Find#2529After a brief look I called a previous finder for a hint. I was looking on the ground when the cache hit me in the chest. Log is damp TFTC
We looked for over an hour and couldnt find it and we looked around the whole area.
A good walk with tech savvy and Goldberry. A bit of an adventure, finding the right way in, but once we got there, the Eagle eyed Goldberry strikes again. We were led in by the tall tech savvy and it was hard work keeping up with her. Worth a favourite. TFTC
What a great spot to hide it! The start of the walk was tiring but the last part was easier underfoot and very pretty - thanks for placing a cache here
TFTC and a nice find in a lovely area. I misinterpreted the hint but luckily Goldberry found it for us. My friend 2 Pods said I lead the way in but what he didnt say was I was using a crutch due to a bad hip problem and a lump that was removed on my good leg. So I was in pain but I wouldnt let the rocks on the distance stop me. I was a tad sore when I returned but it was great to be out geocaching.
Found it on the ground in the open, 12m out, so walked it to 0m, and back where it should be, thanks for the hide
Great little spot, been walking through here for years and never knew. TFTC family loved searching together
That’s what I needed, a nice and quiet walking! To make it better, when checking around the tracks, 2 kangaroos hopped just a few meters in front of me. Thanks Spartman for placing Road to Nowhere!

Had a very fun walk in the middle in nowhere; thought that I was going to get kidnapped. Replaced the paper.
Seems water has got into the container and ruined the log. Needs maintenance. Couldn’t find the way to drive all the way, but of bush bashing with the kids turned up the goods. I wonder how long before all this is under houses. Thanks for bringing us here.
Zigzagged from one track to another to finally make the find. Log is wet and requires maintenance

Found with shaneo58 in the second half of winter, getting up near the 20's deg, and only needed a shirt most of the day. This was certainly a lot harder then when placed as we had to navigate an extra km to get around the fence making T rating up to 2.5 or 3. Once we got to GZ we had to make a big search spredding to about 10 metres to finally make the find. It turned out yo be very wet and the paper turned to muche, Signed a tine paper in pastic. Cache needs maintenace. This is the 2nd cache of 10 for today. Log signed and caches replaced as found. Thanks For The Cache Spartman

Found it with Bill Hill 531. Well that was a litte harder than first thought .Construction work being done laying pipes. Log is saturated and needs maintaince. Paper added to sign. Coords a litte bit out but keep looking. TFTC spartman.
Yay! Awesome adventure given all of those roads in the map are future roads and road blocks/construction fences are everywhere.
Log wet and completely ruined.
Tip for those trying to find - take road along railway to gate. Walk past power station and use GPS to turn right.
Then you come to heaps of construction fences that you’re going to need to navigate to get through. Then follow GPS.

Found on my way home after work. I was supposed to walk today, but an accident in the morning made me late, so I came here in the afternoon for a walk. Drove down the road next to the train station, to the gate. Walked, found a track, followed it. Bush bashed. Found the cache, which was a tissue for a log (hope it was unused), but otherwise fine. Followed the bigger track out. Leading to the end of the schools road, then had to back track behind houses to get to my car. This was my closest unfounded cache to work for a long time. As I walk the track on the other side of the railway most days to work. This was the first time I have seen a kangaroo around here, and have been walking here for nearly two years. Also saw some rabbits.
Thanks for the walk and cache!
Thanks for the walk and cache!
So we tried to get to parking this no access now. All roads on maps are future road. We parked at end of railway road then did the walk in. Would be good if gate was open. I think this cache page needs updating. In 2014 it was a driving track. But not now. Parking WP needs to be taken off.ince at GZ THE CACHE WAS QUICKLY FOUND.when walking from railway street go right into bush at railway power station building.
Took my 5 year old with me but think we might have started off in the wrong spot. Where should you start the walk??
The coordinates were a little bit off (only about 5m) which makes me wonder whether it has been moved from the original location. The cache inside the log is ruined, it is wet and unsignable. It would be greatly appreciated if the next person to find the cache could replace the log with a clean blank piece of paper so a new log can be started.

The Geowife is hightailing it up the Central Coast for a few days - as is her wont at this time of year. I'll be at the Sydney cricket Test starting Thursday - as is my wont!
So today I thoughtfully offered to drive her up. Then I could spend the rest of the day caching in an area that I haven't cached out!
In the end I went for sixteen and managed to find the lot. Quite a few had medium walks through the bush attached to them - thus upping the average quality level of the finds.
Then the late drive home, having told Geosons #1 & #3 to arrange their own dinner. Win / Win / Win today!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Well, it was a nice walk along a road next to the railroad tracks (only boggy in two places) as I came from *swampanobbi*.
And then a big loop to get to GZ via the tracks. Made it finally.
But where is it? My iPhone was wandering quite a bit - did that at a number of caches today, to be honest.
Circled the most likely area a few times and just spotted the cache lid. Gotcha!
Completed signing duties and replaced. Unfortunately the log is a solid blob. Like a previous finder I signed the ziplock bag (which of course will probably run off) as it was all that was signable).
Then took a more straight line bush bash way back to the "road", and then to *The Hademobile*.

