After confirmation from co, cache container has moved to An evening stroll, he is endeavouring to fix soon.
We looked for this cache on both our outward in inward walk along the sea front this evening. However, we dnf the beast. Considering the last dnf., we think that this cache has gone awol. Could the co please check that the cache is still in place. Thank.

Saw a rusted d ring in tree. No sign of what we assume would have Once been a bison tube.
Find 4 of 10 in and around Napier.
Needed two visits here as first time we were focussed on the satellite view. Spread out second time for a quick find.
TFTC nickhbnz!

An easy find for Geoson who was interested in the near by children's bike park. Sorry, No bike, no ride! Tftc. MattyHTassie
Visiting Marine Parade for the first time in a while and noting its modernisation. Found the cache during peak muggle time and returned after dark to retrieve and log. TFTC.
A nice and quick find. Had to be pretty stealthy today, should have done it earlier as we were staying at the nearby YHA. Cheers.
We are on the way to Masterton today, taking the roads less travelled, at least for part of the journey.
Thanks to all of the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

In the Hawke’s Bay for a couple of days, enjoying the Christmas break. Had to bring the nieces to the skate park to let of some steam so took advantage of this to search for a cache. Loads of muggles about but all just watching the kiddies in the skate park. No problems finding the cache, signing the log and returning it. TFTC
Strolling along the waterfront enjoying the scenic vistas so stopped to make a nice quick find. TFTC
Found this tricky hide whilst visiting Napier off the cruise ship Diamond Princess. TFTC
Find Number 1483, found at 09:09
Day 9 of our cruise to Hobart and New Zealand. Today we docked Napier and took a city tour.
We continued along the path thoroughly enjoying the facilities. This whole area is a tribute to the town, an area of which Napier can justifiably feel proud.
I must confess I'm finding New Zealand's D ratings a bit confusing. This is a nicely camouflaged container well hidden and gets D1.5. Yesterday I found a magnetic eclipse tin hidden on the only metal object in 50m and it was D2.5. Anyway, enough of my ranting. This was a nice cache hidden in a great spot and is well worth an FP from me.
The cache was in good condition. We signed the log (sometimes we sign micro logs with G&T or GT) and replaced the container as found
Thanks nickhbnz for the cache.

This became our last hide in Napier, tomorrow we’ll continue to Whanganui
In order to log this we had to be creative cause we were not alone

Found it. Checked the obvious places first but came away empty handed. Then spied something else that matched the clue and there it was. Found with DJZT. TFTC. Cheers
On our last day we grabed this one. Directly at the playground it was not so easy, but today we had some rain and hence no kids around......TFTC
I came back for a second go at this one and it so much easier this time around. I’m glad I managed to pick this one up.
Coords a bit off, but it was clear where to search. Took a couple of minutes, then spotted the well-camo’d cache. TFTC
I found this cache along with a small group of secondary school students (SJCgeocamp) who were finding Geocaches as part of their camp week. They visited Huka falls, Taupo, Napier, Hastings and Te Mata Peak over four days. We went swimming hiking, and biking and found a wide range of geocaches ranging from traditionals, puzzles, Earthcaches, gadget caches, and the boys favorites-night caches. My hope is that because of their experience they decide to continue Geocaching as a hobby in the future. Thank you to all the CO’s who placed and maintained all the geocaches we found and for bringing us to so many interesting spots.
We found this one while enjoying a bike ride along the esplanade. We hired the bikes from Bikefish then biked up to the sundial and then collected caches on our way back. The weather was awesome which made for a really nice afternoon. After a few DNF's it was nice to finally find one!

A bit behind with the logging - on a 3 day caching adventure with rustynz and gorby
Just had a nice meal Thai Hutt restaurant with 6 other Westies from Auckland, now some have gone one way and me and Rebel and rusty have gone another. Thought this was going to be a long search but no... I found it in a very short time. What a cool playground for the kids!
We had dinner nearby at the Thai restaurant - yum
Sadly the Danish Delight was closed, so no icecreams tonight, no problems as we found a cache instead! with a group of Westies finding caches around Napier, thanks for the hide.

