Today, I had organised with Freddo and gridge98 to ride the Northern Expressway bikeway to complete the *Nexy Challenge* series geocaches. We rode the full distance, and then in the afternoon, jesswrigley and I visited the south-eastern end of Cleland Conservation Park and took a few walks around the area. The day began cold spitting a little, but towards the afternoon, it turned out to become quite warm and not too hot; almost the perfect day to be outside and hiking.
Freddo, gridge98 and I had set off early to complete this series. Both gridge98 and I had yet to find these geocaches, and Freddo had recently acquired these and was in the process of performing maintenance for a few that had accumulated DNFs. We rode past here, stopped, and managed to find this cache reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Burton's for the cache placement, and equipe de cinq for its ongoing maintenance.

Today I headed out with the godfather (Freddo) and Davidwazza to complete the next challenge trail and start the next big thing. A nice ride along the trail for the whole 50km as we went from Gawler to Port Adelaide. A great day out with over 40 finds.,
Thanks for the cache

Why is it that the Northern Expressway is “Nexy”, but the Southern Expressway is just “Southern Expressway”?
TFTC and series.

Suspect this one is gone. Found rocks and hole near post where it would go but no cache.
Owl dropped Raven at her practice and decided to fill her afternoon with as many caches as possible. Then spent over an hour looking for caches with bad coordinates, some of which were also missing. fortunately the afternoon got better and there were no more DNFs. This one had a cache guardian, but was signed anyway. will take Owl years to finish the series at this speed, but knock another one off!
After just taking the short walk to #44 in this series i decided to leave this one to last when on my way back to my Geo-Mobile. Another slick find and sign at 14:03 on Sat 23 Nov 2019.

Been planning another Friday afternoon for ages. Finally decided to do it today so got the bike loaded in the Ute last night.
Thinking I could have picked a better day as it was so windy this afternoon. Luckily though the rain held off so it was just wind to contend with.
Had a makeshift lunch with the geohusband and hound at work and then headed out here to try and get 20’pr so caches.
Had a few dnfs and a few manly logs but the rest were all found easily in the obvious spots.
Some nice history panels to read.
The big ride back to the Ute almost finished me off but made it before the heavens opened.
Stopped for Scooby snacks on the way home. Great caching afternoon will plan another trip to hopefully collect the rest.

Day 227 - Today we visited Adelaide zoo to see the pandas as that was the purpose of staying in Gawler so after returning from a great day at the zoo this was our one stop for the day to collect our daily smiley.
This was a nice quick find and a great spot to get the daily today.
Thanks Burton's for showing us the area.

It was time to pick up a couple more caches in the Mallala district before heading out through Gawler and on to our next camping destination, with ilook4geo. The caches on the list were all quite quickly found and paperwork duties were soon done at each site, before we moved on.
Thank you to Burton's for adding to our caching fun while we travel around SA.

While still in the Mallala area, did some more caching along with goingplaces2. Also picked up some around Gawler and further on. Caching is a great way to tour the country. Found this one easily. TFTC.
first and only Nexy cache i have found. And it was a drive by, i thought this was supposed to be a bike trail. replaced the log book as it was full
After visiting Gawler over several years at my sisters place, it was about time that we got out and rode the Nexy. Started at the Gawler end, just sat on the bikes and the heavens opened up, by the time we got onto the Nexy it had stopped and the sun was out. I didn't know that we had shifted to Melbourne so quickly. Not to be deterred on we went to our designated turn around point, the second of the puzzle Nexy caches. Had to replace a couple of logs and containers. Great day TFTC equipe de cinq
Thank you Burton's for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Tftc! First walk by was hard with the little boy across the road looking over the fence haha but we got it
Odd squashed strange coloring container. Thought it was wet.. But no, dry as a bone and well hidden. TYFTC SLTNLN
For quite some time now i have being wanting to do this group of caches. Today is a beautiful 26 degrees, and that was all the motivation i needed. So i packed my gear, jumped on my bike and caught a train out to Gawler.

The morning started in reverse. Gawler to Nexy Challenge #13. All finds were made with #Bones5 on bikes (no lycra in sight). The morning had us riding into the wind for the journey ahead. Was great to have a day out biking not hiking!!! Thanks.
Strolling the bikeway today to collect a handful of NEXY caches that I had so far missed
A short wait for a few cyclists to pass,
and voila ..
.. a cache in paw

The first of the nexe challenge I have found. Look forward to finding the rest. Thank you.
Today was a special day, with the aim to get JJ52's 3000th find. We set off early in the morning with a bit of a plan and hoped to get as many of Gawler's caches as we could. At the end of the day I had 32 finds and 2 DNF's, experienced my 4th visit to Gawler Fort Knox and found an old (original) MIA cache that had long ago been replaced!
We made a quick find here! TFTC Burton's

Ismartis and I headed to Gawler today, somewhere I had not done any caching and I was on my way to number 3000 so it was a good opportunity to see some different country and earmark a special cache for my milestone. We set off with a rough plan of the caches we would try and find and ended up having a really good day with 34 finds and 2 DNF's for me. [^]
We were driving past so decided to stop and get these ones on the side of the road. One of my geocaching goals now is to get the rest of the Nexy Challenge caches on my bike. I reckon it would be a lovely ride on a nice day.
Thanks for the cache Burton's.

Now I'm on the path, I'm rolling along nicely. Third find for the series for me. Thank you.
Nice ride along this bike trail only had a couple of problems due to water logged or missing but so far a nice collection of caches.
A nice and quick find on the way to Kapunda for a wedding.