This needs updating , no log book no note no cache , still waiting to find better cache
Came for a wander with the geofamily and loved this place. Would be awesome with some mountain bikes. After a quick look CIH. Please note the log was wet and dirty and requires maintenance
One of my last days in the area before moving on.
So time to find those caches I have missed.
A quick find here after a nice walk from the nearby northern cache.
Thanks for the cache.

Decided to spend Oz day caching in the Wyong area.
Decided to walk this one but really should have driven to avoid the sun and flies. Would have been much easier - and very much quicker. There was water in the container and log was wet. Still able to sign with our special pen. Thanks Spartman

Road(s) to nowhere indeed! Had a great little explore around, thanks for bringing me here.
The weather wasn't sure whether it was Winter or Spring today, but I managed to catch most of the sunshine on offer.
Thanks for putting a cache here, was a nice quick find too allowing for plenty of time to wander about.
Cheers

Decided to attack some of the caches around the Lake Macquarie area and found 17. Some of the caches we were able to get the GEOLUX right up close, while some we had to walk. Had a great day out but had to call the day early when the rain set in.

A quick find after taking a detour off the highway whilst on the way to a job in Wyong. Enjoyed the walk. Cache and log a bit damp but surviving. TNLN TFTC
“I now have my own account and I am logging this old find under my new username.”
While on a walk in the area I found a Cache & it's contents scattered on the ground. Have not yet found where it came from as I proceeded to locate both this & 'I want to go rock', both were intact. Signed each log. TFTC
Good walk through the bush to the cache. I think i went the long way but that made it so much better. Found with @youcanhavemoore
Long walk with the grandkids. One happy 7yr old boy found it without really looking for it!!! Enjoyed the area. Thanks for a great cache!!
Good hide

Out for a ride today to see if I could find the railway station. As I have just moved up here Im still exploring the in and outs of the local area and what a better way to do it then geocaching. Had been near this area acouple of days ago and thought can I ride my bike down to here. Pity about the last bit was on road and its a goat track sort of road as well. Got to gz after finding the railway and then read the hint and went right ok there it is. Found quickly in a lovely area. Had a explore trying to get other caches in the area. Just ended up nearly going on the run way. Ok I will make another approach to that cache. Got very muddy and had lots of fun on the bike ride. TFTC
Popped down here with madroosterman, cache is still in place and in good condition. Happy hunting!
HI it is me agan today im going to talk to you abot spartmans cache i found this at 11:00 with spartman anywho good spot good hide good place

Could not locate this gem. Looking at the last log it has been 6 months since last found so maybe it has been moved by a muggle or the heavy rains. Someone should hv a look
I kept away from doing this one till the dogs needed a good run. So today we packed up the push bikes and pooches and off we went! They had lots of fun running like crazy and sloshing through the huge mud puddles on the way. Made lots of work for me when we got home hosing them and the bikes down. We didn't encounter any motorbikes today just a nice little cache. TFTC Spartman
Whew, that felt a long walk in the heat of today. Twice had to lay low and hide from motor bikes zipping in and about the tracks here. Found several interesting Fungi on this adventure, see pics.

After parking at the gate some 950 metres away North, I followed the GPS pointer in the general direction of GZ. There were heaps of chook chasers running around but they kept away from my trajectory so all good. Had a look at the sat view on the phone and headed into the scrub closing in on GZ. With perfect coords the hide was an easy find.
SL thanks for bringing to another place I would never have otherwise ventured to.
SL thanks for bringing to another place I would never have otherwise ventured to.
We wanted a walk after the rain and this looked OK. I had planned a route in with Google Earth, and that worked out well, even though the area has changed a lot with all the clearing. A fallen sign declared we were in the Warnervale Federation Park, but it will need a lot of work before deserving such a fancy name. GZ appeared to be on an old trotting training track, and we soon held the cache. Thanks to Spartman for a good cache and walk, just what we needed today.
Today beautiful cool... Great walk to track 800mts to found cache.... We saw white car crash on the ground near cache hide.... Thank Spartman...
FTF which track to take is the question. After a round about excursion it was an easy find in the end. TFTC.
