Found on my bike ride with a bit of a detour. Didnt have a pen so took photo instead. Tftc.
Found it, had to do a bit of bush finding, but eventually found it! It has not been found for a while but I took a risk. TFTC!!
There is a souvenir up for grabs for Blue Switch Day 2024, so we just had to find a cache today to earn it. We had a look around for a nearby cache and this one fit the bill. Not too far away, easy to find, and most importantly, unfound by us. So, off for a walk went Mr. Kiwi in search of this trad.We had looked for this cache before, but judging by previous attempts, we were way short of finding it. This time, it was the right place that we were searching. After coming to a place outside the bush next to GZ, it was time to plunge in. Looking for a geo-trail, there wasn't really one there, so a little bit of bushwhacking and we were in. Now to hone in on GZ, after all, it wasn't far away. Soon, the two items mentioned as markers were spotted, and then the cache was also spotted. A quick and easy find today to grab the souvenir.A trackable was also dropped in the cache.TFTC
Spent more time figuring out how to break through the first line of bushes than actually finding the cache. All good here.TFTC!
Have replaced the cache and updated the description and hint.Original container was at GL under natural camo, new container is now off the ground (hint shows the estimated height off the ground), attached with cable ties to something wooden. 'can't see the wood for the trees' ... something like that. At time of replacing there seems to be an unusual brick-shaped object on the ground nearby, this is nothing to do with the cache. There is a fallen tree nearby, perhaps 1 or 2m from the cache. Hope this helps. Happy hunting!
Whewf! Bit of bush bashing due to a fallen tree but found it in the end when gps stopped jumping around. A fun adventure with Mr11 while Miss7 is at a Cheer clinic TFTC
Great hide. Coordinates were spot on. I love what was in the catche, don't see many that remind users of the rules.
We absolutely love this walking around this trail and having caches to find is awesome too.
TFTC!
TFTC!
TFTC - second find today on the last day of lock down #4. Met fellow geocachers along the way
Found. Hint: Black
Also if you have a phobia of bugs or creepy crawlies might be harder to find.

Took awhile to find, the log book is a little wet. Thanks was well hidden. Hint: it’s black
Updated the description and added a hint. The cache is all safe, under some natural camo. All good to go.
Very awesome cache! Couldn't find it at first and was worried it was archived (I don't really know what that means) but it's still there TFTC
Nice day of caching in Howick today. My goal was to collect several mystery caches I had previously solved and also to grab some of the traditionals nearby.
Greenkiwikid No 2 accompanied me today, which was very nice and especially useful when it came to climbing situations... (not in this cache though)
Nice and easy hide. Took TB. Tftc

Found the hare trackable in here, tis pretty cool to see where it's been and going to! TFTC!
Thought this one was going to be trickey given the terrain however GPS was spot on and was a very quick find. Log is very damp and replacement recommended. Miss 9 left behind a little toy for the next finders
Tyfc, this afternoon stroll is becoming very rewarding. That was 4th cache in a few hours
After exploring one side of the creek we read a few of the finds and ventured to the other side didn't find unfortunately.. not really suitable for Mr 5 as cliff isnt fenced maybe we'll be back with just Evange to find this one.
We were unable to determine a good access spot that matched the terrain and didn't attempt as opposed to DNF. A waypoint for access or parking coords would help those who do not live in the area.
Team BOP hit the Waikato area until we got bored with Hamilton. We decided to head to Auckland at 10:30pm for a bit of night caching. We kept going until 3:30am and decided we better return home to Tauranga before we got too tired.
It was the middle of the night, or later, and the grass was very heavily dewed, so we all got very wet feet.
The hide and terrain should be much higher than stated as it took a while to find.
The cache was found and signed quickly.

