We headed to this trail today with a couple of totts, hopeful to make some finds despite the wet weather. In Beechworth to finally pick up a bunch of solved puzzles and get some caching done before the Mega in January. Found with Joolay, barb2e and isopeda (Capital Crunchers). We found the container down low and had to replace the log book. Thanks for your hide here Joelisa
Coming back from Beechworth a group of us from Canberra (including Joolay, Kittykatch and isopeda) decided to have a look at this trail of tree climbs. Container found on the ground, log was replaced and signed as Capital Crunchers. Hope this helps to keep this great trail alive. Tftc
Earlier today Barb2e, Kittykatch, Joolay and I went on an expedition to look at these cache. Signed as Capital Crunchers.
We found a few, some where too high - even for our tallest ladder and given the driving rain and wind too dangerous to climb.
This one we found on the ground, replaced the log and stuck it back into a fork.

In Albury for a week and I noted this little series of tree climbs that looked like fun. Made a morning of it in Walla Walla - pretty town. A very easy final tree climb for me today
Thanks Joelisa for entertaining me at this location.

Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch. Took advantage of the fact that this is a bit more accessible at the moment and made the find. TFTC
I didn’t need to worry about the dangers of this tree climb.
It was much easier than anticipated, but then I assume where we found it was not it’s intended spot.
Hopefully with three finds on this one it may be prevented from being archived, but if I were you Joelisa, I’d put it in the right spot and notify the reviewer.
Thanks for the cache though

Found with ILookedThere and Cybergran V.
Having sailed straight past this first one of the series7, we came back for it straight after doing the D1.5 just arround the corner first instead. [:o]
I am guessing we still have no clue what a D4.5/T1 is supposed to look like because... well... although the cache container was in good shape, clearly its altitude was not quite as placed making it the easiest D4.5 I have ever seen.
Rightly or wrongly, we popped the cache and the signed logbook right back where we found it. Not on the ground but not high either.
We then set off to the next cache in the series, hoping to find them getting progressively harder but more importantly...hoping to find them.

Out at Walla Walla chasing the 4.5 tree climb series with Cybergran V on Nav duties, dalerious. on the climbing to stupid heights duties (just because your wearing a superhero T shirt doesn't make the landing any softer) and Team ILooked There on ladder holding and spotting duties.
This one we knew would be easy as per previous logs. It was. Mr ILT took one for the team and was on climbing duties for this one.
Great series Joelisa. Thanks.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
Hi there Cache Owner,
This cache has come to my notice as there is a 'Needs Maintenance' log that that indicates there is some sort of issue with the placement and it needs your attention please.
Check out the Guidelines here: [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable the cache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

I spotted this series when I was browsing around the geocaching website looking for interesting caches in the district and thought I'd come check them out. We need a few of the higher D/T combinations and although I am a little lily-livered, I thought there *may* have been a chance I could get a few of them. This one was easy since I'm fairly sure it is no longer where it was placed originally however the rest of the series were beyond my current abilities. Maybe one day...

We are always on the look out for high T caches, and so having noticed this set of tree climbs we diverted off our intended route so that we could undertake them. We had a lot of fun swinging around in the trees! This one was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero although we suspect it was originally placed a little higher. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe

After an amazing few days at the St Arnaud Mega, it was time to start the long journey home to Sydney with Tardis0061. Of course we would take the opportunity to visit a few additional LGAs as well as add some more numbers to our Vic Sudoku grid.
This series was one of the main targets for our trip and we came prepared with our TOTTS. Didn't get a chance to deploy them at this tree as the cache was easily within reach.

