I have decided to archive the cache, as this is the third time in a short period it has been muggled, and I no longer live in the area, making maintenance difficult!
Happy caching, thank you for visiting beautiful Nelson Bay!

I'm awaiting a new cache to be delivered, then I will reinstall. I no longer live in the area, so it has been a slow process, I apologise!
found lid of a bison tube, and what we thought might be the remains of a fake rock. CO may need to check on this cache
DNF at 2:01 PM.
Another cache that had us initially looking 12 metres away until we read the hint We then spent about 20 minutes looking in all sorts of holes and gaps - we were pretty sure that we knew what the cache container was going to be given its surroundings - but nothing could be found.

Found with Bluewattle whilst in the local area, good camo and hide.

Missing it last visit good find today. Taking the dog for a litle walk Tftc
Find #1735
We took advantage of (relatively) cooler weather today, and adventured around Corlette and Nelson Bay, grabbing 7 caches and a trig.
The hint was a big help, and a quick find was made - TFTC.....

We are staying in the area for a few days and happily we were able to find this cache. What a beautiful location. Thanks to caits19 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Introducing a muggle to Geocaching and he spots this one straight away.

This was a quick find as I spotted the cache on my approach. It hadn't been replaced very well and was quite exposed. I put it back a little better hidden.
Thanks caits19.
Thanks caits19.
A dog in a nearby house didnt think i had any right to be poking around the wall and made his displeasure well known. I found the cache easily enough then struggled to get the log paper out for the 2nd time today. At least im finding them i guess. Tftc
The hint leads you to it. Our 38th in this area. Two more hopefully before we head off. Tftc.
The coords on this one had us 12 metres from where we needed to be, but with a spot on hint it took us no time to find this one.

Had a bit of a look for this one there are plenty of spots it could be and with previous DNFs I didn't have a lot of hope.
After another good look tonight (with another pair of eyes!) I didn't find anything. Is there any chance you could please check this one?
After an extensive search I didn't find anything!! Argh. I've messaged the CO, let's hope help comes soon. I'll be back for another look at a later date.
TFTC caits19. Nice hide and great contrast to your last one up the hill. Jimmytherat with Noelle04
Today was the last day of our holiday in Nelson Bay and while generally we have had terrific weather, today was quite cold and rainy which did put a bit of a dampener on our caching activities. We did manage to find a few though and enjoyed the places where we were taken.
Thank you caits19 for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Up to Port Stephens from Sydney for the ANZAC Day Wknd. Found this one on an early morning walk with the Geobaby. Interesting structure, would be good to see in action. Hint was helpful. TFTC

The hint certainly helps here as there could be so many places to hide a cache. Had trouble retrieving it from its hidy hole and used two sticks to pull it out. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

Quick find while holidaying at Lemmon Tree Passage.Clue certainly needed on this one.TFTC
A ruffle in the bushes had us spooked when we accidentally disturbed its inhabitants. Knew we had the right place but with the critter and nearby muggles this retrieval became a challenge.
Took a not so easy path into this one but found an easier way out. The hint was very helpful.
We have travelled up from Sydney to Port Stephens, camping at the Lemon Tree Passage Big4 Koala Shores caravan park, for our annual summer holiday. Today we were targeting caches around Nelson Bay and Corlette, and a couple of extras enroute. This was the 3rd find of the day, 14th find of the holiday.
After finding "Gan Gan Lookout" we continued on to this one. Parked the geomobile just above GZ, in Navala Avenue, and walked down to GZ. Saw "the wall" and were worried it was going to be a long and painful search but, thanks to the very helpful hint, we soon spotted the hide and had CIH. TNLNSL and then replaced everything as found. TFTC.

Left Nelson Bay early morning, well, before 10 am, where we have been during the long weekend and headed towards a few more caches before entering the queues on M1 towards Sydney. This was one of them and surprisingly and quick find.
Found with tassie expat while up from Phillip Island. This is our last day in this beautiful area.
Thank goodness for the hint or we would still be there. An interesting place. TFTC

Thank heavens for the hint! Met a nice muggle who told us all about walks in the area ... next time!
I was worried that this was going to be a nightmare of a cache but the hint makes it nice and easy.
Fairly solid wall , must have a lot of water coming down this way. Easy find TFTC
It's been a while since we were last up this way so we decided to remedy that with an afternoon of caching.
Coords were well off here but the hint made for a quick find, and no spiders to worry about today. Thanks caits19

Great cache you couldn't see Amy flash of white on the cache and the coordinates are very off thanks
Headed back to the Nelson Bay area, to pick up a few more caches.
We visited lots of lovely beaches & bushland, where we found a good variety of hides.
Many thanks for placing this cache, caits19, for us and others to find.

Mosquitoes and pre-dawn drizzle. I overthought the search and went wider. I eventually returned to the actual hide and searched more intently to reveal the prize.
We started our extended trip from Dural. Our first stop was at Berowra Waters. After, we made our way to Forster. Here we took part in an impressive swim with dolphin tour.
After, we continued to Nelson Bay where we had a relaxing couple of days on the beach. We took a little walk up to the summit and the former fort of Tomaree. Here we folowed the beautiful PT from Nelson Bay to Shoal Bay.
Thank you for showing this nice places

Found it on a soggy Sunday while staying at Nelson Bay. A nice quick find thanks to the hint. TFTC
On my way to Shoal Bay with FootyFanatics for a few days. We settled into our lodgings and headed out to tackle this one. Found quickly signed log and replaced. Nice container. TFTC
The difficulty rating of 3 is way too high in my opinion. Cache slightly damp, otherwise intact. TFTC.
Quick cache with geohubby and geodad on a caching expedition in the area. Visiting from South Africa. TFTC.
Visiting the area for the weekend, hoping to grab as many caches as my muggle family members will allow - this was a sneaky one while out getting the early morning coffees (lucky I dont know the area and got 'lost' finding the coffee shop
Tried this one before but after a while gave up, but today found quickly.

There's one like this at Medowie that we have not cracked yet . Thank goodness this one has a clue . SL, TNLN,TFTC
This was a nice quick park and grab as the hint gave the spot away instantly. Only white thing there! TFTC
We knew exactly where this cache was going to be and as we got closer it was very obvious where the cache was hiding. A cool little spot. TFTC
TFTC!! Didn't take too much searching for thank gosh, as the neighbors were eyeing us off.
Visiting friends 69 metres away how could I resist. Located it quite quickly but took a bit of fiddling around opening it and restoring.
Waited for a while in the car to get this one because of the rain, then decided just to go for it because it was only going to get worse. Found and logged, TFTC.
This cache is quite close to the home of people we lived next to for some years, but a long way from here. We looked in all the likely places and I eventually found it after moving a few rocks around. After logging I replaced it with a very small part showing, as intended by the CO. It's not a great idea to be moving too many rocks around in these walls. Thanks for the hide.
