### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

Hi there CuriosaCollins,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention. You would have received an automated email from Geocaching HQ recently which explained what needs to be done.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) .
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

It's been a little while since Fleabag- and I have had a short road trip and today was the day since I didn't need to be watching horses run around at the Melbourne Cup. We headed out of the city up to Mt Macedon and surrounds to find a couple of specific caches and then free style some one the way home.
A few people here today rolling their cars back and forth. We had a look around up and down the road but couldn't find anything.
Thanks CuriosaCollins, MysteriousMrX for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Found it! Left a little swap for someone to find! Log is slightly damp but filled it out!
After doing maintenance at Mount Macedon we thought it would be fun to test this one out. I gave up on using the phone it was all over the place with the pouring rain. Took a walk and managed to find it.
Signed the log and hobbled back to the warm car to dry off.
Thanks for the cache placement, we definitely had fun trying it out.

Sims_family Mum, Dad and 4 of our 8 children were heading to Gisborne to pick up some new family pets (Stick Insects) to add to the menagerie that we already have. Afterward we finally got the chance to head over here to first hand witness the optical illusion that has been on our to do list for absolute ages.
The finding of the cache took a little while with the GPS having me a little further up the hill or should I say down the hill
Thank you CuriosaCollins, MysteriousMrX for bringing us here

Searched with georocks101 but sadly we didn't make the find. It was a very wet and cold day so we didn't look as thoroughly as we should've. We also tested out the gravity here and it was great fun. Seems to be a well known spot as there was a lot of cars doing the same thing!
No luck with finding the cache. But tried the gravity and, yep, rolling the wrong way.
Finally after a second attempt I could finally put a smiley here. Picked the worse day to come very foggy cold and wet but I ended up finding it in the end. Thank you! Everything looks to be all in good order

Heading home from an appointment in Richmond, FUF009 who took us down, told us about the hill and made a short detour to take us and show us. (He has been there before.)
Along the way he asked us how we were going along the road - uphill, downhill, straight stretch etc. just to prove the point of Gravity Hill.
Then at Gravity Hill - WOW - When we should be going downhill, we were going uphill backwards - such a weird sensation.
When we were trying out the hill we had a car stop and ask us, with a smile, if we were okay - Yes they knew what we were doing. We then pulled over and located the cache and signed the log. Just after this along came another car and they too done what we had just finished doing. Must say a popular spot for cars to stop in the middle of the road.
When the road was clear we also stood in the middle of the road, facing the paddock and you could feel yourself being pulled up the hill. Verrrry spooky. Is was almost as if the auroa around Hanging Rock was pulling you closer to it.

Found on ground open so have placed back in a more secure place. This rd is awesome. It worked for us. Thanks for bringing us here TFTC
So we turned up at this quietly famous landmark ready to see the magic. Unfortunately between dodging cars and trying to find items that would roll we didn’t have much success. We did however find a cache!

Heading home after a big road trip out east from the big smoke. Needing a bit of a rest I decided to go for a drive up Mt Macedon.
I have read this cache page some time ago but had forgotten about it, seeing the name come up on the GPSr and seeing I was so close I had to go check it out.
Rounding the corner I noticed a ute very oddly going backwards UP the hill.
After a chat with this local I gave it a go.... OMG im rolling up hill..... wow.
But not once, I had to give it a go a couple of more times. This is such a weird sensation and a great cache to grab.

Wowwww so weird! Thanks for placing this here and revealing the urban legend! This was a nice cache to do after an hour wasted on a DNF earlier. A quick find, logged signed and back on road for more bush walking. Tftc

The people were out today on Cup Day for this cache! Being quite intrigued with Gravity Hill months ago, I visited today with my friend and discovered it's magical properties. Even a NSW plated car was testing it, albeit in the wrong direction. The cache was found quick, fun to have here, thanks! Also, note the CO, the trackable here is missing, so please mark as missing.

Today I headed out with biggles1024 to target a couple of night caches and also work on a project cache over at Mt. Macedon.
Having now arrived at Mount Macedon we set about continuing with our project cache and once that was done it was time to find so others in the area before the sunset for the night caches.
I have known about this hill for some time now but I don't think I have ever tried it out, it certainly looks as if the road is going up hill even if it isn't.
We headed over to GZ where the cache was spotted quickly.
Took TB.

**Traditional Cache Find #2248**
I headed out with SteMicMitSar to Mount Macedon to do some more work on a 'project' cache and also to attempt two nearby night caches.
I first became aware of this hill more than forty years ago but never had a chance to come here and explore it. It certainly is a strange illusion but it sure looks like the road is sloping uphill even though for the most part, it is level or very, very close to it.