After a thong blow out at the last find, I was now barefoot caching and hoping not to tread on any wriggly sticks! Another quick grab fortunately. Barefoot caching is not ideal. SL and replaced as found. Now to make an unplanned pit stop to change my tread before sneaking back to my eldest's soccer trials! Tftc
Hi Joelisa! Thanks for creating this exciting strip of tree caches, however please note that the caches for #1 and #3 seem to have fallen from their perches.
I have looked at these caches before but were well out of my reach and capabilities. I was made aware that these caches were now accessible. I was heading up this way this morning to pick up geokid#1 so made a slight detour to make the find. Thanks joelisa I have signed the log and replaced safely in the fork of the tree.
Was up in Walla Walla doing some maintenance and investigating the potential to reinstall an archived cache and so thought I would poke along the stock route and have a look at these caches (I had always avoided as I don’t carry the appropriate TOTT and I am not a free climber of trees). Spotted a couple up high in their roosts but this was one of two that were down low and accessible without assistance. Probably needs reinstatement but happy to pick up while available.

The cut&paste bit: Doing a big road trip from Central Coast NSW to St Arnaud Mega. On my phone so may be slow to log with the full story or add pics etc....
With a ladder with me I was hoping to have a go at at least the first 3 of the series, quite an interested set of caches! With #1 I saw a suspicious container on the ground at the foot of the tree, and sure enough the logbook was inside Signed log and had a think about what to do. Trying to pick out where to put the cache back I heard movement at the nearby property and thought I better not hang around. I put the cache in the fork of the tree, and will post a maintenance request when I figure out how to. Thanks for the cache!

We enjoyed a day of caching from Culcairn thru' Morven & Gerogery to Walla Walla & return. It felt as if every DR and TR was covered at some point, so many creative, sneaky or just plain bold hides. Dedicated CO's have placed for geocachers to find or sometimes walk away from in frustration.
We soon found this series beyond the reach of us and our trusty TOTT.
**FEEDBACK TO CO:** From our vantage spot on the ground, we could see that this cache has been smashed, log and contents were nowhere to be found.

Camped at Walla Walls after returning from Tasmania. Out for a few caches today. First for the day, quick find, cache and contents all good, good coordinates. Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC
Had a look at the Tree Climbing caches today. We hoped our TOTT would help but it wasn't tall enough for any of them, some would have been close but still too difficult. We will have to return with a younger fitter helper at some stage to get these ones.
Thought we would like to try out this little T4.5 trail while around the area. Some just jumped out at us, we could see easily others were not visible at all. The extendable ladder was good but was just not long enough all the time. It would have been much better with some younger and fitter people around to climb up higher than we could have. The trees keep growing, and growing so the terrain keeps growing with it. Mmmmm
We decided we would do this one backward with the theory that by the end we would be exhausted and the hard ones would be over. Leaving the easier one till last, this did work to some extent.
This was the final in the series, we had skipped some this time, but will be back to do them at a later time with someone a little younger and fitter than us. This one #1 was not in its spot, the bucket was empty and damaged, we found it in a lower spot. Reported it to the CO. This was another for my Geo Chauffer to climb for me, he is my hero after all, Thanks goes to him for that.
Found the cache, Signed the log, replaced it, then on our way.
Thanks for this series of cache’s Joelisa, Lil Donna

Found on a cache run with phlphotos! Lucky he had the means to get there. Not my kinda thing, so happy to have the help of the more brave. The things we do for these caching challenges.
#2445 picked up on the way to the Parkville event borrowed as 5 metre tott which got me close to where needed to be to reach the cache
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. The cache has a crack in the lid but the log was in a reasonably good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache Joelisa

Came through on our way down south to the Mega event. As our 5m TOTT was in the boot we thought we would stop off and see what we needed for this series. Luckily we could just reach this one, so a quick find was made. After signing our name we replaced as found. Thanks for the cache Joelisa...we will be back at a later date for the rest in this series.
The following TBs came through for the mileage : Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling, Hidden Creatures Geocoin TB.

