I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi DanielHurri
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Not been found since September 2017 & 2 DNF's from cachers with a number of finds. CO not logged onto website since Monday, 09 January 2017. Suspect this is missing and the location abandoned.
Had some time today and went to the CZ. Searched for longer than I would normally for D/T of this value. Not there today. Will return after CO updates or another find logged.
Ever since working out the final for this I've pondered where the entrances to this connection actually are. Sure there's a strip of public land but surely no-one actually uses it as a connector! I considered coming up from the bottom where parking is easier but a gaggle of muggles decided to appear at just the wrong place and hovered. Instead I went to the other end, found somewhere to park and walked back. The street was really quiet with not a single vehicle going by the entire time I was there.
I spent some time looking in places I might possibly hide a cache, looked at the hint, investigated a distinctive plant I thought the hint might be referring to which looked a little worse for wear but still managing to grow. About to give up I checked some logs. Barefootguru's comment make me think a little differently. Possibly rolled down the hill you say? Cache found 5 seconds later in a rather random place not really in accordance with the hint but probably a best effort of another cacher not knowing where it was supposed to be. I think it might have been under the distinctive plant I checked before but as that's clearly taken a hammering perhaps it disloged the cache from wherever it was. Or maybe the big spider I saw chucked it out so it could move in. The CO should probably check it (the cache, not the spider).
Due to the quiet nature of GZ I actually enjoyied searching for this. Something I don't think has been said in any other log for this cache! Thanks for placing.

A quick solve without actually having to go to wp1. Started off close to the final but widened my search then had the container in hand. All in order. TFTC
Walked right past connection… expected uncharted council footpath, not a 'paper' shortcut! Took quite a spell searching before widened area and looked under less obvious hint objects — while in concordance with hint, cache placement seemed a bit random… possibly rolled down hill. Secured it where I found it. Good to *tick* this one off. Thanks DanielHurri!
Another one ticked off the 'solved and ready to find' list! A bit of scramble down the hill but feels good to have this one found. TFTC!
Cache # 2,616 - Been dry for a couple of days, so came along with Astro Hunter to see if we could track this one down now. Still tricky to get down the first part of the connection, but once there it was a quick find after happening to glance in the right spot. Very happy to finally get this one done. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Did today with The Wandering Dragons. An adventure, but fortunately one from which we emerged unscathed. Thank you.
Cache # 511
Cache # 511
Came by here today intending to tackle this again, as I had a couple of previous DNFs on the day. However the recent rain had made the trail quite treacherous, and still recovering from a bad fall a few weeks ago myself I decided to give it a pass and will be back again in drier weather.
What a mission! We searched many hint objects, going backwards and forwards. The house nearby has burnt down and we wondered if this had effected the cache (no need to worry though, it hasn't). Then we spotted the connect... oops, should have spotted this sooner! Down we climbed, avoiding the dog poo as best we could... found a previous cachers belonging that got us to the right spot, and soon enough the cache was in hand. TFTM
I had solved this a long time ago using Google to put aside for a multi-streak challenge, which I didn't end up using. Came up this way as I was attempting to find four multis in a day for a different challenge. Obviously a little known connection as there really doesn't appear to be anywhere at the start of the connection. A bit of a stumble here and eventually found the right hint object. TFTC
Took a drive along a few little known roads in a little known suburb, made the connection when we managed to locate the cache in a little known spot, TFT Multi.
#556. Today is Tuesday. Time for another night excursion into Tawa and yet another DanielHurri cache. I quickly solved the coordinates using GE and had a good idea of what sort of plant to search under. The ticks attribute was a bit of a worry. Haven't seen those on the mainland previously! Must be the nearest you get to mosquitos on that list and yes they are present. About 30 on my legs before I finished signing the log! The cache itself was an easy find. Literally the first plant I checked on the goat track. Sometimes luck is on your side. If it had taken longer I would have been eaten alive by the bugs. Day 6 of our multi-streak. First find of this cache in nearly 4 months. TFTC
Had searched for this one a month back with no luck, so thought I'd try again today for my multi streak. This time came up trumps after a few minutes searching. TFTC
Got a tip off that this was an easier multi and goat track located quickly once co-ords solved. Bit of a scramble and cache soon located. TFTC
Worked out the coordinates and arrived at the connection, that would put a smile on the face of any goat. With lots of plants around that meet the description it certainly was "Multi" choice. 8/10. TFTC
one of the first multi caches i have done! we got to the street! and we were like where is the foot paths! nice little path!
Just getting into doing multis, this was a nice easy start thanks and wow we did have a little trouble finding this path!
Find #2035. On my way home after finding a few last Tawa caches. Hardly a path, more like a goat track. The cache was quite visible, I guess hidden in plain sight with the other rubbish. SL TFTC.
#984 Solved this one from home a couple of nights ago and decided to pick it up today. Managed to get home before the rain luckily- this connection is slippery as it is! Aga was looking at hint objects close to the road and Ska came up trumps a little further in. Felt a little concerned with a muggle at their window just above us but I don't think we were spotted luckily. TFTC.
A solve at home and visited GZ today with 1Grunta. A short search and 1Grunta came up with the goods - TFTC !
A very quick solve at home when it was first published.
I had done a drive-by before, but hadn't spotted the walkway in the drizzle, so didn't bother stopping at the time.
Back with Broadbridges today. He was concentrating on one area, so I had a quick look somewhere slightly different and came up with the goods.

