No rain, no work, perfect reason to go on a caching adventure! A lot of fun except one cut on the finger ad one poke into the eye. 200km in the car, which involved a slight backtrack for an unexpected errand, and 20k steps. Overall a very nice day! Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining the caches!!
This one needs a bit of attention to fix.

All was quiet when we were here. Soon found what we were looking for - the lid has gone and the log is mush so we could not sign it. We took a photo which we can send to the CO if required - I won't post the photo on here as it would be a spoiler for future finders. Thanks shannonp1 for the cache
Unable to sign as log is black mush. Cache was lying exposed at gz. Photo attached.
Cache lid is gone. Plastic bag is ripped log is black mush. Really needs a check from CO. Was lying in the open.
Found it on my first pass around the Rolleston area. I was clueless about where to look until I found what the clue was referring to, and it was a quick (but well hidden) find from there. TFTC
Note: the bag is broken and the log very water-damaged, a new container, bag, and logbook is really needed.

66 eluded me then my feet got too wet after a longish search in the drizzle so will have to return sometime.
teens were loitering near where our GPS was pointing. weather was turning and snow was imminent. to stay or to go? ...... we stayed and i pretended i needed to inspect trees. teens looked at me but didn't follow or bother too much about me. Success with cache soon found and signed. TFTC
JD and I did a quick whip around before the Signal Canada event. We managed to grab 7 caches in 30 minutes. Always fun to grab caches at speed. JD overlooked this one at first glance, than I had look since it seemed like the likely spot and voila, cache. We signed the log as Jeje. Tftc.
Out in Rolleston before the Canada day event, Injeanious and I quickly fond the cache before heading on our way, TFTC!
The lid is missing from the container but the log was still dry.

Found on a trip out of town. I spotted the 66 quite quickly, then a brief think and found it tucked away. Log dry but container not waterproof, so may not last? Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25.
Fairly easy find as don't think the cache was where it was meant to be originally.....seemed quite exposed. Nice little park for the kids. Tftc
Stopped the night in Rolleston and today we are winding our way back to Christchurch. A glorious day and ready for some quick and easy finds to boost numbers. We hoping to get to CHCH to do some Wherigos but having looked them us we decided they would eat up time too much on this trip. Gonna grab the Virtual in central CHCH though. Thanks to all who placed these caches along the way. Love the fact its easy to pull off and park. Surprised the country roads are as busy as they are. Wish we could have stay a couple of weeks and not just four days. We will return!
This was very hard for us. Didn't get the 66. Went around and around. I wanted to give up and hubby sat and pondered. He then had a lightbulb moment and went to an area, declared he found the 66. A quick scratch around and he had the find. It too way to long. The log was totally a soggy mess so we chucked it out and put in a fresh piece of paper. TFTC

Plenty of rummaging with an old and a new friend from Oz. Log too wet to sign . Tftc
#13142. This was starting to look like a DNF, but then I spied something 'interesting'. I moved it, and there was the cache! A great hide. TFTC.
Found on an expedition to Rolleston with StreetWalker, with the main objective of finding all the WPs of the mighty Rolleston Pump Station Trail, plus finding any other caches that were in the vicinity.
Luckily all quiet at GZ today so no one to look askance as a couple of people disappear into the bushes . We were scratching our heads about where the cache could be when nek minnit, SW had it in hand. A simple hide but very effective! TFTC.

After a lengthy search the guy's found it caching with team Macdonald and rayzr 2 thanks to the co
Another one that sent mrs Team_Macdonald and chiko1 to get this one to make up for the dismal effort on the last and they still couldn't find it. Rayzr2 and I headed in to have a search and made the find in a few seconds, safe to say our cacheing senses are on target today. Nice friendly dog came over from the neighbours and lay down right in front of me wanting a tummy rub so spent 10 minutes patting it.
tftc found with rayzr 2 and chiko1