After a failed mission to come to Walla Walla last week, I found myself with a full day off today to come today. I have been planning to do the ‘4.5 Tree Climb Trail’ for quite some time and collect the pre-solved puzzles located within the town limits. It was full of finds, DNF’s, lunch and conversations with the people I met along the way. I also loved the great locations I visited today. After finishing caching in Walla, I headed north to collect the lone caches around the back roads which lead to lots of backtrack driving. With all this driving I found myself with almost 600kms making it my biggest distant caching day I have ever yet. TB visit on all found caches. On some of the smaller log sheets/books I signed as 5/9 JM. I would like to thank all CO’s for the caches I found, the locations I visited and for the fun I had today.
Today’s totals:
24 Finds (20 Groundspeak and 3 GCA)
3 DNF’s
Now onto the caches I came to do. Like the D rating on this one a quick find here and onto the next one. TFTC

This is definitely a challenging series especially for geo hubby, considering his age (72) and having had both knees replaced. However, he used a combination of geo vehicle and TOTT to achieve the result needed here. Geo wife mainly acted as safety officer and sometimes scribe. All in all we ewere able to retrieve and sign 7 of the 9 caches in this series. That was certainly better than we hoped.
The lid for this cache was broken. log was wet and could not be signed propeerly. It really needs some TLC and maintenance.
Thanks go to Joelisa for the series and we are giving a favourite point for each one.

Out and about with Baby&MrsGopher attempting this challenging series. Brought a picnic and a really long TOTT. Expecting a good day in the shade!
7059 Located by baby&Mrs gopher in company with the SimpsonFamily15 at 1140. After being asked to come along for a drive to log the tree climb caches today was the day. Left The Rock just after 0900 for a drive via Morgan's Lookout. Stopped at gz and the first vehicle went past. Set the gear up and soon had container in hand. SL Tnx Joelisa
Nice way to start the days caching off. After a trip here earlier in the day I decided to come back in daylight and put my best foot forward in finding this series.
Not much out of the ordinary finding this one.
Thanks Joelisa

Drove all the way from the other side of Melbourne to Shepparton (babysitting duties) with a ladder on the roof that sang to us the whole way. There is no way that we weren't going to attempt these whilst we were only a couple of hours away. Packed ropes as well as not sure what will be needed. This was a nice easy find and was quickly signed and returned and we were on our way to the next. Thanks for the cache.
We have had our eyes on this series for some time after checking them out a while back. I am not as nimble as I once was so we made sure we had a suitable TOTT on board to make life a little easier. This one was a quick and easy find and we were soon on or way to the next. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache(s) joelisa.
My first tree climb of the day. I think. Seriously by this stage I have collected a few caches more than I normally do in a day (I’m a quality over quantity girl, but the quality is good here) so I spent most of the time up the ladder trying to remember if I had, or had not, climbed a tree already today. I still don’t know the answer, I’ll have to go through my list a bit later! Great cache here, nice and easy to see from the ground, just how I like them! TFTC Joelisa
On the way home from the Alexandra mega event with the garbageman and we stopped to do these caches on the way. this was the first time i have attempted to climb a tree in my adult life [ maybe my whole life ] I decided the best way was just to go for it and that's what i did. I was pretty proud of myself when i reached the top and didn't have too much trouble getting back down. thanks for the cache Joelisa tnln sl Fav point for the fun
The long journey home today from the AX2017 event but despite the drive ahead of us we still found time to pick out a few ‘special’ caches of interest.
This series has been on my list for a long time due to the D:T combos on offer. Sadly though we had limited tools or safety gear with us on this trip and after maybe 5 hours sleep in the previous 48 these were a bit daunting.
We started at 1 and completed the first couple but soon decided we might literally live to fight another day if we came back when less tired and when better prepared. Looking forward to returning though.
Hard to miss this one - but the climb is still pretty daunting. Mrs Minions made it look easy though. TNLN TFTC

In the company of the The_Tritonz and Nawal, we made our way from Geelong to Wagga Wagga. We stopped periodically here and there grabbing caches along the way. There were trads, mysteries, multis and even tree climbs to contend with. Thanks to all of the CO's for their hard work. Special thanks to Chris for the tools provided and his specialist skill !! TFTC Joelisa
A geo trip was planned months ago after we got the green light for holidays and today we were off to explore some areas we hadn't been before. DAB, the Tritonz and myself (we were logging caches as The DNT) were in a convoy up the Hume and we broke up the 6 hour journey with a few finds along the way with the final destination today being Wagga Wagga. Lots of fun on this series and the last one found with the use of the geo ladder again. Signed and returned as found.

