Can owner please check if still here! Been here a few times with selb0t and we haven’t seen it!
Decided to start the "Hanging in the Park series, but with no luck! We searched and searched, either we are all blinds as bats, or its gone lol! Will try again another day I guess!
Three DNFs before I got here, all occasioned by the presence of or arrival of muggles. I was mighty glad to be able to tick this off! Easy parking nearby and nobody about. Good coordinates and it took just a minute to spot the cache. TFTC
Find #2686. Early start to a 45km cycle from Korokoro end of foreshore to Eastbourne, up to Waiwhetu and return to start. Mostly calm day a gently rising northerly as the day progressed. Early start meant few people around making hunting easy. Not quite hanging but resting in the crook of the branch so rehung. SL TFTC
Man this one had me walking in circles several times, but finally made the grab. TFTC!
Tried looking for this earlier in the year with no luck, but only took 5 minutes this time. TFTC!
Found straight away when approached from the right angle. Will now explore the rest of the park.
I took my dog out for a walk at the park this evening. It was really quite dark and I didn't take a torch, but I had a go at finding this one by the light of my mobile phone. Then when I found it I had to try and write in the log while holding the mobile between my teeth. Sorry if my writing is a little difficult to read.
Thank you

We went for a walk from the park along the Waiwhetu Stream, up Summit Road back down the Te Whiti Riser and found this one as we passed. The Stream is with all the clearing and planting work done largely by volunteers looking really great. TFTC
Its back first to sign new log book now not so much hanging up in the trees... TFTC 123
I've looked and looked
I found this a few years ago but it seems to have vanished as it ain't where it used to be unless I'm going mad

Nice little hide. Cache in good condition.
Brought out here to see family, catch the concerts, and go caching.

Parked for a break, after filling up our waterbottles for the holidaytrip south. Hoped to do some caching around here, but the stiff warnings of the dogs did decide that we only keep it with this one.
Lots of exercising canines about. Great hide. TFTC

The proliferation of favourite points encouraged Kjwx and I to head out for an after dinner spot of caching with geohound Coca. It was getting dark by the time we reached GZ and just as we were starting a small disagreement about which tree to focus on, I spotted the excellent camo. Very nicely done! TFTC
This was a very nice cache!!! We would like to find more of those... FP garantied Greetings from "good old Europe"
My eyes must be sharper as when I pulled up I thought well I've been here before. Gps had me all over one minute I was 45m then 164m . Eventually found the intended but had to bide my time until friends of what whet finish picking up rubbish nearby. Spotted quickly. SL.
Best camp I've seen by far. This will need a keen eye and there is a clue in the name.
Tried this one some time ago but the cache was missing. But success tonight with a quick find using super stealth- at night with no torch. Great to have this one in hand. TFTC.
Two tough caches in a row. This one done with Crystal Fairy, Astro Hunter and MycroMan. Thanks for the challenge!
Cache # 946
Cache # 946
Did with Crystal Fairy, Violet Butterfly and MycroMan. Had been here early in the day but too many cricket players around. No one around later in the afternoon. Thanks.

Nicely done. Took a few looks to spot this one. Last cache of the day. Thanks for the cache. Did with MycroMan, Astro Hunter and Violet Butterfly
A nice quite day at the park, which was lucky as it took me a while to find this one. Great camo
We were driving through the area, and sought out a cache on the map that was off a street.
The hide was a surprise, very well disguised.

#467. We stopped by and had a initial look for the sister cache nearby but couldn't see anything obvious. Decided to come back another day when we had more time available for the search. So headed across the park to the GZ for this cache. This one immediately looked more promising and the nicely camoed cache was spied within a minute. Had to wait for a few dog walkers to pass by then it was a quick sign and off to playground for Miss L. TFTC
Excellent camo on this one - had to do two laps of GZ before I realized what was going on. TFTC !
Surprised at how quickly I managed to find this given how nervous I was when rereading through some of the old logs. TFTC Drawp #7278
Superb hide! took a fair whack of time looking for what I thought would be there only to find something else totally unexpected

