A great day! Thanks for organising this event ladies! Was really nice to put faces to geocaching names!

Oops nearly forgot to log it. Had a great time. Great event with many pleasant people, good snags and nibbles. Liked your bingo, great conversation starter.

What a pleasant way to spend a casual Saturday afternoon with friendly strangers, all with something in common… Cache addiction!
Mrs R-F and I had a great time and enjoyed the company of all those we got a chance to chat to. To those that we didn’t get to talk to, just by being there you added to the atmosphere of the event. Great to meet the people behind the ‘log tags’ and all the mental pictures I had of people like Muff 1, Geo-Gypsies and Team Benders were shot to pieces and nothing like my over imaginative mind had conjured up (Probably best if you don't ask). So I now know never to judge a cacher by their caching tag…
A special mention must go to the Chef, the onions and snags were cooked to perfection.

A Huge and Special "THANK YOU" (Shout out) to Angloj & Kestal for this great event and supplying lunch.

Events are always a great way to be able to put faces to names, meet some new friends, catch up with some old and have a chat. While all of our previous GeoCaching Events have been enjoyable and friendly this event wins for us. If we could give it a favorite point we would.

Thanks angloj for taking the time to put event together, we look forward to the next.

Beautiful weather for the event today. Bit of reluctance at first from one of the geokids (grrrr), but he and the littlest Esky ended up having a great time unearthing the crocodile "fossil" in the sand at the playground. Great to put faces to names. Thanks angloj and kestal for organising it.

what a great and fun event. We drove up the Range and located some caches along the way before attending the event. Discovered many trackables. Thank you for the event. Was nice to meet geocachers we haven't met before. TFTE.

Had a great day out in Toowoomba today caching with Gulliver's Travels 54 and Forbiddenground. We came up for the event and to clear out the EarthCaches. This was a well-organised and fun event. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed catching up with other cachers. A huge congratulations to the EO Angloj for putting on a great event. We all enjoyed ourself. TFTS (Thanks for the Sausage) We all left full and satisfied.

Very glad I made the trip to Toowoomba for the event today. Great to see how the sport is growing, and how keen the geocachers are in all parts of the country. Had met the hosts at a recent Event at the Gold Coast and this is their first Event and it was great. Good weather, good snags, and time to do some extra caching afterwards. Thanks ladies.

Great turn out on our first event in Toowoomba. Thank you to everyone who travelled some distance to make it. Was nice to meet all the local cachers. And thank you to everyone who bought along extra nibbles. See you at the next one

What a fantastic turnout! Both Anna and I were blown away with the response for our first event cache. It was wonderful meeting everyone and catching up with those we already knew. I can't wait for the next one!

Thank you all for a great event.

We had come up the big hill from Brisbane to attend the Up The Range Event and made a weekend of it.

We had a huge breakfast and grabbed some caches on the way to the event. Geo-hubby's navigation skills put us pretty close to where we needed to be and were very surprised to see water after going around the Engergex holding area.

A wonderful area with a great park for kids. We we warmly welcomed and settled in for some small talk like on cachers can provide. Finally met some names that we have followed around the state. Somehow in all of the we were the first to put our name in the log book for the day and later on found out we had one a FTF cache and FTF pin. Thank you ladies that was totally unexpected and greatly appreciated.

All too soon we took leave of this lovely gathering to head back to the hotel for a small nap before a big dinner at Weis'.

Thank you for the thought and planning that went into making this a great reason to come up and meet some new friends.

So sorry that we can't come. We love Toowoomba and love to go to Events but we have a granddaughters birthday party to attend tomorrow down here so the timing just won't work. We'll be thinking of you and know from all those others attending that it will be fabulous.

Heard about this last night from Gulliver's Travels 54 as we were looking for something to do to celebrate Dr THR's 34th birthday on Monday. This sounds just as good as anything. BOTH of us will be there.

Wow! We are overwhelmed with the number of people attending!

We are providing a sausage sizzle and bread on the day, so would love to know the numbers you are bringing. Could you let us know by Friday for catering purposes?

Feel free to bring along a plate of something yummy to share too:) oh and a drink for yourself!

Somehow missed this being published until just now, Mrs R-F and I were looking for an excuse to get out and about this weekend... FOUND IT [:-)]

Room booked. All set to come for a visit.

After you people made the trip to our event on the Gold Coast last week I would like to return the favour. Many caches along the way that I still have not found so it will be a worthwhile trip.

Would have loved to be there to meet the new cachers in Toowoomba but I am rostered on to work and it is only 1 week before I start 8weeks leave and my big trip to Roma Goondiwindi Tenterfield Stanthorpe and home via Toowoomba then off to Darwin and then the Mega at Easter so it would look a little suspect if I did not go to work on this day. I know everyone who attends will enjoy the day. Maybe catch up next time and I will try to catch up with those of you going to Murray Bridge at Easter.

Not been to many events so this will be nice to meet others.

We will try to make this one

Not quite a local but we do spend a lot of time in this area as we have family who live in the surrounds. See you there. We will bring some snack food along.