While staying in Wodonga for the weekend we made sure we took the opportunity to head north over the border to try our hand at this small tree climbing series with excellent DT combos.
Not really knowing what to expect at No1, we inspected the tree and the location of the hide and made the decision to free climb. The logbook was signed before the descent was made back to terra firma......one down!
Thanks Joelisa for the placement .

5357. A long day out with Rapidlywild, FurfacesLL and Loci612.
I believe my colleagues have covered our adventure to a T.
So a big thank you to them and especially to the CO for their efforts and providing us with lots of entertainment.

A trip was planned for last weekend but the weather spoiled those plans, re-scheduled for today and what a lovely day it turned out to be. Not too hot, not too cold, just right for some monkeying around. Headed out just after 6.30am and returned around 12.30am collecting just over 60 caches on the trip more than originally planned. The touring party consisted of Boot65, Loci612, Rapidlywild and myself with all logs through the day being signed as B.F.L.R.
Finally arrived at the first of the tree climbs and after spotting the first one we were all wondering what we were going to be install for today, we were not disappointed. Spotted pretty quickly then for the climb which was interesting and rather expressive. Cache retrieved and dropped down to ground support with a local resident in the cache container. A lovely little huntsman. Log duties performed, container repaired and sent back up again for placement.
Thanks for the tree climb series Joelisa and thanks for a great day out Boot65, Loci612 and Rapidlywild.

Myself, Rapidlywild, FurfacesLL and Boot65 who was our chauffeur and brought the sturdy 4x4 Vehicle with a double ladder attached to it's roof made our way from Canberra to Walla Walla to tackle this impressive tree climbing series! I will give a favourite point to EVERY cache in this series as I love tree climbs and I have never been so challenged before by them while caching!
This was the first of the series, and wow it started off with a bang! Now I know it is 4.5 terrain but I was't expecting such a challenging tree climb to start it off! Oh well at least the difficulty panned out correctly as we spotted it fairly easily and then I realised what I had got myself into!
I started the climb with the rest of the team being amazing ground support and telling me which limbs to use to get myself up there. There was one bit that was slightly scary and I cussed a few times but once I built my courage I finally retrieved the cache!
I was glad to be back on ground but had a feeling of what was to come.
Every cache in the series was signed as B.F.L.R to save some space and time of course

A group of us in the ACT had been planning a Walla Walla trip to tackle the 4.5T series of caches for a little while now, we locked in last Saturday however weather and news was reporting "significant" rains so we postponed to this Saturday. After heading off nice and early, the four of us (Boot65, FurfacesLL #1, Loci612 and myself) set off for our long day of adventures. We had 9 caches in our initial target, came home with just over 60 finds after 17+ hours out and about. It was an amazing day challenging ourselves in many ways and hitting some awesome fun 4wd tracks under moonlight We signed all caches today as B.F.L.R. to save room in the logs. Picked up 3 D/T's for me and FurfacesLL claimed their 25,000th find Congrats ladies.

**This Cache:** And so it begins.... the T4.5 series. Wow what a way to start the series off. Took us a few minutes to spot the cache, then we worked out the approach and Loci did the honors. With 3 of us below providing ground support on where to move next, Loci was soon at the cache. We had the log signed and performed some on the spot repair works to the cache container as it was cracked and brittle (will need replacing soon though). I will be awarding a fav point to each of these as they were the basis of an amazing day out caching with some awesome people.
Thanks to Boot65 for being our chauffeur today in the new 4wd beast, was super fun thanks also Loci and FFLL for the great day out and thanks for the cache of course Joelisa [^]

Chrisant was the one to do the climbing for this one, and while it was easy to find and also retrieve, it did get us thinking what the rest of the series would be like.
Thanks Joelisa for placing the cache for us to find.

