Must not be my day. Couldn't find it . looked in most of the stumps . . must be a come bak cache an have betta chance.
Excellent hide. Quick and easy to find. Couldnt sign log as left writing tool behind. TFTC
Was quick once the GPS sent us in the right direction So many entrances to this area & nice to explore another one today TFTC
Like a previous visitor my gps led me to a different stump! Found by Miss Wallace today.
Last one for the day. Took a lot longer than expected. Based on GPS reading showing the cache was only 4-6m away, we spent most our time looking amongst certain stumps which weren’t the ones containing the cache. Spread the search further afield and located the cache immediately. At that point our GPS reading showed GZ as 18m or so away. Anyway the end result was a success. #1502. TFTC.
Argh long wet grass. A quick find here. Log signed b&p. Find number 4252.
Thanks for the cache Davidson clan.

Yes we are back in rotorua! Plenty of hint examples but all good. Thanks for the cache Davidson Clan.
Examples of the hint everywhere but finally found after pausing for muggles repeatedly
Great wee hide. Grabbed it before walking the treetop tour in the redwoods.
No travel bug tho

I found a fairy place in the forest.
When I came back to the stumps My gps showed me the right stump.

200 A milestone cache. Nice day before some predicted nasty weather. I am on holiday, the kids are away with grandparents so geo hound and I are off caching for the afternoon in the Redwoods, love it that I can walk with my dog.
This cache has frustrated me twice before. Was determined today. Doh relatively easy find. I was a little off with my searching the previous two times, how could I have been so wrong!! A sense of accomplishment, 4 from 4 today it is getting late and I have covered a fair bit of ground. TFTC Davidson clan.

Kool. ... awesome find... yes should've been an easy find but we'd taken a wrong turn from the last find... ask us how we did that... don't know still in holiday mode ... ha ha lol. Tftc.
Searched a few hints & found it eventually. Tftc. Sally47 dropped off gecko TB. come & discover it!
Found on an evening walkin the redwoods. Cool hide, walked straight past it first time! TFTC
So many stumps so little time. Third one revealed its treasure. Picked up a devil duck trackable. Thanks cool hide.
Out and about with Team Welsh collecting caches before leaving for our return to Auckland. T4tc
Last morning in Rotorua so Pagenz and I made an early morning trip out before having to head home. This was a nice quick find and lovely walking a little way into the forest when it is all sparkling from the overnight showers. TFTC
Was planning a big ride thru the Redwoods today but the bad weather put a stop to that, so today was drive by cache pickup day
was a quickie alright, lucky the rain had eased up a bit

Well hidden little sucker. Lol Tried this one ages ago when I was new to it. I was looking in the wrong spot. Tftc
This is to be a mighty day in the company of HKCB & 11HPG11 as we headed over from Hamilton to clean out a few caches (thirty plus) and get in a real good walk as the start of the new season takes hold. We all admit that we have all been far too quiet over the winter months, so this was a bit of a chance to make up for that. Setting out from Hamilton at 4.30am getting back at 5pm, covering approx 32km of walking tracks all in an effort to find plastic boxes hidden in the bush.
As always the day was full of laughs, long drags up hills and very weary legs at the end of it, what more could one wish for but the company of good mates, and I had that in spades. Thanks to all the cachers who took the time to place (and maintain) these caches for us to enjoy.
This was the ninteenith of the day as we made our way around the top of the lake before heading back down to the Redwood Forest and lots of walking. This was our tenth of the day in the Redwoods and a great cache it was too. 11HPG11 seemed to feel that this was one specially for her
Thanks for the cache, Thanks for the placement

Teamed up with Cats&Dragons and 11HPG11 to focus on some of higher difficulty and terrain caches in and around Rotorua, and anything else that we were going past. The day started well before the sun was up as we left Hamilton at 4.30am, and the last cache being located a little after 3pm as we all needed to be back home at a reasonable time. The day was hugely successful with all caches planned for the day being found, and as a bonus the quality of caches were really high! So a big thanks to all the CO's for the great placements. The logs were all signed with "H1C".
A quickie that took a bit longer than a quickie to find! Checked a few spots before it was located.

