Cache was exposed some one removed brick that was sitting on it. Cache had water inside, tried to dry the best we could but everything really damp, still managed to sign unfortunately we didn’t have any dry bags or dry paper to replace so placed back the best we could. Brick back in place. TFTC
A quick easy find with the hint, although for us the cache was 8 metres southeast of the coordinates at S46 20.804 E168 09.126. TFTC
Log replaced. I’m guessing it probably went missing during a period of heavy rain.
After a bit of a break from caching I am catching up on my logging that I hadn't finished due to various reasons, mainly procrastinating.
Down for a few days visiting rellies, a bit of a day out looking for caches with the father in law.

Got this an snagged and tagged on the way past. Cheers..
Wednesday 28 October. Its Burts LAB today taking me to Oreti Beach then over to Riverton. Lets go Toby!
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Well I needed some fresh air. Perhaps bringing the mini down these gravel roads was not the best idea. Scraping the exhaust on the deep gravel.
A quick runaround before dark, discovered this cache in the likely place where I had logged my previous DNF. On perusing the logbook found it interesting that there were multiple logs by cachers over the last 3 or 4 years hmm..Anyways a smiley for me now won't need to return tftc
Followed the hints and dnf. Read the last few logs and discovered the cache on the ground again. SL the dry log and gave the night cream jar a wipe out. Do magnets loose their strength or is the hide too rusty?? Needs another magnet. Concrete might take a bit to shift in the possie now or is someone disturbing the cache for their own gain? tftc
Heading down to Monkey Island and Clifden for the last two caches I need for the Old School Challenge. A bit of a detour here and spent quite some time looking to no avail. Hopped into car and spotted something on the other side and sure enough it was the cache TFTC
Found after a short search, we have never been out this way before. I saw some pretty horses on the roadside on the way to the cache. TFTC
Never been out here before. Ended up being an easier cache to find than shan made it. TFTC.
**On safari - tracking down hidden creature trophy heads to hang in the hunting lodge gallery.***Cache found on ground down below. Goods dry and returned to hide but needs another magnet. Not the first time this has happened before. Luckily it's easily spotted in the long grass.*___ Found 24 Sep 15 Bridge caches, goodie goodie gumdrops. Quick find here for a smilie. Watched a trout in the river for a short time until it spotted me and then burgered off. It must be wery wary of visitors to the bridge. Great walk out to the mouth, definitely recommended at low tide if you want dry feet. TFTC [8]
#4846. I have been in Southland for a week on a work trip but all that time was spent in Fiordland. I now have two days off and time to grab as many caches as I can find. Hired a rental car and set off on the adventure in glorious warm, sunny, dry, summer-like weather. Bit of a detour here off the main drag to pick up this isolated cache. Parked by the bridge and went looking. Guessed the hiding spot but was still in the last place checked. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for the cache Gemopal2.
In town, so a few more smilies today.
Took the detour in to grab this one as it is/was in my 5 closest to home.
Didn't take long to find it once I was at GZ just happened to look at the right angle.
Been a scorcher of a day, so finding a shady place to park was a bonus.
Thanks for the smilie.

muggled by a keen white baiter.. although i think he might be dreaming with the water levels today. All dry in the cache tftc
Cash had been washed out of its usual spot; found it in the grass below and returned it to where the clue suggests it should be. Tftc!
Took a while to find, we were looking everywhere lol. No trackable here though.
Found. Funnily, not in the first place I looked, but the last place. Thanks for the Sunday drive!
Quick easy find on our drive from Riverton to Invercargill, great spot, thanks for bringing us here.
Quick find and we put it back where we found it but not sure if it's right as the GPS said it was the other side of the road. Fits the hint though. Very slightly damp. TFTC
Found but....found under the bridge as it seems it felt from the spot it was meant to be. As there are magnets on the container we put it back to the only spot with magnets although this seems a bit water prone in heavy rain. Maybe the owner can check this cache. In general, logbook is dry and in good condition. Thanks
A quick find today while out for a bit of a drive around the roads less travelled. TFTC [^]
A delightful stream that comes complete with trout and a cache. Saw the trout and found the cache.
I saw four trout in the stream under the bridge, Mum found the cache while I looked for the trout with Nana.
This was a great cache, I loved its hiding place and we saw four trout in the stream below.

Found with Granville86a, spotted as we pulled up, very quick find, we enjoyed spotting trout in the river and then went out to the beach and gave the dogs a run and enjoyed some warm triple choclate brownie in the drizzle, nice! TFTC
Found with Chosen1978. Quickly spotted as we arrived at GZ. Great fun watching a trout in the stream, took a drive out to the beach where the dogs had a run while we snacked on a chocolate brownie (YumYum)
