It is not unusual for me to struggle with multi caches and this was no exception. While I was confident about some answers, there were others I wasn't so sure about so I can to tweak some numbers before I could get some sensible coordinates. Once I managed that, I was able to quickly find the treasure.
Solved a wee while ago. Was out with the kids today trying to solve another multi nearby and after getting the final for that one we went and looked for this one. The container is very well hidden, muggles will never find it. Nice and dry in its hiding place. All three of us signed it.
Today I'm heading up to Palmerston North and Feilding on a bit of a numbers run to help boost my qualification efforts for the Bulk Finding Elective of GC30AD8 DGSc Challenge. Over the last few months there have been many new caches published up that way, so I'm hopeful of being able to find 50+ today.Having got my day off to a flying start with the Lockwood Power Trail, I thought I'd then head off to my anticipated furthest point in order to start caching back towards home. By now I was in Feilding, and starting to find some of the recently placed caches.. That also gave me a chance to have yet another crack at this one, a cache I have visited twice before.I came, I searched, and yet again I failed to find so I left the scene and carried on with my day. But then by chance I bumped into my mate Yeti, who had also been here before without luck so suggested we both come back and check again. His solved co-ords were different from mine, so we started to check our work which brought us right next to where my co-ords had it. I mentioned this to him, and to my surprise he looked at where I was pointing, and delved deeper than I had before, and found the cache! I was annoyed with myself, but equally happy that I could get rid of the blue frown on my map. No issues to report, so everything was placed back as found once I'd added my name to the log. I can't add a slogan to my log as the billboard doesn't appear to be there any more? If I can dig it out, I'll add the photo I took of it when I first visited this location back in Sept 2021 Thank you for setting this one up
Having spent the beginning of the weekend in Wanganui, it was time to make my way back home to Wellington. I chose to go the long way, via a few caches that I wanted to get, and a few that I had previously missed, and a few that were just there. I had visited this site once before, and calculated some coordinates, and failed to find a cache. However, I wasn't 100% sure about my numbers so I had this one flagged to revisit. Today I caught up with TwigNZ as he made his way through Feilding and he had a similar experience here so we decided to join forces for another go. Turns out I had lost the ability to count last time, so my numbers were wrong. But the numbers TwigNZ had were right, and the cache was found exactly where it was. Oh, and there were three billboards out the front of the church, I 'think' the one required said: "COME HOME FOR CHRISTMAS"---Thanks to Swaybars69 for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.
[Took us a while! Never did find the answer to the 3rd question but process of elimination w/ the check sum was the winner! TFTC ]

Stopped by here again today, but there was a wedding going on with tons of people milling around, so couldn't really have a fair crack at it...

[Noticed this multi nearby and decided to give it a go - some of the questions slightly confused us but by a process of elimination, we managed to figure out the final co-ords. Loved the models of the parish churches - pretty awesome! The cache was located easily after a couple of options had been explored. Thank you for your efforts in setting up this multi.]

[Staying nearby tonight and it was still early enough to come and find this cache so close by, despite discovering a number of DNF logs. After wandering around trying to come up with some numbers we didn't quite meet the checksum. Somehow, when I put in my numbers and then changed it for the only one I wasn't sure of so the checksum matched and that led me to pretty much the same place so I just looked around in the failing light and in the end found the right hidey hole. Felt quite chuffed with myself for some reason. GAR had already left the area thinking it was a lost cause.] The billboard only has the word "Easter" on it at the moment.
Having had a brilliant day yesterday ushering in Daylight Saving for this year, I had today off work to be able to attend an event in Palmy and also to go out and find a reasonable number of caches to fulfill my personal goal of finding X caches every single month. I've pretty much cached out my immediate locale so I'm having to go further and further afield to find caches, so found myself in Feilding for a few hours.
I don't normally make a point to doing Multis as they are my least favourite type of cache, but this one looked like it should be straightforward. I walked around the church twice to get the info I needed, apart from 1 question where I used the checksum to reverse engineer an answer.
Unfortunately, on searching my calculated GZ nearby I found an obvious location for a hide, but no cache. I will have to confirm I was looking in the right place, but if I was then I think it has gone

Visited here on Boxing Day with my Dad who is interested in old Anglican churches... It was very peaceful here today.
And we sat and contemplated the deep questions of life the universe and the correct answers for B and E!
Got a likely set of coordinates and made use of another seat for contemplation as I retrieved signed and returned the log.

Tftc. My father was a minister and each week would write a new text on the billboard. This one says "Welcome Haere Mai".
[On our way through Fielding to Wellington. Enjoyed looking round the outside of the church, particularly at the different churches in the parish. Cache was all safe and sound. Thanks]

Solved this multi sometime ago but think cache was missing. A quick find today at this beautiful church. Tftc.
Mr Dog and I enjoyed the wander around this wonderful old building on a windy afternoon.
Numbers soon worked out and with a bit of poking around the container found and log signed.