When Cats&Dragons and HKCB suggested a day out in Rotorua collecting some caches perhaps I should have looked harder at just how many higher terrain caches we were heading for. I was a little tired after a whole lot of walking, I was very out of practise! A nice early start, leaving Hamilton at 4.30am meant we could make the most of the day. All in all a great day out exploring Rotorua and seeing some great sights. Thanks to all the cache owners for their placements which allowed us to have a fun day out! All logs were signed as "HIC" to save room
For some unknown reason the others seemed to think I was into this sort of cache. I do like a quick find but its more about the quality of the hide rather than the speed of the find. We took our time to find this one. Didn't want to rush it, in such a great area. Soon spotted the cache and we were back on the track for more smilies

Another stunning day in Rotorua and a half day of work meant a quick dash to get some caches and earthcaches while in the area.
Parked nice and close and wandered over to GZ and was met with multiple items to search, luckily the GPS settled down and cache was found at 3rd location. Nice quick one here, cache is all good.
Thanks Davidson clan

Down in Rotorua for the weekend. A bit of caching in between activities. This one took us a wee while, trying to get the right stump. Nearly had us stumped lol. Great hide in a lovely spot. SL. TFTC.
Easy find yesterday, hidden in plane sight.
Took the Jeep trackable, and will move it along

Out for a day in Rotorua got somethings in town then headed out for the rest of the day goechaching by myself with the geodog. Not having alot of luck in the Redwoods today. Looked and looked and looked some more so no Redwood Quickie for me.
Found it just just before forestry workers arrived with sprayers to do some work nearby!
Geo Gran found this one. Thanks for placing this cache, which we found after drive to see the Blue Lake. TFTC!

This was the first cache found during nice 12 hours, 59 km long walk from Redwoods to the lake Okareka, lake Tarawera and the Tarawera trail, visiting the Hot water beach camp site and walk the trail back. Finishing again in Redwoods.
Nice and easy to find.

While the kids were at school I figured I'd make another quick trip down to our southern cousin Rotovegas.
Once I was at GZ I was spoilt for choice so the hunt began - typically, it was found in the last place I looked Not a bison tube though.
Cheers DC

Thanks for cache. Whole family looked and looked and then voila, it was there. Be sure to visit the fairy groto close by. Head direct to forest from cache, follow path you cannot miss it. Made by local brownies.
Up from chch for 1 nite. Had to do some geocaching. Be rude not to. Fanatic much lol Tftc. ended up using the hint
TFTC. A not so quickie but got there in the end. Well camouflaged. Everything very cold inside ! What a chilly day.
Great hide Apache, very well camoed! If you didn't know it was there, you just wouldn't know. Tftc
Fun little cache. Had to laugh at myself after finding this one. Half an hour of looking in every stump in the park! Great artwork on the front cover!
Another nice find on a bit of a trip up north.
First day away and mostly found caches around Taupo and Rotorua.
No problems here - soon had it spotted.

Enjoyed finding this one with the kids, luckily found it during a break in the rain. Neat camo. Tftc!
Our second to last cache of the day ... left a couple of small trades for the children. Thanks for the cache .
We are having a week's holiday in Rotorua, and today we spent the afternoon in and around the Redwoods. After doing a fair amount of walking, we were rather glad that this one was a Quickie. Thanks.

Time for just a couple of caches before heading home. Mr Geckoh too busy tracking the Coast to Coast competitors so left up to Mrs Geckoh to locate this one. Nice quick find, after a short walk. Had been a bit concerned that it might not be a quickie but it was and with it came the smile. TFTC

I found it after bouncing around from tree to tree. The GPS was sending me on a tree merry-go-round. TFTC.
Quick find the night before the Tarawera Ultra (60km run for me). Ran past here again the next morning, but had 1000 muggles with me, so though it was best done before the run, not during!
Found it at a tour with handraweil.
Thank you for that Cache.
