my instincts and gone to the obvious place first. Tftc.
Up in the area doing a bit of Mountain Bike riding. Everywhere was wet and slippery including this cache. TFTC
Setting off from Erica today we decided to quickly branch off into Rawson to attempt a couple of caches. This was the first cache we successfully found today.

Amusing finding the cache not under the Exocarpus tree, but under the host tree that it killed! Thanks for the find
Our first in some time.
We are up here staying in our new caravan for a few days.
Dry weather so not a difficult scramble to GZ.
Thanks for the cache.

Went down the access track but then led to a very overgrown area. So will look another day
First cache in Rawson, went down the 4wd access track which then put us on a very overgrown track. Due to the rain, it was slippery everywhere so i called it as the kids were ready for lunch before heading to walhalla. Will collect another time.
Sent RockMaster to get this one, jumping jacks were out in force. Was a little tricky to find, but he did. Top job
Sorry for the late logs. Came across the bike trail which took us to the GZ.
Thanks LemurMan1

I did read the previous logs, but thought I had found the easy way to this cache when I walked down a 4wd type track about 100m past where I needed to go bush. It headed me in the right direction until I came to a T where the trail went right but a access track went left. Took the access track and although it started off ok I was bush bashing through it within 30-40 meters or so. I soon realised I had to go up and go bush as the access track was taking me away from GZ. Headed up, thankfully good mobile coverage meant I was able to get close to GZ. Even had enough cellular to look up the cache name to help narrow my search area.
Thanks so much for the bush bash, it reminds us that we are alive!! Only ended up with 1 leech which I thought was pretty good given the damp undergrowth. TFTC

Took some time to find the MB track. I Wonder what s MB looked like then. Very rough if you bush bash. All in good order.
A long weekend off and so many caches to find.
On a road trip, finding some cache with D@GEO.
It start to get a bit over grow, I guess the BMX riders don't use this track anymore.
Pickup 'Red Bell Travel Bug #32'
Thanks for the hide LemurMan1

We're camping at Rawson is our little reborn caravan and sight seeing and caching in the area.
This was number 1 of 4 for the day.
We went for a bit of a walk this morning.
After looking around we eventually found the disused mountain bike trail, and after that it was plain sailing.
The cache was nice and dry, and in good condition after last night's rain.
Thanks for placing this cache LemurMan1

An early morning caching run before some work meetings in the area. The trickiest bit with this one was finding somewhere to park but once that was sorted (and after a wrong turn) it was a pleasant walk down to the cache. Like others I wanted to ride my bike through here but it's all a bit overgrown now. The GPS did the job and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks for the cache LemurMan1.

After picking upthe cache on the lake, we thought we would collect the second cache in Rawson. Down an old bike trail and at the entrance to the paintball area hides this cache. Nice walk and easy find. TFTC.
Nice little track through the bush. The juniors thought it would've been fun over the old wooden jumps! TFTC!!
On my way to find Exocarpus#1 I met LemurMan1 on his way to catch the bus. Found after a short walk in the bush, not the place when you have shorts on. Thanks LemurMan1 FTC.
Found with ornursie79 after a weekend camping at Moondarra. A perfect day weatherwise and TFTC
A bit tricky with track very overgrown. May be increasingly hard to find. Beware there is wild dog traps in the area.
On our way home from Mt Baw Baw we stopped off at Rawson and come across this unlogged cache. We thought we were on the right track to the cache, but it seemed to disappear. We eventually found a smaller track and arrived at GZ wet and with a few leeches. The log was still empty, so we were pleased to log a ***FTF***. We left a TB and took a TB. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here for a walk in the bush LemurMan1