A few Westies from Auckland were wasting time until we could check-in to our accomodation. We ended up along the beach on a gorgeous day. Merlot58 and I searched while Jag50 watched on, having found this one on a previous visit. While signing the log I admired this amazing playground.
A very cool playground with lots of kids totally disobeying the road rules but they were having lots of fun and didn't notice us searching for and finding this cache
It wasn't as easy as I was expecting. Managed to find this one at 0930Hr on 14 Nov 2017.
Staying on the Parade and as this cache was very handy I wandered over to take a look.
While the GPSr was showing me a GZ a few metres away the clue assisted. Loitered around the item looking from all sides then look at that, there it is.
SL and left as found. TFTC.

We were staying over night in Napier and decided to look for a few caches before eating. This was one of two (out of eight) that we managed to find!
Heading north we had reached Napier, so decided to take a stroll along the front before dinner. No trouble locating this one - but not much luck with some of the others nearby
Cache appears to be removed. Had seen it before with a friend but didn't log myself. Is no longer in the same place.
This is a very late Found it log, we actually got this one way back in Oct of last year!!!. Having just found the pic in my phone of our success. I still recall very clearly the hunt for this well hidden gem. I (Angel) was all over the show, my GPSr had no idea as to which side of the fence I should be, so due to the frustration of it all I put my lethal weapon down and used logic. Amazing what the grey matter can do with out the aid of technology. TFTC (and so sorry for the late log)
This one had us stumped. The GPSr was pointing inside the enclosure but the hint suggested otherwise. We searched both areas. Even returned with family to see if their superior eyesight could spot it but no go. Either we need a white cane or the cache is gone.
Well, we searched high and low, couldn't find it, so moved on to another nearby cache. We couldn't find that one either and were faced with the disappointing (and unpalatable) prospect of 3 DNFs in a row! Walking back towards the playground, we passed this cache's GZ, and there it was, right in front of our eyes, and exactly where we'd expected it to be when we were searching!
Brought the kids here to play cops and robbers. While the cops were not watching I made a sneaky grab. Much to the wifes dismay. She seems to think I take her and the kids places because there are nearby caches. She is deluded. Anyway thanks for the hide. Another smiley on this hot clear day
Thanks for the cache! We had to voor back because we didn't find it in the dark.
Clever location and hide! Clever friend, and careful reading of description got us there
TFTC!

Very clever hiding spot and the best bike park for littles in NZ. No pen so took photo. Thanks.
Quick find while on a whanau bike adventure. No pen so see attached photo of log
On our summer tour of the North Island - Eastern. A visit to Hastings and Napier wouldn't be complete without a few caches. Neat bike park and playground. Tftc.
Sorry GPS pointed to a children's play ground and as we are OAPs we're reluctant to pursue this cache.
We were lucky that early evening found the cycle track completely deserted. A quick look in some likely spots had the cache in hand.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Set off from Wellington yesterday on a tiki tour and spent the night in Dannevirke at a friend's. Today was a bit of a wash-out, and no one was in the mood for caching, but later, after a rest at the lovely Ashcott Homestead, where are staying (and when the rain had stopped), we decided to drive to Napier for dinner. Our meal was a disappointment, but the caching more than made up for that! It was also the first time that my friend from Auckland had been to Napier, so it was a good way to plot a walking route ... while I hunted, she admired the city. Thanks for the cache.
Once we had figured out where it was we had to come back was more muggle free but easy find.
Rainy today so had a good caching day out with my muggle husband to do the driving.
Circumnavigated GZ several times until I spotted it.

Biked from Clive onto here to take a look around with the intention to collected the caches on the way back. Thanks for all the caches.
Cool little track to learn to ride sad that the parents don't enforce helmets on their kids.

Cool find! Thanks for the hide. Unfortunately I didn't bring a pen with me so if you choose to delete my log I understand. Mum's first geocaching experience and it took her a few minutes to spot this one. Loved watching the kids in the road safety zone! Happy new years
For some reason we could not find this cache on our last visit two years ago, but today we spotted it almost immediately. A great little bike park, even if the children seemed to be running the red lights - just like some adults! TFTC
I was on my bike, so it seemed OK to stop and watch the younger cyclists and scooter-riders for a while. Pretty hard to pretend to watch them while surreptitiously scanning the greenery though. I gave up and took a ride down the marine parade, coming back about 20 mins later to take up the same position as I had been before. This time I saw the cache immediately. Hasty signing and return. Thanks for placing the cache.
Quick find opposite our motel while my daughter was having fun on the playground. TFTC.
