With the GPS swinging from tree to tree, I couldn't find it in any of them.
Thanks for the fun Na'wal

And here we are at the end of Pat's story. At GZ the sun was helping as it was hitting the cache and showing us where to find the guardian. Thanks for an enjoyable walk and an entertaining story
With nothing important to be done today, I decided to come out for a stroll and to find the caches scattered around this lake. A lovely place for a walk or a ride. I really enjoyed my walk here in an area of Lara I would not otherwise have visited.
Thanks
Thanks
This story made for great entertainment as OzHockeyChick, beckNmonts and Geoturtle37 and I walked around the "just" lake. There was some water, but certainly not a lot. We took the pleasant stroll and were lucky enough to pick up all the caches as well as a couple on the side streets. There were a few muggles around but they had no interest in what we were up to.

Had a bit of time to kill before high tide at Hovells Creek, so Papi4506, Geoturtle37, beckNmonts and I took the opportunity to take a lovely stroll around the lake. Thanks for the entertaining story, Na'wal

Today, we were plagued with bad luck between high tides. So we decided that this series would be a good one. How much bad luck could we have hinting crocodiles? Thanks so much for placing this series Na'wal, very entertaining!
A little further on the trail and I was soon surrounding GZ.
Well thought it was but I was around the wrong structure.
When I did finally head in the right direction I was soon signing the log.

TFTC Na'wal and your continued maintenance. Lake is looking a little dry at this time of year. Good for us to be on familiar ground again. A short search, and multiple approach angles soon had us on to the right spot, and eyes on target. TNLN
Instant find! Just had to wait for a couple of muggles and their dogs to pass by. My own dog is getting used to our walks involving a lot more stop starting now that I’m caching more. Such a perfect afternoon! Hoping Reggie and I can find a dozen or so before night. This is number 1. I’ve had a bad run of DNF recently so trying to turn that around now. This is such a pretty place. Tftc!
Must have have been half asleep when we looked for this lovely coloured container with its very impressive small guardian about 4 years ago!! Nice area with some muggles enjoying their walking today this am.

We were fortunate with this cache as one of us approached from the right angle and saw the container almost immediately. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Na'wal for the cache.
This was a great walk around the lake with the kids and the dog. Enjoyed the story. Thanks
This bright little fella stood out and was quickly signed and returned as found

Wanted to take geodogs out for a walk this morning so checked the map and a walk around the Lara Lake with a few geos seemed like the ideal spot. With rain on the horizon and excited pups, headed straight to this one.
Easy find. Indie cooled down laying in the grass while log was signed.

A lucky break for me here as I spotted it as I approached GZ. Glad I didn't have to stay out in the heat for too long TFTC Na'wal
Unfortunately another DNF for us as regards this cache - just could not see anything hanging today!! Are we headed for our 3rd did not find now???
TFTC Na'wal that we may find some time in the future?

Got my caches confused and wrote on the wrong one. Suss to be a wheelchair reaching in there.
A little damp after all the rain but managed not to get wet socks. Lovely quiet spot.
Thanks to Na'wal and *clear skies* from TeamAstro. Cache the planet!
Thanks for the cache, Na'wal. I parked the car, looked around, I was alone, walked straight to the cache, signed log, re-assembled cache, looked around, I was alone, walked back to the car and drove away. The cache is in good condition. There is still lots of space in the log. It's safe and dry. TN LN.
Found in the dark on my way home from the nearby event. Just a slight detour for one more smiley. I always feel a little uneasy caching in the dark on my own, so I was thankful for a fairly easy find. TFTC!
Another cute find...soggy boots and a decoy nut later. I think the geese are laughing at us! TFTC
Happy world geocaching day! Nice quick find on our way to eat beef! Another find by the McPhail family
Logged last but started first for our lap of the lake on a pleasant Sunday morn. Thanks for the caches Na'wal
I set out today to try and achieve 100 caches in a day. This was find #9. Have a favourite point - it was indeed a tasty cache series. Thanks heaps, Na'wal!
Second last cache in the series and more muggles slowing my search. I walked to GZ and waited for dog walking muggles to pass. While waiting I spotted the cache which meant a quick grab and sign once the coast was clear. TFTC
Decided to spend a lazy Easter Sunday, caching with posho6 and Arkbell80. We brought the kids over to Lara for a walk around a couple of the lakes. Seventh find for the day.
Thanks Na'wal for the cache!!!

Out to do this series today. A nice lovely walk around a very beautiful lake. A place I had never been before. A lovely walk was accompanied by a lovely story. Thanks na'wal for the effort involved.
searched for a little bit with this one as it eluded me but after a couple of minutes I spotted it in the geo-wife's tree. Poor pat.
Thank you for the lovely stroll around the lake with an interesting story. Luckily we didn't see the croc. A favourite point here for the whole series. Thanks again na'wal.
Log signed and replaced.

In Lara today for an appointment so I decided to go for a walk around this lovely lake/wetlands area before heading home. Cute little final container. Giving a fav here for the lovely series and walk. I'll be back to get the one I missed eventually! Thanks
Out for some Geokid training with MaggieDot today. We had a little trouble with the GPS here so had to look through a few spots before we found it. Nice area for a walk. TFTC.

Out today trying to get this series plus a few extras with Bici78. I had 7 finds, no DNFs, and some really cool caches were found. Thanks Na'wal for putting together this fun series. There were a few laughs, some nice hides and some smiles. Good job with the entire series.
This was our first find of the day as we started from the end. Had a brief search before the cool cache was in hand. TFTC Na'wal, thanks for this neat cache and the series. Well done. TN LN SL.

We were able to dodge the mandibles of death here and sign the log, wondering how long it took to digest that soccer ball... TFTC and the fun afternoon stroll.
It appears Pat wasn't really hungry as he has just left the poor crocodile on the ground. So the Tritons to rescue and all is good once again.
Thanks Na'wal for this little bugger.

Well thats poor old Pat done and dusted. I enjoyed this mini series. I walk this lake to enjoy the birds so thank you for giving me an other reason to wander around it.
Quite an easy find with spot on co-ords. Thanks to Na'wal for the hunt and the series. A favourite point from me for the series.
Find #461 and the last one for the day. We enjoyed a lovely walk around, even if it was a bit brisk! Thanks for the series so far still got the first one to find.
Found at 11.15am continuing my around the lake walk, on a cool and cloudy day.
A neat hide
Thanks

Getting closer and closer i saw something i thought I'd never see. A crocodile staring at me. It was then I realised that Pat was no more, that greedy crocodile had him for tea.