Lots of thick tall grasses possibly hindering matters. Great location though and loved the mystery effects..
Parked the car, got out and made a quick find. We put the hazard lights on and tested the gravity thing. TNLNSL TFTC

I’ve been to a Gravity Hill, I think in South Australia or NSW several years ago and had fun with the optical illusion. This was similar. The cache was easily found while I enjoyed the view on a crisp Winter’s morning. This was a delightful detour from the main highway while on our regular trip to Bendigo for a LEGO meeting.
Found on a cold and windy day on our way back to Kyneton from a day out to Mount Macedon
Found on our way to Seymour today on an family adventure. Didnt really get a chance to test out of the hill today due to traffic but we did find the cache and thats good enough for me TFTC!
Adter a great day at Hanging Rock geowife in to this .. Took critter left Poker Chip
Picked this one up on the way back from the rock. Quickly tried the gravity effect, but it is quite a busy road, so not for long. Thanks for the cache.
Gosh, there were lots of cars trying the roll just in the time we were parked - funny to watch
Thank you for the cache, we enjoyed this

I have been wanting to come to this place for so long and today I had my chance. We have spent the day at Hanging Rock with friends and have spent most of the day at the top exploring. At 5:30 we pretty much got kicked out by the park rangers. So next on our list was Gravity Hill. There was no one here when we pulled up and I wondered if we were in the right spot. First we tryed the water bottle which was cool but the car in neutral was the best. The kids and the wife loved it. Oh and I found the cache too. A fav point for the fun.
Heading to Camel's Hump for the day and was heading past this cache, so I stopped for a look. An easy find, though slightly disconcerted by the cattle watching me from the other side of the fence. TFTC!
I was up on Mt Macedon heading up to the Camel's Hump. It was quite warm and as I was making the climb, I detoured to find this cache.

Came here after a day at Hanging Rock with relatives from overseas. Whilst they were busy watching bottles roll ‘up’ the road I found the cache. Perfect place for a cache! Thank you. No bottles to trash out @ GZ.
After spending the morning/afternoon at hanging rock and seeing this cache on a hill called Gravity Hill. Myself and our interstate vistors had fun going up and the hill a few times. Thanks for placing the cache at this awesome spot.

I remember visiting here as a kid and being in awe, but not really understanding why. In the Macedon Region today it was time to bring my own kids and confuse and bewilder them too. Such a cool cool phenomenon! Anti-gravity hill indeed. Whilst were we caching and rolling uphill, lots of other cars were testing their car's rolling skill also. So fun! TFTC
Now this is certainly an interesting place.
Noticed this online and had to check it out. As soon as I told my wife, it was booked in. We tried using a bottle, and tipping the water but I don't think we were in the correct spot and too many cars using the road.
However after watch 2 other cars with hazard lights on, engine off and laughing rolling uphill towards us, we changed placed.
Jumped in the car, and with it in neutral and while rolling up hill, 2 of the kids jumped out of the car ran uphill and filmed it.
A very interesting phenomenon and certainly a favourite for bringing us here.

Having read about this recently, it was too tempting not to go and check it out on our way back to Melbourne from Bendigo this afternoon.
It really is hard to believe. While I was signing the cache, a card left by another cacher fluttered out and into the cow paddock.
I had to scramble under the barbed wire to get it and return it to the cache.
Then a car came along slowly, rolled up hill, and quickly left.
I wonder how often this happens?
Then I turned around and we too rolled uphill, then left and returned to the freeway.
The cache was in good condition, although the parasitic munzee is still there.

I was in the area and told the kids about this location , so we came over on the way home . Talk about busy. !
There were about 10 cars all parked along the road and people everywhere.
It all added to the entertainment.
People rolling everything from cars, bottles of water, balls and rolls of duct tape down the road. Lol.
While we watched the antics on the road, 2 of the kids playing nearby yelled out "hey Dad, I just found a cache "!
That was easy.

Welfare checks shows all is well although a Munzee appears to be hitching a ride on this cache.
It was stolen or trashed. Not such a great spot to put it because tourists stop pretty much right over the geocach. A good spot to put it would be up the road a bit were there is lots of blackberry plants.
*Possibly* muggled. Will check by end of March 2017 and confirm it is back in place. CC

The geo wife and I were geo kiddie free so we had planned a trip up to the Macedon Ranges and Hepburn Springs areas. We left after packing a few supplies and were on the road early. Stamped and replaced as found.

Wow! On holiday from England visiting my family in Melbourne so we just had to come to the famous rocks nearby. We were with family friends and I wanted to introduce them to caching...