Love this stately old church, that also shows clearly that it is still a vibrant centre of community life and worship! We had the whole place to ourselves on a chilly Sunday afternoon and enjoyed wandering around to find the required information. The cache was a quick find and all was well inside. TFTC .
Wow, over twelve months between finds, despite being in the middle of town. Wow. Didn't really need this today but a lonely cache is a lonely cache, and I just couldn't wait until tomorrow. TFTC
It was roundabout the time that we stopped to look for this that the heavens opened. Oh well, we don't melt so off we wandered around this beautiful church. Soon found the info we were after and a nice quick find of the cache. Thanks for the multi
Solved the multi in summer but couldn’t find! Great to be able to turn this into a smiley. Many thanks for the cache, great fun.
Solved this multi back in April with 2wombles, but could not find it. In Feilding today for a meeting, then a park and grab find. Thanks Swaybars69 for this multi cache.
Our grandson had asked if we could go out caching together this afternoon, so we decided to show him a few multis around town. Well bundled up against the cold wind we wandered around the grounds of St Johns church gathering the required information. Calculated the final GZ, found the cache then headed back home for a lovely family dinner. Thanks.
I replaced this cache a couple of days ago. It has a rock in front of it to make it harder for muggles to find. I think it became public knowledge cache was there, so it will be interesting to see it if lasts in this spot. You need to use your geosense to guess where a small jar is going to fit, then you should find it quickly in the end.
In Feilding with 2wombles to find some caches. No luck here and have been told that we were looking in
the right place.
the right place.
Found it Thanks, had one question stuffing me up for a while. The sign says some thing about the Christmas market
Collected the information then onto the final. A quick find. All in order. TFTC

This must have being one of the most frustrating multi caches that I have done in Fielding, mainly because it took multiple visit until I was able to get something that made sense.
I started this one over a month ago and found some of the answers didnt quite make sense so I decided that I would come back again and double check my answers, and then a third time finally getting something to make sense.
Decided to put the answer away in my list of solved caches and decide that I would leave it for a time that I needed a cache, today was the day for picking up this cache as the weather was following me around all the places that I travelled to today. I started work early this morning at Kapiti and it started raining and as I headed north the weather followed me up as I moved north so did the rain, I think that the clouds must have parked themselves on top off my car.
Finally arriving at Feilding after finishing a meeting at a local store it was time to go and get my cache for the day as it was time to just bite the bullet and go and get the cache. Arriving at the final GZ the weather was still not behaving itself it was still raining so I decided that it was time to go and get this cache. The walk over to GZ didnt take too long and then at GZ I was soon able to spot the clever hiding spot for the cache, retrieved the cache, signed and replaced back as found. Thanks for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (12354)

Called here this afternoon while caching around Feilding after the morning's "Winter Warmer" event. A bit of guesswork was needed to interpret one of the questions which has ambiguous wording but otherwise no problems and the cache was a quick find. The wording on the sign today is the same as for the previous log. Signed log, TFTC
Took two visits to get the correct information and easily found on the 3rd visit once solved.
Sign reads: Anyone who walks with God will always get to their destination.

This one was quite educational. We stopped and talked to one of the church officials while wandering around picking up the clues. The concrete model churches were very impressive and it turned out the gentleman who built them was gardening on the grounds not far away so we also went over and had a natter with him too. Quite a bit of history here.
We then went away and incorrectly pieced together our answers and shot off to the wrong place on the far side of the railway lines. Later in the day, once we found our mistake, we headed off to the correct location, ironically it was right where we were talking to the gent earlier in the day, if we had but raised our glance we would have seen it as it was not hard to spot.
Cheers.

Today I have team up with Scoria and our plan for the day is to complete some Muti caches and solve some Mystery caches in Fielding
A lot of positive things a would to say about the multi cache here but that would been giving away to many clues
The first visit of the day we got some of the clues wrong and took us to what I thought was a very unlikely place for the cache to be.
We came back later in the day redid the questions found our mistakes enter the new numbers and got a far better location for the cache
This a great multi to solve

[Thanks for the multi. Had to re visit questions and answers to make it all add up but got there in the end and quick find of the cache] this church is prayer conditioned
[Thanks for the multi set in the nice church grounds.] Come for the Pokemon. Stay for Jesus.
This is a lovely church I did the questions the other day but was interupted by a funeral getting set up and people starting to look at me strange so decided I would complete the task today TFTMC
We spent some time working on solving the multi- doing several laps of the church before our reading comprehension kicked in and we realised out mistake. TFTC.
We wandered around the church to find all the information. The little churches were cute. TFTC
Our first geo cache find. Awesome fun.

