I chose this as the next cache I would hunt. After navigating the streets and finding a convenient parking place it was time to walk the last stretch.
When I got close to GZ my GPSr insisted I walk out into the swamp. I found a well worn path and followed it, but it still left me 6m out.
I could not see anything from the ground, nor could I clearly determine which tree I am supposed to climb. One looked nicer and I got a couple of meters up but saw nothing.
With the ambiguity of exact GZ and ambiguity on which tree I even needed to climb I decided I’d wasted enough time here and called it quits.

While we were in the area we decided to search for this one. We made the short walk from the car park to gz, dodging the flooded areas on the path as we went. Gz was pretty flooded but not enough to stop the search. We searched for a good half hour without any luck, so unfortunately we had to walk away without a find on this one. Another blue face added to the map. TFTC Tomthewizz.
Out with axell33 for some smilies this way but no luck here! We spent ages here, luckily we weren’t really bothered by muggles as we must have looked a sight as we searched for this one. We even had help from a friend online, but still it eluded us! Will keep an eye on it to check for any movement.
Had a look around for about 15 mins, then it got really busy, so I decided to leave.
Checked today on our bike ride during a break in the weather. Cache is there in plain sight! Cachers must be looking in the wrong tree!
Still no luck. Got dark so going back in the morning. This one is frustrating me. I may be too old to climb far enough.
So disappointed I didn’t find. Spent about an hour but hard to do a good look with so many out and about. Will return.
Just brilliant. Took a while of searching to eventually spy it sitting so perfectly camouflaged in its surroundings. Quality hide so a favourite point awarded for this one. Thanks Tomthewizz. Enjoyed the hunt in this peaceful location.
Hunting for morning smiles with GeoTrekky. Took us few minutes to find, awesome camo awarded a favourite. Due to P having a broken ankle GeoTrekky did the climbing. TFTC - TTW - Find #442
A very clever hide . Did enjoy looking for this one in an area we haven’t explored before. Thanks for bringing us here TFTC

Lots of scratching of the head, MacGyver spotted and I did the retrieval and signing duties TFTH
Out for a cache trip with B12, he made the find here after elevating himself a little. TFTH
Out for a days caching down to Mandurah with Cravo10 to cleanup a few recently solved puzzles and some pesky traditionals that have been on “the list” for too long.
Started caching around 6am to beat the weekday traffic and managed just under 30 finds for the days work with some nice walks through the yunderup and general Mandurah area.
Special thanks to the COs for their caches and choosing to share these locations with us.
Thanks again.

2nd one with my MIL & FIL but unfortunately they can’t log it just yet. Plenty of eyes helped cover the area!
You lil ripper! Came back for a second hunt on a cooler day and Tada!!! I found it! So happy ... I earnt this smilie TFTC
Decided to go for a short stroll and thought maybe theres a close geo and sure enough, as if there wouldn't be. Very clever hide. Easy once your standing in the tree.
Looked for ages and just about to give up. Spotted it and didn't have to climb too far before reached it. Great hide but that is all if this series for a while

Today I came back to look for this as the first time was when we had a group of people so I didn’t have time for a though search. After looking around for awhile I finally spotted something, bingo there it is! TFTC I love this sort of hide so a fav from me.
Firstly, apologies for the lateness in logging.
Despite my tardiness, you can be assured I enjoyed each and every cache found and not found.
Apologies if this is a generic log, my memory is good, but not that good.
This was found on a great trip to WA from Vic
Thanks again Tom, adding a fave

Found this with my brother boleejack and his sons. A really good intro for them into caching. TFTC
Out for a day of geocaching around the Mandurah area with the lovely Emmahen. Only 1 dnf for the day so I'm pretty happy with that.
A clever Camo, I'll award a favourite for it and the fact I like climbing

First one I've come across like this! Lucky I had Spike with me otherwise I would've been stuck! He did the climbing and I did the signing! Very good hide
Loved this cache. Glad my daughter was there too as I'm a bit old for things like this! Lol Fave point from me. TFTC
Searched high, low and in circles. To no avail. Hopefully better luck another day. Tfth
After some serious exercise doing some tricky ? on the island just off shore, its was nice to walk along this stretch and find some trad's.

Took in this cache and its neighbouring series on the day of our Boundary Island Assault. Quick find, lovely track. TFTC Tomthewizz.
Found after our assault on nearby Boundary Island.
TFTC Tomthewizz this is find # 1760 for us

After our assault on Boundary Island the weather had cleared up but with a nice breeze still keeping the flies away, we headed out for a wander to tackle this stretch of caches as it wasn't quite lunchtime yet. When the breeze dropped you certainly noticed the heat. The wetlands have dried up now and no the bright side so have the mozzies. Lovely little wander along here, the bike riders, pooch walkers and joggers all agree too.

Hi there Tomthewizz.
We found your cache **"TTW - Erskine Swamp"** at 9:54:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 15047.
We started the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.
We found 9 caches today & DNF'd 0. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** Just like Eliktrisiti before us, we found an empty container on the ground. No bison & no log sheet!! We placed the container in a spot alluded to by the hint, and added a sheet of paper to use as a log.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Found a container fallen from where it was meant to be (taken the hint) no sign from bison or log book. Fact about the mossies is true. I've placed the container back to where I think it was meant to be.
Found TTW - Erskine Swamp. I had thought I climbed the tree and find a bison tube, but found something else before the bison . TNLN SL TFTH Tomthewizz.

My youngest son did not need motivation to follow the hint and retrieved the cache, well hidden, I was surprised he did find it that well camouflage. TFTC
Cache has been replaced with a new one. This time you are looking for a bison tube in a camo hide.
Happy Caching!

Couldn't sign log because the nano has been tightened too much and can't be opened by hand.
Nicely hidden, reminds me of one of ours
Couldn't sign log because the nano has been tightened too much.
The next person will need pliers to undo it.

After meeting with some friends for a drink close by, we went for a small walk to grab this little beauty on our way home. GeoP went about on his search and after searching for quite a bit, the other half of Jackylegs suddenly pointed out something that just didn't quite fit in the surroundings and yep that was the cache! Loved it, FP from us. Tftc sl tnln
Grabbed this one after successfully completing the nearby Boundary Island cache for our T5 souvenir. TFTC

Out for a walk. Looked quickly for this one and gave up when I saw the difficulty. But out of the corner of my eye spotted something and I had it. No pen on hand so walk back to car, back to cache to sign and onto a lively walk along the estuary. Thanks again Tom the Whizz.
