Well parking here is nuts haha the road is so busy! Little fella stayed in the car. Nice quick find! Lovely art work. TFTC!
Sydney to Adelaide cargo runDay Three: Corowa to homeWeather: a perfect caching day in Victoria, rain in SAOne of three caches found in the Yarrawonga area as I pass through. Google Maps seems to encourage you to avoid Yarrawonga when coming from or going to the west. My GPS wanted me ten meters south of where I found it, but its pretty obvious where the cache is likely to be. A bit of creep maybe. Nice view of the lake from here. Thanks for getting me to stop here with your cache au.fait.
These are very impressive pieces of public art. The design, materials and presentation created striking images. The hide location was obvious and we soon found the cache even that it was 7m from the published coordinates. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks au.fait for the cache and for bringing us here.
Why not here? There was interesting roadside art forming an entrance to Yarrawonga. I found the cache in a logical place about 6m from where my device was indicating. It was good to get close to the artworks to see how it was constructed in conjunction with the cache description.
A quick stop on the side of the road to find this one today, cache is all goodOn the way home from the Capital Geobash Mega in the ACT, today I made my way from Corowa/Rutherglen to Kerang via Shepparton, I had no real plan today other than find a few caches for a challenge caches plus visit some places on the back roads I was yet to visit. Thanks for the cache
Last find for today before heading back to our camping at Green Bank camping area.
Driven past here many times before but not fully appreciated these glorious structures. TFTC
Pulled over to look at an old car ... and lo and behold there's a cache here! TFTC and diversion!
Outlaw about with an upper this or staying at Yarrawonga for a week in the Murray resort. This was a nice drive by here. Nice easy fine thanks for the cache au-fauut
Out with Geowife and Geodog exploring the local area. Watching a black Wallaby feeding on the lush grass. Log is nearly full. Now onto the next one for the day. TFTC
Enjoyed the visit to Yarrawonga with goingplaces2 and finding some caches while out and about. No problem finding each cache and our visit was noted in each log. Thanks for the info and for this placement.
What do we do on a wet day with ilook4geo? Go caching anyway, of course. So we decided to go for a visit to Yarrawonga for the morning and pick up a few of the caches around there. This was an easy find in the obvious place. Log was signed and all was replaced as found.
Can't answer the question as to Y here. There doesn't seem to be any particular reason.
Thanks go to au.fait for this cache placement.

Thanks go to au.fait for this cache placement.
Travelling home the long way after the Rutherglen MEGA and remembered au.fait had a cache around here somewhere. Quickly looked it up, short trip back after a Ubolt back down the highway. Quick find. Log book a bit damp but unfortunately my TOTT bag was buried under 6 cases of hard earned wine so there was no replacing today. TFTC au.fait. Lovely spot to stop and admire the view.
Got up early today to catch a few caches before the drive south and then west. Got a great sunrise photo at the weir.

Found while in the area to attend the Rutherglen Mega Event over Easter. Most of the time was spent caches ng with Davidwazza, FeatherWaite and Freddo, although we did team up with various others at times. Logs were signed DEFF to save space and time. Thanks au.fait for the cache.
Found while in the area to attend the Rutherglen Mega Event over Easter, with Davidwazza, e.gregory1 and Freddo, signing the logs as DEFF. Thanks for the cache au.fait!
This weekend, it was a trip down to Victoria to attend [The Rutherglen Event](https://coord.info/GC9MH9M) 2023 Mega. Arriving on Thursday with a flight to Albury, I joined a few South Aussie friends, which consisted of e.gregory1, FeatherWaite, and Freddo.
Several geocaching series were completed, which included the Easter 2023 Wherigos, Brolga Bill’s Bike Trail (BBBT), Brolga Bill’s Puzzles (BBP), and the Ladders in Rutherglen series. I also hiked in Warby-Ovens National Park and completed the Wangaratta Warbys Challenge Trail (WCT) series. In addition, we targeted uncommon cache types, rare/unique D-T combinations, older caches (although not too many of these) and those with high Favourite Points.
We also completed several Adventure Labs (ALs) during our stay, which ranged from the Mega specific maze and gadget ALs, to sightseeing around Rutherglen and nearby towns:

The weather ranged from sunshine days, to overnight rain and dreary days, but for the most part, it didn't impact our geocaching as we targeted tree climbs on dry days, and power trails during the drizzly days.
This morning, we were able to escape west from Rutherglen to Yarrawonga via Bundalong to attend Frank Keenan parkrun at Yarrawonga. We were able to call past a few geocaches before/after parkrun, which included this geocache. We admired these sculptures/signs, and I thought it was a fine stop for a geocache. It wasn't long before we made this cache find in a logical spot, and the cache container was in good shape, but the logbook was quite wet and saturated, so we could barely sign. The logbook was stamped with DEFF (Davidwazza, e.gregory1, FeatherWaite, Freddo) to save logbook space. Thanks au.fait for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

On the way to the Rutherglen Mega I had to stop to get my my mentors cache along the way.
Nice roadside stop. Beautiful view of Lake Mulwala through the trees.
Log is moulding with little bugs crawling through it due to not being in a bag- sorry didn’t have a plastic bag to put it in.

Found. Driving this way with a previous finder in the car. With her hint, a nice easy grab. TFTC
We had to sit out a sudden cloud burst for about 10 minutes before we sprinted out for the very quick find.
We loved these art pieces.

With the highway so busy we cautiously pulled over to admire the sculptures and search for the cache. It wasn’t long before the container was in hand and the logbook signed.

We are now camped along the edge of the mighty Murray River near Yarrawonga
A number of local caches to find & a few along the country roads, we enjoyed the tour of the area that the geocachers took us to.
Such a peaceful location we decided to stay another day & have Australia Day here watching all the activity on the water
Drove a little further out of town so we didn't have to stop with the caravan on when we leave.
Nice artwork on the edge of town
Thankyou au.fait for placing this cache.

Suscoe headed out today for a caching trip to the Wahgunyah and Rutherglen area.
It was a brilliant day with delightful sunshine and a mild breeze. We think the highest temperature in the car was 27 degrees during the afternoon.
How good can it get for a May day.
We enjoyed the travels, the variety of locations and the caches.
Thanks to au.fait for this hide, a quick find for us here today.

Passing by with Snap Happy today and decided to stop by and grab this cache as we were on the right side of the road and also keen to grab a smilie or two while we were in the area. Managed to get a hand on the cache without too much trouble and added our names to the list, thanks au.fait for the story behind these unique features that l have passed many times over the past year or so but some how never decided to stop by. Ahh, y not today and so we did.
Super grey sky but very warm, these sculptures really were eye catching in the air colour!
We had a nice morning collecting a few drive buys around Yarrawonga and this was our last for the day. A nice easy find by our littlest geokid. TFTC au.fait
Easy roadside stop - the late afternoon light adding extra texture to these striking pieces of Outdoor Art.
What crazy times we are living through: we are on holiday from Springvale, VIC but our timeshare is just over the bridge at Capri Waters Country Club, NSW and so we need to apply for a border pass and cross a State Line checkpoint to go out caching for the day!

Found on a Sunday cruise around the country side picking up a few odd caches that fill holes in one challenge or another that I am quietly working on.
This one fills a slot in my "360⁰ from home" challenge (a projectgc thing), anyway....
That's Y I'm here.

Found with the now usuall covid safe practices. [^]

As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Karen

Many cache owners are already aware: As per Groundspeak guidelines, I am claiming find because physically found under TeamOzcat. I undertake this not for disinterested statistical purposes, but because of inability to revisit this cache, and/or because it's so damn confusing when viewing the local district geocache maps. I sincerely thank all CO's for time and effort in placement of their caches. Cheers Reg.
Dunno how we missed this having it been here for so long. Alas, TeamOZCAT got it now. Ty AF
Recently moved to the area. Picked this up on a quick drive around. Followed Covid guidelines (mask, hand sanitiser, etc).