With the last in the series finally found and signed we were feeling pretty darn good - tired and hungry but thrilled at finding them all. The series took us all morning - we didn't care how long it took, we had all day. We were impressed by the variety and way the caches were placed and how they fitted into their true D/T ratings. There are no gift D/T's in this series, you earn each and every one. Thanks Joelisa, well done on a fabulous tree climb series.
The FANTZ team left chilly Canberra just after 6:30 for a caching adventure in southern NSW. It was wet but we hoped that the weather would improve as the day stretched, yawned and put the kettle on for a strong coffee. And the weather did indeed improve. A stop for coffee in Yass and then it was go go go to Walla Walla...
Noikmeister did the climbing on this one. A ladder were not required. But it was to come in handy later. I was amazed at how fast NM got up and back.
TFTC Joelisa!
PS FANTZ is just a made up caching name from the first letters of our caching names:
Fox in Jox
AngelG27
Noikmeister
TikvaNZ
ZQX
We wrote FANTZ in all the logs to save time and space (like Dr Who does every episode).

Team FANTZ (Fox in Jox, AngelG27, Noikmeister, TikvaNZ & ZQX) undertook a road-trip from the ACT for the day to collect the series of nine tree climbs in Walla Walla and several puzzles and trads in and around Wagga Wagga. A fun and successful outing.
I had these nine tree climbs on my radar since I did a great multi-tree climb with Jamin Appleford for an FTF in Melbourne. This would be a lot of fun, but would also fill in many T4.5 grids for my second loop.
This cache was the warm-up, admirably acquired by Noikmeister. Nb. I reckon the terrain ratings for all caches in this series are appropriate - don't expect rung-like branch limbs!

A mini posse comprising Fox in Jox, Noikmeister, TikvaNZ, ZQX and I headed south on a wet Saturday to grab these 9 tree climb caches and our Outdoor Day souvenir. By the time we arrived, the rain has ceased and the weather was much more favourable for our tree climbing experts. All 9 caches were found and signed successfully - although some took more work than others! We signed as FANTZ to storten time up the tree. A great series to help with our DT grids thanks Joelisa!
cache no 1 for the day and it was good to get out of the cars after the long drive. Did not stop NM from stretching his legs for a quick find at around 1015. Very easy to find compared to later ones in the series.

On the way down to these caches we were discussing what we thought a 4.5 terrain tree climb cache. What does that missing half star mean? I murmured that I thought it could mean that while you don't specifically REQUIRED special equipment to climb the tree, that its lack could result in serious injury or death. After stopping for this cache I think I was proven right.
I beat FIJ into the tree for this one and climbed up and up. It certainly was high! Signed the log in situ with our FANTZ moniker and then monkeyed down.
Thanks Joelisa

Today's caching mission with Fox in Jox, AngelG27, Noikmeister and ZQX had been in the planning for a while, with the aim to collect a bevy of high difficulty/terrain caches to fill some holes in our respective D/T grids. We left Canberra just after 0630, arriving in Walla Walla just after 1000. We had some rain on the way but all was clear by the time we started caching.
This cache was quickly spotted and soon retrieved by Noikmeister. Signed as FANTZ. TFTC

On the road with 88andy88 on a 3-week road trip from Melb to Surfers and back. Today is our last day and we're heading home.
We have had these on our to-do list since they were published, so decided to take a slight detour to have a go. Although 88andy88 did most of the climbing, I was proud to be in charge of TOTT duties and spotting and directing from terra firma (and the consequential sore neck!).
Thanks for an awesome series, Joelisa. Fav point heading your way
Oh, and this is my 1500!!! Woohoo! Go me!!