Unable to make the connection today despite a likely location. However did a bit of CITO - plenty more still for the next cacher.
Had to skip a nearby cache because it was too close to the road, so went to do this one, having solved the first part last week. The connection certainly looks dubious, especially after it had rained hard all night. Searched for a good 15 minutes, and one of the geokids took a tumble partway down the hill. We called it a day on this cache, and will be back later, perhaps when it is drier.
Tried this on a sunny Saturday from what I thought was easiest access. Muggled by neighbor and his 2 dogs! 'Just exploring the local shortcuts' I said. Next house also had avid gardeners out. Quick look under obvious hints and abandoned with a long circuit walk back to the car. Knowing where the connection exited, parked car next to exit and stood and pondered in today's drizzle. Damn you multi streak I thought, then caught a glimpse of the container under some things there were plenty of but not the obvious ones I looked at on Saturday. Glad to knock you off easily today. TFTM
#5302. The connection was certainly unknown to us. Not sure how well used it is. Quick solve, but took longer to find. Quite a few hint objects around GZ. A good candidate for CITO. TNLNSL. TFTC.

#7211. We parked close to GZ. At first we wondered whether we were in the right place, and I was relieved when we did spot a "little known connection". After quite a lot of scrambling, I eventually found the cache in a not terribly obvious spot (albeit one that was consistent with the hint). TFTC.

Armchair solve, thanks to Google street view so we went straight to the final. Wondered if I had made a mistake as couldn't see any connection when we parked, but then we spotted the track. I didn't like the look of it, so StreetWalker had to do the searching while I made helpful observations . He found it, eventually.
Not a connection to use in wet weather, I suspect. TFTC.

The calculations are still wrong. The decimal part of the minutes of both latitude and longitude are now correct; the integer parts of both were originally correct but are now both wrong. In the case of the longitude they result in an impossible value.
Changed the description (again) to get the right coordinates for the final. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The final was an easy find but the CO might like to have another look at the puzzle because the numbers don't work for the minutes although the seconds are OK. Tftc!
Dropped in here on the way back from Porirua this afternoon after I couldn't go for the cache I was originally after due to a group of teenagers persistently hanging around near GZ. Definitely not an obvious pathway here! It's actually easy to deduce the number on the letterbox at the listed coordinates by working backward from the calculations so I didn't bother going there, I had pre-solved the puzzle at home. Found the cache after a few minutes' search of likely objects. Calculations are all good now after the latest change . Signed log, TFTC
Oops - one error still remains in the calculations. I think the third decimal place of the minutes of longitude should be either (first number + 4) or (second number). What is there at the moment doesn't make sense.
Soon came up with a workable set of numbers but the final took a little longer to track down. TFTC
Have updated description to match right coordinates. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Joint FTF with Yeetrees. Didn't take long to track down the required info, thinking hmmmm, I know who lives here.
Certainly not a connection I had explored before, but met yeetrees there as I did so today. After a joint search we came up with the cache.
Will email the CO details, but there is a problem with the calculated coordinates giving a solution half way across Tawa!

Only 3TF oh well. I know the connector mentioned in the description.
Some one I know live on Wilfred street.
Decided to try the puzzle and got a answer halfway across Tawa so perhaps CO would like to check the calculations for a mistake. Found without to much trouble.
TFTC to the owner
and I will email the coordinates I got from my GPS at the final.