Decided a day out caching was needed, so arranged to head out with Survey Base. Cache hint didn't make any sense until SB called the CO...oooooh...so it does! Cache was nicely camoed. Thanks for the cache,.
On a day in the area with 2Wombles and the hint had me confused, had talked to the CO before about this one and couldn't remember what he told me so resorted to calling the CO and soon after had the well camoed cache to hand. Thanks for the cache SNN
We had already DNFed this cache before because of kids arriving at the park mid-search. Today the park was empty and I couldnt believe how fast we found the cache. Why couldnt we do it that fast last time? Nice camo job. Thanks for the cache
On a bit of a summer Sunday geocaching mission with Max. Happy Leap Year Weekend Geocaching..reasonably qyick find dint know if the cache ia in the right place or not. signed the log and replaced as found just like my mum taught me, Thanks for bringing me here to this place, TFTC shannonp1, from Mr Cuddly Brick and Max, 28 February 2016, cache number #1229!
Saw something suspicious so had a closer look and found it! Nice little park, tftc
Great hide. Nothing like hiding something in plane sight to make it hard to find. Took far longer than it should have but needed a cache momento of our visit to stay with friends in Rolleston.
Out caching with busy paws and Geo Jessie, found after a bit of hunting. TFTC.
Took us a fair while... Was sure that the 66 meant something entirely different! Finally spotted it much closer than a metre but replaced it as we found it. CO may want to check as it has probably moved from original spot. TFTC.
It must be my 4th visit here. The GPS always wanted me a few meters away from the cache and I mistook the meaning of the hint which had me concentrating on the same but slightly wrong area on the previous visits. Had a bit of a hint from Wombles B&T in a conversation about caches in Rollerston so armed with some new info it was a nice quick find this time. Not sure how we missed it before. Cool camo and glad to finally get this one.
Quick find on a caching day in Rolleston. We wanted to do one of the nearby trails and decided to use the bicycles. So today it was cycling in Rolleston and after that the trail. Thanks for placing all the caches.
Day 5 of the Awesome Mega Adventure and Guwapo, Mama and Papa have joined the DCC crew for a days caching. Salamat!
This one was looking like a DNF, then the hint was spotted and it was only a matter of time before we were signing the log, found with the DCC2
This one had us scratching our heads but once we realised what the clue meant, cache was duly in hand. Found with the Dunedin Caching Crew (DCC2)
Labour day and the Christchurch Mega is finished so I out and about getting a few more as part of a team DCC2 before I go home tomorrow. TFTC ☺
Another great find with Just-Lookin.
Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of our MEGA trip.

Awesome! Well hidden. Took me awhile to find this one. You don't need to break anything to find it. TFTC!
A day away around the Lincoln, Rolleston, Leeston area. Had spent some time solving puzzles in preperation and managed to find quite a few too. Lots of Metal Mania (although my database didn't seem to load them all so I may have to return!), quite a few Angry Birds a handful of Mad caches and a smattering of others. Really enjoyed Drainage Hole. Thanks all for enabling an addict. Special thanks to Sveren - for the caches and for the chat when we happen to be at a cache together.
Found on our 25 day New Zealand South Island holiday.
Apologies for the late log but with little or no internet as we travelled and only super slow WiFi in van parks I decided to log all finds on my return home.
A quick find while geowife was swimming at the nearby aquatic centre.

6962. Out on a geocaching trip in the Rolleston area today. We did five before lunch and six after lunch. A very relaxed pleasant day. This was cache number two and was not an easy one. We parked on the road and searched for quite a few minutes before Rodney spied the sneaky little blighter. We didn't spot the hint object until after we had found the container (which we loved). Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.
Time to get a few local ones knocked off the list, this was a nice wee bit of camo. Cheers
Had me searching for a wee while but then spotted it, Well done on a great wee cache. Cheers Bo
A nice quick find to finish my trip from Blenheim to Rolleston. Great camo here.
It was a great day to cruise down the coast, stopping to pick up a couple of caches, as well as go for a dive in Kaikoura. T F T C
hopefully I will have time for a few more Rolleston caches in the morning before heading back.

On a FTF mission with TG and I needed to mop up Rolleston before heading home. This was one of the stops on the 'way home'.
I had a DNF going for a FTF on this one. But tonight I spotted it from a mile off. The yappy wee dogs over the fence were a bit annoying.
Thanks for the cache.

I was out here for a reason unrelated to geocaching, but had some time up my sleeve so headed off to find a few caches. This one was nicely done and it took me a few minutes to track down. Laughed when I found it. Nice!
Found it within 30 seconds of arriving at GZ this time... I obviously didn't look hard enough in the right places last time. TFTC (1498)
A "shortcut" on the way home, to grab my cache of the day. A nice wee hide, fav point from me.
Thanks for the hide.

Been here twice before at night. Always busy. No one around this time in the park but so many around in the houses and always watchful. Made a quick find and a great cache.

Clever hide. Took ages going in circles then found the 66- and almost instant success. tftc