On the final day of our massive trek from Melbourne to Queensland and then back to Melbourne Via road and again we stopped to grab some interesting caches and some dates for our charts.....
This little series i have had my eye on for quite a while back in Melbourne and today we went out of our way on the return trip to attempt these....
Many of our Vic Cachers know me and my recent shoulder surgery to repair a serious shoulder injury from sport and 4 months down the track i am recovering and on the better side of healing so....why not push it to the max and climb some trees for some boxes of plastic.....so here we are:
This was our first and well it really got the heart started and tested the 1 and a half armed man out but i managed the climb the slow reach and the grab and sign.....
Loved it

Wow. Could see the cache driving up the road. Young boogoose went in hard but got about half way up and squibbed it! So dad had to strap it on and get up there. Managed to drop the pen lid so ended up climbing it twice. How exhilarating to climb a tree. Haven't had this much fun in a while! Thanks joelisa for reintroducing is to tree climbing!
Found at 3:01 PM GAFF1.
Didn't need the ladder for this one, but it was still a lot higher than what we were expecting. Quickly spotted which was reflected by the D of 1.0.
Thanks Joelisa.

# 9861. On this last day of 2015 Harrowang, Robmc and I joined forces to go and attack some 4.5T caches over the border. We stopped for a new one at Huon Hill on the way and also gathered a few more in our travels. I am extremely happy as in the last 24 hours I have managed to add 5 smilies to my 81 squares and now I only have one left to colour in. So close.
And so we begin the series. First one signed at 10.46am. Just as well we brought out extenda stick with us today and our versatile plumber come monkey. These were difficult caches for us but perseverence and planning paid off and we got 8 of the 9. We had a climber, two ladder holders and a log signer. It certainly made it easier to have 4 of us on hand. Mr Harrowang retrieved this one. Left one of my new Vogue #1 pathtags here today.
Thanks Joelisa

Now us 3 intrepid teams come to the main reason for our trip today! Robmc, BettyBoo and harrowang (and a useful assistance tool) are about to embark on some tree climbing. Well, perhaps not quite everybody will be climbing, but there is always a need for someone to sign the log sheet as part of the deal, so we will all be assisting in the process. No. 1 conquered by mr harrowang. SL at 10.46am #3262 and a D/T square filled in too. TFTC Joelisa and bolstered by our success it is off to No. 1.5
We had looked at these cache in Walla Walla a few times, and with all of us (Harrowang, BettyBoo3747, and I) not having some terrain 4.5 caches in our matrix, we decided to take a trip up and see what we could do.
We also did a few caches that happened to be on our path up and back.
The first of the Tree Climb trail, and the only one I needed to complete my D/T table.
A bit higher than we were expecting, but certainly not difficult to spot.
Mr Harrowang was the first up the tree today (and completed the majority of the climbs)
Thanks, Robmc.

I caught up with The Drovers while in the Wagga area and they mentioned they were heading out to complete this series of tree climbs so I decided that I would tag along and have some fun.
Thankfully we had the TOTT with us which made life a bit easier.
After parking nearby the cache was soon located and then retrieved.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Thanks for a challenging afternoon been a while since climbing this many trees
Found while on a detour of my long drive south.
Had this trail on my to do list for the drive, and I did get to do most of it.
This one was a fast climb!
Thanks for hiding