Saw this cache when it was published and decided that I would go and give it a go when I needed a cache. Decided to try and have a look for this cache a few months back and had a bit of an issue as I wasnt able to find the cache, decided to go and check it out with another pervious finder when we were both in the area, but unfortunately both of us couldn't find it and after this visit we noted a few DNF logs started showing up, so decided to keep an eye on this cache and try it again once I saw that it was ready again.
Finally saw that the cache was replaced this week and thought that I would go and check it out when I was passing though, as luck would have it I had to come though to the Hutt early this morning to set up a display so I decided that since there was enough daylight I would go and grab this cache before I headed to the Hutt for work.
Arriving near GZ as I have being here a few times before looking for this cache as well as the one other cache that use to be here. Arriving at GZ I noted that the place was muggle free so it was very easy to search GZ and I soon spotted a likely suspect and on closer inspection noted that this was the cache.
Finally managed to get this cache off my list of unfound caches, thanks for replacing the cache and placing this cache here and bringing me back to this lovely park again, TFTC TNLNSL (8542)

Cache # 2,181 - Finally knocked the b*****d off! 4th trip - it helps that this is the first time I have been to the site and there has been a cache to find. Saw that the CO had replaced this a couple of days ago and took my first opportunity to get over here, even though it meant a 30 minute detour on the way to work. Very well hidden cache! No muggles around at 6:15 am. Expected a blank logsheet, and was a bit surprised to not find one. Yeetrees signed the log without a date, so obviously sometime between replacement and my finding it. TFTC drawp!
After spending a lot of time at this one before, only to find the cache missing, I thought I would return. A number of cachers had found it since the replacement went in, including a nearby cacher recently. Showed up tonight and spent a few minutes looking before being "muggled" by cats and dragons looking for the same cache. 15 minutes later I phoned the friend who had recently found it, explaining that it looked like tree trimming had taken place. They came out and confirmed our suspicions - the cache is gone again with the trimming. Where it had resided originally is gone, and the new location is also gone.
#5757. Returned to hang around a bit longer ... eventually found ... very well hidden. Even though it was the type of hide expected, it still took considerable bit of spotting ... and from the right angle to locate. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Finally after many attempts and a very pointed clue from a fellow cacher we got it, very clever hide earns a favourite point from us. TFTC

FOUND IT!!!!!!!!
Gosh this was a tricky wee blighter to find! Thanks to a nudge in the right direction from the CO and the keen eyes of Skaga, we managed to track the elusive thing down. Love the container! TFTC

#1175 It's always nice to return to a DNF and find the sucker! Even on the second attempt, it took quite awhile to spot it. Really thought it wasn't here! Thanks for the cleverly camo'd cache- deserving of a fave point and well deserving of its difficultly rating!
Had a look here with Nic-jay this evening and had a very thorough look- no joy tonight. Don't think it's there anymore. Needs replacing or archiving.
Hate to be logging a DNF 'cos we suspect that it probably is there, but we did spend quite a while hunting with no joy!
Have looked for this a couple of times since it was re enabled but no joy, I suspect it's just eluding us, will wait to see if others have better luck.
The fourth visit to see if I could spot this one after it had been unarchived - the last couple of times have been with others to act as extra eyes. Lucky it is close to home! I have tried for this in the daytime as well as at night with a really good torch. I really don't think it is there. Will keep watching and see what happens.
The park was empty on a Saturday morning ... perhaps due to the rain. No luck in finding anything hanging at GZ.
All up and running again. Please take care when replacing the cache that it cannot easily be seen and therefore muggled.
With 4 logged DNFs in a row it would appear that the owner needs to check on this and confirm that either the cache is there or it has gone missing.
No buffalo's found today. Checked the NZ native and the nearby woodwork but no joy. Even the monkeys (aka geo-kids) had no luck. Another day.
No joy for me today. Spent 20 minutes looking, and pretty much narrowed down where it had to be. Even looked on the other side of the stream, which would have put the cache out more than 20 metres. Suspect it is gone, but will watch to see if someone else finds it.
Hate to say it but this one eluded me and I knew what what to expect and look for. So unless it's higher than 8 feet it may be missing. Will watch with interest.
