Logs
Out walking in the rain with Pittstopp74 to find some of the BBBB. Found this one as well. There are actually 2 containers here so we signed both. One didn't have a lid so we put the log into a bag.
Elina_maree needed a point boost for the Cosmic Quest so I suggested we take our bikes and do as many caches as we could along the Bulimba Creek Bikeway. It was a ridiculously hot winter's day but we pushed on and ended up finding 41 caches all up (with 4 DNFs).In the morning we parked at the end of Kavanagh Road and we did the first 2 sections of the BBBB from there. Then we shifted the car up to Broadwater Park to tackle the next section. We set off again and soon came across this cache. Once we had the right tree it was pretty easy to find the cache. A nicely constructed new container and a cute little logbook. Thanks for the cache eatmorchikin!
Over visiting from NZ and using the time to do as much caching as other commitments allow. With the dodgy forecast today, I decided to concentrate on nearby areas and not go for long bush walks.Well, it was going to be local, until the lure of an FTF brought me 10 km across town, and with the rain more or less holding off, I decided that I should do a few more in this area.Nice quick find here of cache in good condition. DNF from 6 years ago avenged. TFTC
A nice ride to this cache with the boys. A rest and a play now. Thank you for the hides on this trail
Found two caches there. One seems to be in disrepair which we left but signed the nicer one.
Nice walking in park andforest after work. TFTC.Cache state was a shame. I installed bottle cup cache with logbook under cache remains.
Nice new chache is well done. Love the little accordion style cut of the log you've done
"Eloise YUKO" is an apt name...the log is sadly in need of a replacement, with a leech having made a home in an eclipse missing a lid. Tablet took me 2 wrong Camphor Laurel 1st up! T4TC:-)
47 of 53 today.Shazzar66 & I spent Australia Day riding the Bulimba Creek Bikeway. We rode 42 Km's today, looking for caches. It was overcast, hot and humid, but we had a successful day.We started at Wynnum Road and turned around at Broadwater Road. Our strategy was generally to stick with the BBBB series, unless a cache was on the Bikeway and even then some we decided to bypass. The plan was to find more than our previous daily record of 51 caches. We didn't leapfrog, but did each cache together. We've ticked off a whole pile of caches today, with only 2 DNF's.Logs were signed ShaDup.My apologies for the generic logThanks, Eatmorchickin, for the cache.
I headed out in the geo-bike for a few caches today Duppers. We decided to hit a few of the BBBBs.I found your cache, Eloise: Yuko today. This is my 2662 find. This one made for a quick find. Signed as ShaDup.eatmorchikin, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
I group of us met up at the might M for a breakfast and an event and then rode the Bulimba Bike trail to collect a heap of new caches. This is one of the caches that was collected along the way. To save room on the paper, log was signed as mmmm for those of us travelling together.
Found with the boys. Container completely knackered, log destroyed. Needs attention.
Needs Maintenance - Tin Found and what appears to be old log book. Please fix. Thank you
We were surprised to find this wonderful large park hidden down that nondescript driveway. Parking in the closer carpark, we made our way to GZ for a nice easy find. As others have said, the cache needs some attention. Thanks eatmorchikin
Terribly badly degraded, lid came completely off and the log is completely sodden and moldy
Found this one just fine however the log is completely soaked replaced as found.
I think what I’m loving about geocaching is I’ve walked past this tree a zillion times and would have had no idea this little treasure was here As others have said, tin is rusted and very damp, but TFTC!
Wouldn’t have ever known there was a nice little park here! Thanks for the find! Little minty tin that is rusty and needs a new log!
Beautiful scenery. Was a walk with the girlfriend a puppy dog. Lovey little find.
Nice quick one walked from the other end of Broadwater road for this one. Lid is missing and it's now a spiders home. May want to look at this one. X.
Just a bit of caching on a quiet Boxing Day afternoon.
Went the wrong way and had to double back. Had to dig a bit under the litter.