Strumbled across these by accident while enjoying a walk around the lush farm estates of walla walla. It was the small bright orange object that first caught my eye. Upon opening my geo-app i was pleasantly surprised to see i was at the start of what would turn out to be a very exciting series of caches. Well done to the co for a great series.
Staying with the creator of this series. Went out just before dark to wet my appetite. Don't like heights so this will be interesting. Tftc Joelisa!!
Found it! Got half way up and couldn't go any further so I didn't get to sign it but I will eventually
It was road trip time and three days traveling and caching was quickly planned. An early morning start and the first location was Mt Buller. From Mt Buller I headed to Bookham in NSW and stayed there the night before hitting the Endangered Species series of caches, starting early the next morning. Heading South West I stopped at Gundagai to visit a 'dog', continued through Walla Walla and Urana before crashing just out of Berrigan. The third day I continued west to Echuca then south through Bendigo and the final stretch for home.
The weather was good on day one but later that night it started to rain and continued for the next two days. Needless to say I did get quite wet on occasions, and some of the country roads I followed where no place for a 2WD, the Prado would slip and slide but luckily kept moving forward. By then end of the trip there was another 1800 km on the clock, 239 cache finds, 2 DNFs and 5 FTF's just to top it off. Thanks to all the CO's for the caches I found and the places they brought me to.
I do love a good tree climb and the D/T's for the caches are not that common so a visit to Walla Walla was a must do while on the road. I didn't know what to expect at each tree and each turned out to be a bit different to what I expected them to be. Not necessarily high but quite tricky and 'technical'. The difficulty was raised for me too as it was raining and getting dark when I made the climb here, and completely dark during the fourth tree I dared to climb.
I spotted the cache upon arriving at GZ, perched up high, and had a look at the best way to get access to it. Once I'd figured that out I was up and signing the log in no time. From here on it got a lot more difficult. Thanks Joelisa for this cache.

Borrowed a bigger TOTT than the one we had in the geo-cruiser, and headed back to Walla Walla
to attempt the 4.5 Tree Climb Trail.
Geo-wife made the climb at each tree, due to geo-hubby's bad knee.
We managed to locate the 6 remaining caches, and it's a pity the others are out of action.
Many thanks for a challenging and enjoyable series, Joelisa.

Omg that was funny indianagleeson made the climb while we all shouted words of encouragement. Tftc.
Indianagleeson took one for the team while fox2 was concerned about the proximity of his car.... With indianagleeson and red_leader&fox_2
Seen these caches and decided to take a detour going to Melbourne, yes they are high, but got there, the heat of the day is scaling up , currently it's at 39, soon had the cache duties done and off to the next one. TFTC

We were on a 10 day caching and camping trip and this series seemed like a must, Although I had a telescopic ladder on tour with us I managed to leave it at our camp in Wodonga so had to do them all the hard way, we started at #1 and worked our way through the list. This one was easily spotted and retrieved.
Thanks for the challenge.

Having spent the week finding select caches, this was one series I was looking forward to visiting...and so stopped by here today on my way back home to Newcastle. This was the final cache to find in this series today, and it certainly was the easiest to spot with that vibrant colour! A quick scramble up to retrieve, and a long drop down!

Great start to what turned out to be a great series. Mez did all of the climbing on this one, but Teags did a great job of navigating and spotting the caches. TFTC Joelisa!
After checking out (not seeing) #4.5 we went to the 'start of the series', where MVMB was keen to have a go. To doubt any of the local muggles will have a go at seeing what is in the bucket. But it is a relatively easy climb.
Good coordinates, cache dry and intact.
Brought through for mileage: 12-12-12 Event, 3 Bros NSW, Auckland NZ'13, B 2 B Travel ingot, CII-35Z, CITO - Upper Swan and Beyond geocoin, Explorer Tag - Jeremy, GCookie EARTH Cache 10 year Celebration Coin, GxPROXY Traveller - MATT, Iconic Bridges 2012, JERSEY THE WOOKI DOG RSPCA FUNDRAISING TRACKABLE, Kengu, Mei letzter Schilling, cache critters Baa, Neigh Neddy, and Oink, NZ Mega 13 signature, NZ Mega 2013 GCookie Coin, thank you - moliva, TransAustralia, Tylers Golf Ball, and trackable shirts.

How high is that? Fine looks like an easy climb and left the ladder in the back of the car.....the ground crew were in a fit of laughter after only the first in this series on to the next one [^]
Found the first one easily and we were stopped by a local wondering what was in the bucket
I have never been much of a tree climber but thought i may be able to get a couple of these caches. We arrived with team ff04 and as soon as we saw the cache in that tree i knew i would probably remain part of the support crew After watching Franksie from ff04 slide up the tree to the container he dropped it down to the ground were the signing duties were completed
