Have tried for this one a few times but with no luck ..... In passing this arvo geohubby put his hands straight on it! Phew! T4TC:) and a fav point from us
It was a rainy day in Tamworth today. As we were walking up the street we stopped and I thought there was a cache in the street. When I checked my I phone we were three metres from the cache.
It was a little busy so some stealth was required. the hint was a great help in finding this cache and I put my hand on it the first place I touched.
Thanks Whitey Wiskas for the cache and honouring two Australian country music legends.

Mr. Herbz made this find whilst Mrs. Herbz was circumnavigating the area. TFTC Whitey Whiskas.
We have travelled up from Sydney, to spend a week or so in Tamworth & Nundle for the April school holidays, staying at the Big4 Paradise caravan park in our Jayco Swan outback camper trailer. Today we decided on a walk around Bicentennial Park, and then back through the Tamworth CBD, picking up caches on our journey. This is the 7th find of the day, 14th find of the holiday.
We were now on the final stage of our walk, heading along Peel Street. Arrived at GZ and was greeted by a magnificent bronze statue of Slim & Joy. We were busy searching around GZ when a passing Rural Fire Brigade lady (thanks) kindly pointed us in the right direction, after which we had CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC.

I'm terrible with clues if I even begin to think they're cryptic. We're (husband and I) in town for a couple days and were walking home from dinner at Hog's when I thought I'd open app to see what was about. Unfortunately, while we were at statues looking, both our young kids decided it was time to need bed. And the inevitable sob session hindered our concentration on this one. Hopefully we'll get another chance to look
Staying in Tamworth for a few days with a few caches in mind. Took note of the hint but still took us a while to finally locate. TFTC Whitey Wiskas.
Our first time geocaching in our hometown, great adventures on the longweekend. Only took a few minutes and my mum found it! Great one guys
Had the right idea straight away but still took a while for inexperienced eyes to pick up the usual camouflaged cache.
Our last day in Tamworth, this morning we took the drive out to Lake Keepit. After lunch we found more closer to town.
Our last one for this trip, last time we logged a DNF for it & you sent me a comment that I would kick myself when I did find it.
All I can say is you were right, how could I have missed it.
Love the bronze sculptures of this couple. The Slim Dusty centre in now open in Kempsey.
Another favouite point given
Thanks for placing this cache Whitey Wiskas

On the road with 88andy88 on day 16 of our 3-week road trip from Melb to Surfers and back. Just arrived in Tamworth.
Trying to look like "tourists" amongst the muggle-walkers and muggle-drivers.
Cheers!

OzHockeyChick and I were on the downward part of our 3 week tour and cache mission on way back from Queensland to Melbourne and now turned the geomobile south to make our way home and grab a few caches along the journey.
Fresh in Tamworth and out for dinner we noticed this little fella close by so we snuck off after dinner and grabbed it....Took a little while to find this one but we managed it eventually...The hint after thinking about it in more depth really helped...

Great place for a cache! Had to take a photo of Mr JuJu as he is a big Slim Dusty fan! TFTC
When the festival is on this was undoable will try again sometime. Cheers 4 Now
After a few attempts in past couple of days-finally found it during Country Music Week, no muggles around only lots of Country Music fans. A large amount of stealth is required this week. Step back and view the clue
tricky one! but found it quick because all muggles are busy with the Music at the countryfestival. tftc
Quick find! Someone seen me trying to feel up inside the statues dress. Turns out it's not hollow.
What an Australian icon this pair were, we did this cache nice and early so we were not noticed. Nice hide in such an open place. TFTC
Visiting from England, touring from Cairns to Sydney stopping overnight in Tamworth. Had an early morning cache hoovering session, now after breakfast with wife and friends walking around town I took the opportunity to grab a few more hides. Had visited the Country Music Museum, well worth a visit. Took picture of me at this Dusty hide. TFTC
