We stopped here and made a quick find and the wandered out onto the bridge to have a look at the gorge. Fortunately the traffic was light today so we were un disturbed until almost back off the bride. TFTC.
Spending a few days in the Oxley Wild Rivers N.P. at Tia Falls and Apsley Falls. Beautiful countryside & deciduous trees in their bright green spring coat, reminds me of my birth country England - probably why they call this region New England. TFTC
I found this cache as I headed home to Adelaide after the QOGM events around Longreach. The plan was to be away for about a month. I travelled up to Longreach via Broken Hill, Cunnamulla, Charleville and Barcaldine, camping and finding caches of interest along the way. I am heading back home via Brisbane and the NSW coast to Sydney, then across to Adelaide. However my plans are pretty loose and subject to change, often on a whim! The weather so far has been good, albeit a little warm at times. I am hoping it stays good for the rest of the trip.I have had to be quite selective with the caches I have found as there are so many that I am passing. As a result I have mostly targeted non-traditional cache types, although I have also grabbed a few Trads opportunistically here and there. Thanks touty78 for the cache, which has contributed to an interesting and enjoyable trip.
DNF. Phone GPS struggled to give me a accurate location of cache. However did find a discarded plastic container, possibly the cache I couldn't find. See photo.
While staying at Wachope we decided to head up to Walcha for the afternoon, but we missed judged the time it would take to travel as we arrived late in the afternoon, so a quick few caches were found, a counter meal for tea and then headed back to Wachope, yep a big afternoon drive we had!
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We drove from Port Macquarie to Walcha today, in rain of varying intensities for 80% of the day. When we set off this morning, it was pouring, and we wondered if we'd find anything, but were pretty stoked with our eventual haul of 26 finds.
Quick and easy here, about time! Slightly different to the usual guarded cache, no probs here... TFTC!

Day 52 of our southern trip. Travel home day 4. We should have been home by now but the Pacific Highway is cut twice by floodwaters, whice means we go South, then across to the New England Highway to get home to Logan.
Oh thank goodness this wasn't another micro/nano in a shelter!
Log signed and cache replaced as found on March 2, 2022. TFTC, touty78.

Back for a second shot at this one. Having read back through logs I could see I was totally looking in the wrong area so I now had a good idea where it would be and so it turned out to be. SL. Thank touty78

Just had a look at Google Satellite and I could see I was looking in totally wrong area. Seems it was in a more obvious hide some distance away that I even thought about checking but discounted as I thought it was "too obvious"! Another Doh! I'll definitely be back as the roads are fantastic on a bike, which I was.
I had a shot at this one but there was no phone reception and I hadn't loaded my Garmin which I thought I had left back at the Mt Seaview Resort where I was staying. I discovered later that the Etrex was in my pocket all along and I could have loaded the coordinates off the phone onto it it. Doh. Anyway I had a look around some likely places but all I could see at this rest stop was used toilet paper. Ugh! Can't some people wait 5 minutes until they get to town? Thanks anyway touty78
A quick and easy find as we slowly worked our way towards Wauchope for tonight's camp.
Plenty of room to stop while towing the caravan. Thanks for the cache and a reason to walk around. All’s good here.
Cheers and happy caching!

Confusing coordinates led us to the middle of the road. Looked all around the fence and couldn’t find it.
Quick find here despite coordinates pointing to the middle of the road.
Thanks for the cache

On our way to Tamworth we stopped to find this cache - it was pretty dark and a bit cold, but the cache was found with the aid of the headlights of the car.
Thanks touty78.
Thanks touty78.
Cacheis missing due to RMS maintenance. Replacement cache in place now. Happy hunting
Coordinates lead to the middle of the road which didn't make sense so we didn't find it
DNF with Ozglory on our weekend away caching with the plan to do the loop from Kempsey to Uralla to Armidale and back to Kempsey.. The weather was not our friend on this trip which meant some slight change in plans, but was still a great weekend away.
No luck here today - we hunted, hunted and hunted some more. Will drop by next time we head this way.

Traveling from Port Macquarie to Walcha i stopped at few locations along the way. Having found Tia rest stop i was expecting the same here. However my GPS led me to another structure where i found the cache quickly. TFTC
Great hide. We love having a reason to stop on our travels and stretch our legs. Thanks touty78 for maintaining this cache.
Dropped off Hip Hop Frog looking for a ride to WA. TFTC collected in our way to Wauchope for the weekend.
Was lucky to get my hands on this one. By the time I was in location, I had no reception on my phone. Luckily I had kept the compass open which lead me to the general direction, as I had done some like this before, I had an idea where it was hiding. With the coach in hand and the log signed, I was soon on my way. TFTC - Docadoo
With the cold snap that came through Azmate22 and I went for a drive to Walcha to see some snow and on the way back, opted to stop in and look for caches!
This one had me at GZ pretty quickly but I almost gave up on finding the actual cache-Azmate22 had given up and was walking back to the car just as I twisted my head the right way and there it was! A quick sign and back into it's place it went! TFTC!

Was a harder find by Loryn87 found it in the end... Didnt help that the sleat was raining down and the wind had kicked up
The first on my mission to Uralla. Found at about 9am. There was a prime mover parked at the other end of the carpark, so I managde to get my car between him and GZ.

We had such a great time at the mega in Stanthorpe. Sadly it is now time to make our way towards Sydney, and back home to Canada. Picking up a few caches as we go.

Found pretty quickly on a drive out from walcha. If you're not in a hurry the impressive Stoney Creek Falls are a few hundred meters away, instructions on how to find them can be found online if you google 'stoney creek falls Walcha'. Thanks!
Another easy find on a beautiful quiet Sunday morning. Cache in good condition. Took nothing, left keyring and Navy pin. TFTC
