Is there something here that I'm missing? I've been searching for 30 minutes with no success
Den See umwandert und diesen Cache schnell gefunden. Besten Dank fürs Verstecken und greetings from Switzerland.
Quick grab and luckily have not seen any snake yet only a half eaten bird on the other side of the foot path. TFTC!
Primile and I enjoyed a beautiful walk here around the lake. Beautiful place Happy New Year ! TFTC and cheers from Austria
Thank you! Met up with sabs20 for a new year's day cycle around Herdsman Lake. There weren't too many people about this morning, and after a bit of a search we soon had the cache in hand.
Sorry it's taken so long for me to get this... replaced cache... will update name soon
Took a fair bit of searching but found it with some persistence! Kids stoked to make this our 200th find!! Loving all the caches around Herdsman Lake, thanks.
I initially went around in circles until i was able to eventually rule out a few obvious spots until i had CIH.

Reached Herdsman Lake at 8.04 am. Found R2D2 (take two) and it was the 1st cache of the day. Also, found 32 other caches created by Hiddo surrounding and in the vicinity of Herdsman Lake. That would earn 4 favourite points, and the 1st favourite point goes to this cache. Log sheet is full, had to squeeze in to sign log. TFTH Hiddo.
Headed out to collect a few caches NOR as there were some odd green dots left on the map be it new or old TFTH TFTC
TFTC Had a few hours spare today so cravo10 and I decided to pickup a few odd caches around the joint.
We headed off to grab some of the Star Trek cache series near Nicholson road. I started the series some time ago and cherry picked the outside caches, leaving the middle ones, the "harder" ones for another day. Today was the day organised a small loop to pickup a few of the caches and with my back playing up again we left the last small leg of four for another day.
All caches were found in good condition with plenty of space left in the logs, a really nice well put together series here by granett. Well done mate
We then had some spare time and ducked down to grab the new cache in Seville grove which was tempting to try for FTF on last night but was too tired. Would have been great to see the FTF party but alas it wasn't to be.
Thanks

There were a lot of ants around when we tried to find it.
TFTC Hiddo. A cute one.

Quick find whilst tackling the last few caches around the lake, no pen...photo log attached tftc
Logged under Mummy & Daddy's name smileyjims but I have my own name now, I found this cache with them and wrote in the log book with them TFTC
He's definitely alive and well, returned him to where we retrieved him from with @smileyjims
Walking around Herdsman Lake with my daughter checking out the wild life and a few caches. R2D2 is all good, no need for the temporary disabled.
We were surprised by a Tiger Snake out in the open near the cache. It quickly headed back to a small stump hole in the ground and disappeared, so don't put your hand in there.
Thanks Hiddo for the cache.

This is the droid I was looking for but I obviously need better Jedi skills to find it. Just got a faceful of spiderwebs instead.
Found it with some rather loud people (not in our party) hopefully the nearby muggles don't pick up on our game.
Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! We are currently on the first leg of our journey, which started with our arrival at Perth airport. Yesterday we spent the day cycling around Rottnest Island and tomorrow we travel on to Adelaide where we will meet up with our friends and then continue on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island. We then travel slowly towards Melbourne, via Goolwa, Coorong, Mount Grambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. From Melbourne we head to Tasmania for a few days, then back to Melbourne before setting off to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. After a visit to Sydney we will travel on to the Gold Coast, then after spending a few days in the nearby mountainous birding hotspots, followed by an overnight trip to Fraser Island, we will fly from Brisbane to Cairns, visiting yet more good birding sites. We will then drive up to Cape Tribulation before heading back south again to Port Douglas and a day out on the Great Barrier Reef. We then return to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs, where we will hire a 4x4 camper and set off for a week on the circuit to and from Kings Canyon and Ayers Rock. We then fly to Darwin from where we will spend the last two weeks of our holiday making our way to Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!
This was our first find of the day, walking around this lovely lake full of wonderful birdlife. Thanks for the cache.

Took the whole clan for a ride around the lake. In hind sight it may have been too far for the 3 year old. Took a while but found it eventually. Tftc.
Headed out with wagirl60 on a beautiful Easter Monday to find some caches around Herdsman Lake. This was #12 of 14 caches we found around the Lake today. A quick find here of a favourite Star Wars character. TFTC, Hiddo!
I love R2D 2 but he was clearly viable so we attempted a less obvious hide in the same spot tftc
Took a while but eventually located. Poor old R2 was out in the open in plain view so perhaps more doggy sniffing about? Might need a better cover.
TFTC Hiddo.