With a break in the weather this was the perfect weekend for geocaching. I had no plans so with the help of TNXPro and Squirrelnutcase we sought out a worthy adventure heading West to help Squirrel clear his map. What no one knew at the time was this adventure would morph to span 21 hours, cover 3 regions and we'd have Davidson clan join us at the half way point just in time for the Auckland leg of our journey. A crazy day with Team BOP but there's no denying - it's a lot more fun with friends!
With the sun well and truly gone we had the place to ourselves which was good but the wet grass really tested our "waterproof" footwear. The cache was found in good condition but took much longer then it should have. Cheers fun2seek, TFTC

With (Mr) Davidson clan, Philip.Perry, and TNXPro...
Our caching adventure quickly morphed into an all night mission in East Auckland. We were looking for an area with a good spread of caches that didn't require a lot of driving from point to point. Botany Town seemed perfect... As with most nighttime missions, cache finds quickly become a blur as there is not much to focus on other than making the find. My lasting memory of tonight will be enjoying the company of our group, mixed with very cold, wet feet from walking across boggy ground.
It was difficult to navigate across soft, boggy soil and slippery hillside. There were lots of search possibilities and it took time to locate. TFTC.

Had to battle my spider phobia on this one. Had a search around for a while but saw nothing so expanded our search field. Found it approx 5m away from where location was pointing. I love the dinosaur inside it. Tftc
I think that I parked at the worst possible place and so it took me ages to hike to GZ on foot. I had grabbed a few caches near here right back when I first started geocaching back in 2015, and I remember moving to try and find this one but on the way to GZ we called it off as it had just gotten dark and we didn't have a light. Since then I have often thought about returning to find this one but had never gotten around to do it until today. So once I arrived at GZ, I really overthought it and made it a lot harder that it had to be. And when I was about to give up... there it was. So thank you fun2seek for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. Nice!
Longish walk on long grass. Fortunately the edges have sort of been cut. GPS spot on even with the tree cover. Nice easy find at GZ.
Long walk through saturated early morning long dew-covered grass. Found it after a quick search scuttling around under the trees. Nice container, all dry and signed. Nice quiet spot for an urban area. TFTC
Was a little concerned with no hint but what do you know walk straight up to it TFTC
Out in the Eastern Suburbs again this weekend with Merlot58 and Aiden29. Traipsed our way here hoping like crazy we were just on the right side of the stream. Fortunately we were and we soon had the cache spotted. The long grass was so wet that our boots were almost full of water from the rain that the grass held.
Once again I was out in East Auckland with Jag50 and Aiden29 collecting more caches. The long grass was very wet and boggy after the recent rain so we had very wet feet and pants by the time we reached GZ. No problems with the find then we headed back through the long grass
Returned out this way with Jag50 and Merlot58 today. Once we sussed out which side of the creek to be on, we headed off through the long, very wet grass. It wasn't long before our lower halves were drenched. Mr Jag50 made the quick find here.
Was looking for ages but finally found it about 5m away from where the locator said great spot tho not where I thought it would be had fun with my dog,
thanks
thanks
Thought might be tricky with no clue.....but it was partly exposed ...so quick find !
Thanks guys !
Thanks guys !
Nice quiet muggle free spot. Had. Bit of a hunt as the GPS got confused under the trees but soon righted itself and put me right on the cache.
Finally pleased to have got around to look for this one. Good excuse to take the dog for a walk in a new sniffing area. Found quite quickly - thank you.
After doing a few other caches in the area, it was nice to have one that wasn't in a high traffic area! TFTC
TFTC. Nicely hidden. Took "freezing" GC & "Zhu/Bamboo the Panda" cache buddy. Will move them on after the long rest they've had.
After reading the earlier logs, I am pleased to confirm that everything (logs and goodies) are safely hidden and very dry. TFTC TNLNSL
Went shopping at btc today so on the way home we thought we would stop in and sign the real log. Found the real deal and we were going to remove the imposter but glad to see it was already gone. Dropped a tb.
With the last 5 finders commenting on the state of the cache I checked this out today (3/5/2015). What I found is that the cache is in excellent condition, the log book is dry (I made in entry in it with a pencil - no problem), the swap items are all in good condition and the trackable is still in the cache. The interior of the cache dry.
I don't know what the previous cacher's found; definitely not this cache because this cache condition is very good.
Also note that the image in the gallery IS NOT this cache - I don't know how to delete it

Quick find- as previously mentioned, needs maintenance, log soaking wet and just looks like a container with some rubbish in, too wet to sign.
Found with my Mum, NewlynFam. Have now created my own account so am logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
Out puzzle caching with beconaze and getting this one as a bonus. Log too wet to sign, and no trackable here. TFTC.
