I have removed the cache from RZ so this cache is no longer in operation. Have archived / deleted it.
Council replaced the first clue so with another plaque. Listing no longer valid and have recovered the box.
It's been a while since we were last up this way so we decided to remedy that with an afternoon of caching.
Started at GZ then got confused from then on. Gave it a miss as there were others we could be getting in the time left this arvo. Bumped into Grub Fred's BIL and had a little chat. Thanks anyway stryker56

Headed back to the Nelson Bay area, to pick up a few more caches.
We visited lots of lovely beaches & bushland, where we found a good variety of hides.
Enjoyed the walk along the foreshore, picking up the clues.
Clue 6 had us stumped, as the locals used the area to dump their many tree clippings.
We counted what we could see, and it seemed to work out ok.
At GZ, the cache was located quickly, signed and replaced.
Many thanks for placing this cache, stryker56, for us and others to find.

On the windy day we were overcome by 'the spell' from stryker56 and we were mystified by this mystery cache n it had to be solved

Finally we get to cross this one off the list, this is our second attempt at this cache, we started from scratch with Chippyroo and worked our way through, in case we miscalculated last time. But as we made our wat towards the end we had trouble with the same spot. But luckily a PAF made things all clear, once the error was corrected we made our way to GZ where after a short search we came up trumps. Tftc.

Team Senz and ourselves made our way through the way-points having a nice stroll, gathering all the infromation along the way. We got to the seat and made ourselves comfortable and began our calculations but something was off as we we over 1km away and that didn't meet the description. A PAF gave us some handy information and this led us to fixing our error in our maths and we were son back on track. A short search in the enchanted woods yielded the cache which was dutifully signed and replaced.

Had a look for this one on Thursday and got all of the clues, in fact too many clues. Sat on the bench and admired the view while we checked the numbers. We were one and a half km away! The second attempt had us onl 175 metres away so off into the bush, found heaps of likley places but there was still somthing wrong. As it was getting late we went home to do a re-calc. Next day we re-visited clue two and came up with four possibilities and bingo! we were on the money in no time at all.
TFTC stryker56 we think you deserve a favourite point.

Tftc but we got bitten by a nest of bull ants so ne really careful it hurts a lot
This was a fun cache to do. Overthought clue 6, (we found an extra one near the bench) which put us out a bit from final co-ords... so widened our search & saw something unusual. Marked waypoint & saw our error. But we found it anyway! Yay! SLTN TFTC
Arrived at the first info point and easily got the first bit. Moved onto the next WP and struggled to understand what was really needed here, so I counted up the required things and came up with a number?????. On to the next WP and I kind of already knew what this number would be. Loved the idea of the things here. Onto WP 3 and I had a little giggle here at the fruit tree. Who thinks of these things???? Onto the next and I completely missed what I was looking for and it wasn't until I realised that I was at the next WP that I had to return and find info. Ummm what do I look for here, holes in rocks but which one??? I wrote down what I thought was the right answer.
So after writing down the co ordinates and punching them into the GPS that something was wrong as the GPS had GZ, 4 km away. So now this puzzle now became a puzzle in a puzzle. So I checked the co ordinates of where I was standing and could work out where I had gone wrong. So I change a few numbers around and got something that made sense. GZ was now a short walk away. Upon entering the enchanted forest, I could see why this is a special place. Found the cache with the spot on co ordinates and replaced as found. Thanks Stryker 56 for bringing me here .
Cheers

Took us a few goes to get but eventually got it......... Thanks Dad......
This was a very inventive cache, really well constructed. Everything was clear, although at the end I had to look again for a better value for B, as I had not been observant enough on the first pass. I really liked the location of GZ, it did have an enchanted feel. I hope stryker56 was not personally responsible for those crazy "artworks", we certainly had a laugh. We took the 2 TBs to rebuild our collection, having left the rest elsewhere today. Thanks for a great puzzle/multi cache, definitely the most fun we had today and memorable.
2nd attempt, now with the correct numbers and found quite OK even with such dense tree cover, left two Geocoins, TFTC stryker56!!
Thanks Fred for mentioning this. I have clarified the clue to mention that the "SPECIAL ROCK" is within 5 meters of the Pixie Round Rock Village. Hopefully this will clear up any future confusion.
Enjoy

Missed out on this one today and contacted Marcus Vitruvius to find out where I went wrong and the problem is that there is a rock on the shore near the "fruit tree" with two perfect holes in it and this is not the rock, I did see the correct rock first but the terminology had me a bit confused so when I found the other one I felt sure that was it.
Now that I'm clear with this, I'll be back next weekend for round 2. Had fun with the rest though and it is a nice place alright.

I happened to be heading to Nelson's Bay today with Darwinian, and on a look around the area to see what caches there were to do...I saw that this one still hadn't been found. We started off down the path, and worked our way through the clues without too much trouble, and soon plotted GZ. Once there, the coords led us to a nice little spot...and with coords that were spot on...the cache was soon in hand. For a first cache, this is well put together. We enjoyed the walk, and the cache.
