I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.

I found the geocache but it was destroyed and the note was ripped to pieces, I also saw an empty cracked container down the hill. If possible is someone able to fix the or update it that it isnt there anymore. 16/01/20

On a bit of a road trip this weekend to try and make some good progress on the new Mystery at the Museum souvenir challenge. I have very few unfound caches anywhere near home base, so these challenges are a good excuse to head off on a mission and potentially visit some new places.

This was another place I had never been before, on the drive around from Whangaroa to Matauri Bay. Certainly a fantastic view from up here. Once I stopped admiring the view and waited for the other muggle who arrived to move on, the cache was soon located in the hint location. Pleased to also find an "emerald" here for the challenge. TFTC.

Today was the fifth day of our trip to the Bay of Islands region. After having a nice breakfast we set of heading north along the tourist drive. After visiting the Rainbow Warrior memorial at Matauri Bay we picked up the cache at the intersection leading to Matauri Bay. Before continueing along the tourist drive till we reached the beache at Te Ngaere to stop for a few minuets to relaxe. Continueing our journey along the tourist drive we stopped at the Letterbox-Hybride and then drove to this nice lookout. After searching where the GPS lead me first I ended up in pritty high gras so I went back to the road to start over. I read the cachepage again and there it was. Signed the log and replaced as found. Tftc.

A new cache had us coming exploring this area today. Beautiful views on a clear summers day. Snagged and tagged here. Cheers

Friday - day fourteen - Kerikeri - with The Seagnoid , toby and William. Zara gets to rest up in KeriKeri again.

Its another epic 3+ week geocaching adventure with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and Willam to the Far North. What an amazing place to explore. Lots of walks, gravel roads and sand. Lots of amazing trees, beaches and interesting POIs. Lots of kilometers traveled by vehicle and foot. Vehicle breakdowns, making new friends and catching up with old friends and family. Snagged a couple of FTF's, lots of lonely caches and the odd event along the way. Lots of cache maintenance and replaced caches on this trip. But what an incredible adventure!!. Thanks to all the CO's who have made this trip so memorable..

Taybee dragon and I were not planning to come here, but a brand new letterbox cache near by dragged us out of Kerikeri. Million dollar view? I wonder if it really is. If a quarter acre section without a house will actually sell for that much. Certainly a fine view it is, and would be better in winter when the air is drier and this humidity haze is gone.

Day fourteen of an awesome, tiring, long, three week holiday geocaching with Taybeedragon in the upper north. Today it's Paihia. The whole trip comprised of hours of walking on sand, sliding down sand dunes, hundreds of kilometres of unsealed roads, car breakdowns, paddling out to islands, lighthouses, dolphins, goats, events, FTFs, weird boulders. You name it, we saw it. Lots of bisons, lots of cache maintenance, lots of sunscreen. A month is enough. I am glad to be back home. Except that now I have to write up my trip. We averaged just 20 caches per day, but that is still a lot of logging!

Merry Christmas from the Seagnoid!

Northland Day 3: Today’s journey brought us from the beaches of Doubtless Bay, down through the East Coast Bays to Kerikeri, by the Bay of Islands. Today’s highlights were primarily sweeping views of the harbours and bays of the East Coast of Northland, and while it did threaten to rain, the storm never did arrive to where we were and we had lots and lots of sunshine. Good and productive day overall!

The following is the specific log for each cache:
Another quick stop for the view, though the gorse growing around here isn’t particularly inviting or nice to approach and to hunt by. Had to persevere a little to make the find. TFTC!

#9583. A nice day to explore Kaeo and the surrounding areas. Stopped off Wainui Road for a short walk. Yes, quite a million dollar view after the two-step climb. GZ was all quiet when we visited. Missed it initially after some searching and widening the area. Eventually returned to near where the GPS was pointing, and found it in the end. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Thanks for the placement and for bringing us to the site, and …

Realised when I got here that I'd found this cache before. Didn't bother to hunt for it again as I've previously signed the log. I didn't want to mess up my milestones so I've just logged it as found today despite signing the log ages ago. Lovely views along this road, TFTC Smile

#2180 The weather was a bit iffy this morning but I still wanted to pop out and stretch my legs and collect a few caches. After reading the hint I thought I could be in for a long search but I was happily mistaken as I soon spotted the cache. Amazing spot, TFTC!

Sure is a million $ view. We gave this cache a good search but in the end we decided to replace it. Glad I bought plasters for all the puncture gorse wounds.

I agree the view is stunning - but I didn't like the gorse, either, so didn't persist.

11-Mar-15
A bit to much old gorse around for me. Still, the view is good.

18-Jan-15

WATCH OUT FOR THE MOUSE.
we dropped off Sage-Man's Belle of Louisville Geocoin AND If you look closely in the attached photo you may see a cargo ship going by (on the horizon) we thought it was a fitting place for it.

Kayakers I had seen at Mahinepua peninsula, were passing through the million dollar view.

Had to wait for muggles to move on then employ the walking stick search method but soon came up with the goods. Two FTF's in a day almost unheard of for us lately.