Found the cache without too much trouble. It's missing its lid, but is hanging in ok regardless.
Out on a beautiful winters day celebrating International Geocaching Day!! Love the smell of camphor laurels. Log damp but easy to sign. Thanks eatmorchiken for the cache
This geocache, an eclipse tin has lost its lid and the contents are super soggy! Seems it has been for a while too. Time for a little love from the CO.
Definitely. I have definitely been to this park since the geocache has existed. But for some reason, I've never looked for geocaches while here in that time. Today though, I was here and had the time.
I had an early morning start, and ended up needing to walk a significant section of the Bulimba Creek Bikeway. This turned out to be a lovely time, sipping takeaway coffee, enjoying the peace of morning movement, and loving the serenity of the natural surrounds. After I checked the geocaching app, I saw this trail of five. As I approached the area, I recognised it and was surprised that I'd not found it before.
Given the early-ish hour, there was just a few folks around, and none looking at me. So I wandered towards GZ and after a brief poke about, had a geocache in hand. Not matching the description, I wasn't sure. But, recent logs indicated the wet tin in hand was the geocache now.
Yeah, it sure has seen better days. But I found it, and that concludes the geocaches for my walk this morning. Just a few geocache-less kilometres to go. Thanks for this geocache, eatmorchikin.

A cool morning for a bike ride to get me warmed up, with a few caches along the tracks. Hasti dig a little to find a well buried muddy tin.

I had a couple of target caches to tackle this weekend, I thought I would collect the trads as well while I was here.
This one was found quite buried, the log was quite damp but was able to be signed.
Thanks Eatmorchikin and our Eloise for placing the cache here.

Gotcha, as I started to search GZ a cricket decided to jump out and give me a fright. After having a little giggle to myself I quickly spotted the cache. Tftc eatmorchikin
A quick find of another wet cache. Poured the water out. Log was damp but was able to sign. Replaced with lid facing down. TFTC
It was almost time for lunch and my wife and I were filling in time finding caches and also looking for a spot to eat. When we walked down into the park we thought that our prayers had been answered because there were some tables free, and hopefully the washing-up fairy had visited our house while we were out.
Our dreams were quickly dashed. There were plenty of tables available, except they were the ones that didn’t have a roof so we would have been sitting on wet seats. Of the ones that were available, they had been marked by parents who were pushing on with their child’s birthday party in the rain. From a distance away you could see the parent circling the table like a magpie taking sniper rifle shots at anyone that dared to walk close.
In fact there were two birthday parties close to each other and you could feel the tension in the air. Both of the mothers had their chests pumped up and were pacing backwards and forwards between the tables like they were guarding the demilitarized zone in Korea. We knew this wasn’t the place for our lunch so we got down and crabbed our way back to the car in case we caught a stray balloon missile. tftc

With a few hours off from work and time before I had to head home it was an opportunity to continue my challenges of a trad a day and a cache a day. So, over on the southside today to collect an old cache and a couple in the area as well. A nice little walk around this area collecting the trads before heading across the creek to then collect the old cache.
Some good and interesting hides in here with all caches in good condition and with log signed and returned as found. The old cache was nice to see, however a little hard to reach if you have big hands. After a few minutes I managed to open the container and grab the log out, some interesting reads in there, log is a little tattered but still able to be signed, interesting.
I signed the log and replaced as found, this old cache is not going to get taken any time soon, lol. Thanks to the CO’s for all the hides.

Nice quick find with our new little addition to our Caching family, Little Mr. Archie. Archie’s first ever find at 5 months old. TFTC
This was a quick find, as the cache was in plain sight. I gave it more camouflage upon return. I love the smell of camphor laurel! TFTC
Find #82 - Only MEandK present. Found by E.
This is a lovely bushy section of the Bulimba Creek Bikeway. We really enjoyed our walk between Wecker Road and Mt Gravatt-Capalaba Road.
Our quickest find ever! I hadn't even got to Ground Zero before the geokids were announcing the find!
No swaps in this cache.
This cache is in good condition.
Signed Log.
Thanks For The Cache and thank you for bringing us to this great spot on this lovely day.

I am on holidays and due to covid 19 I can't go anywhere so I decided to bike ride here . At gz there were lots of walkers and kids on skate boards but they quickly went by and I quickly retrieved the cache and signed it before anyone else came along. I did bring hand gel to clean my hands so cache is safe for the next finder just in case. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
I’ve been meaning to log these caches for a while. Took an early mark from work. Surprised to see a travel bug - we’ll move it to a new home soon. TFTC

What an amazing park. All those magnificent Camphorlaurels in one place. Yuko and Eloise could have had fun and got up to all sorts of mischief here.
I'll be recommending this park to others. A real gem in suburbia.
Thanks for the Cache, eatmorchikin

A quick detour from the jewel hesit for Ghostgums and I, this cache was a little too close to ignore as we got to the end of our walk along the path. So, over we went and made a quick find on arrival at GZ. [^]
Cheers Eatmorchikin.