Third time of trying this one, still cannot make the checksum correct. Was always one off, so had to change the final coordinates by 1...trial and error... and one of these led to the find. Has one of the counts changed maybe? Maybe not... very possible its just me. TFTC.
[#6871. We came by Feilding this Saturday evening after dinner to seek out the final. We had visited St Johns Historic Church a fortnight ago and gathered all the information for the cache coordinates. Enjoyed reading the history and the stroll around. Thought we would save the final find until today in order to contribute to a record attempt to better our previous “most finds in a day”. Final GZ was all quiet when we visited. A quick find. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. (#144 of 144 @ 21:25)

This is our Fourth day of caching in the area, just so many caches to find so will have to make another trip back at some stage, but for today lets see how many we can eliminate.
11.50am - This caused a few problems with the time of the day, so second visit and able to get right answers and location only to be muggled by the church minister but no problem he knew all about the cache. SLTFTC

My younger brother had a four-day table tennis tournament in Palmerston North. Rather than sit around and watch paint dry, I decided to take a caching tour of the Manawatu... Joined by Gap (of Fap and Gap).
Our last day of caching in the Manawatu... We've had such a great time visiting some heavy cache-populated trails. Now we need to find some specific caches for our current license challenge... This one was definitely on our target list.
Church was in session this morning, and there seemed to be much hymn singing and organ music. We wandered around the church gathering up answers. Our initial set of coordinates pointed a short distance away. We headed to the final but quickly realised we'd made an error. Returning to the church, we re worked our numbers and made a projection. This time, we had a much better looking ground zone. We got muggled by the Minister... Awkward! TFTC.

This being an unexpectedly beautiful day we decided to head to friendly Feilding to grab the two multis I needed to earn the multi badge.
We ended up circling this church twice to get all the required info, one point we guessed (correctly) early on, another I noticed and came back to and another was almost missed... and of course there was the obligatory maths error on another.
The final left me with an 'it's either there or there' but I spotted the likely hide within a couple of steps - a very good place for it. JrGun9 had fun examining the contents while we signed the log.
All in all this was a good multi, slightly tougher than most but still fairly quick.

An enjoyable stroll around St Johns gathering all the info, a friendly neighbour wandered over and noticed our interest in the church, had a chat about the lovely stained glass windows. Interesting to learn that this church was one of the early designs by Frederick de Jersey Clere. Many thanks for the historic multi, TFTC.
Sat on a nice concete seat in the shade to contemplate this multi. We couldn't quite make the checksum add up. But we figured the general location of GZ and decided we would go look there. Imagine our surprise after 15 or 20 minutes searching. Very nice cache found on a glorious day. Tftc. The world needs a stable influence.
I have rehidden the cache and put a rock in front of it. It needs to be hidden well or cache will be muggled by passers by. The cover people were putting in was being blown away I think. Re-hide well please cachers.
I have removed the cache temporarily as it keeps being obvious where it is. I might need to size down or experiment with more camo. The wind must blow the cover away. It will be back soon.
[Tried for a FTF on the nearby Green Spine cache but couldn't read the tag so this was a satisfactory consolation multi-cache. Took a few circuits of the church to get all the information, however we tripped-up on 'D' and couldn't get the checksum to match. Realised our mistake and soon has the cache in hand.
The Dean (?) approached us as we were leaving and mentioned that the cache itself had been muggled recently and was found in one of the gardens - we ensured that it was well hidden as the colour of the container does make it easy to spot otherwise.]

I had to lap the church about 3 times to get my answers and even then they didn't add up to the checksum ......hmmm.....I tweaked the numbers a little to 'make them fit' and came up with a likely location and found the cache in the first place I looked .
I wouldn't say I found this multi straight forward (I'm blaming the cold weather and the grumble grumble of my tummy) but I'm glad I persevered to claim the smilie....and the sightseer souvenir as part of the 7 souvenirs of August.
I managed to take a photo of a rainbow as I puzzled over the questions. Check it out.

[Made this a lot harder than it should have been by scribbling down the notes without really reading them properly. As a result we got very confused over questions C & D.(where it's slightly mis-written) However, with a bit of juggling around to fit the checksum, we managed to find GZ anyway.

Another dot-day to cross off so another recent Feilding cache was in order. After dismissing Clamber Up, again, due to increasing wind and the start of some rain, yay, it was off to church for the multi. Solved most of the clues and worked out the final where a quick and easy find was made.

[green] Come over with a friend a couple of days ago. Got some unlikely coordinates, and instead of playing with then to work out which one was wrong and fixing it, I ran to the CO. That and my literal mind wouldn't accept some of the questions (Question E by its original wording was not actually answerable). These have since been fixed, but I hadn't noticed. But I know where I went wrong, and as I have another cache to place, I cycled back to Feilding today, parked the bike in some shade at the church, pulled out the cellphone, corrected the incorrect digit then looked at the distance. Zero meters! Zero! Right here! Well, that was a surprise! Collected the trackable in there that Etherlord had asked me to pick up - we are about to climb Mt Taranaki, and that TB wants to visit mountains.
Right. Large cache in my saddlebag. Time to cycle on to its new home and drop it off. Bye!

Today's Billboard read:] If an answer is what you search, we have it here at church.
[A nice stroll down to the church with the family. Looks like an 80th was in full swing in the hall behind the church. A couple of laps of the church gave me most of the info but was stuck on one of them. Made a calculated guess and the resulting coords looked good enough. A quick find in the end.] "If an answer is what you search, we have it here at church." [Kind of fitting really. TFTC]

**FTF** Found at 10.05pm. Thought this might be a bit hard to find at night time after reading through the questions, but decided to give it a go anyway. Yes i was right, but managed to figure out the last number by elimination and using the checksum. One of the other questions had me thinking for a while too but got there eventually. Enjoyed the walk tonight. Nicely hidden. Swapped trackables.
