On a beautiful day, went for a 'random' drive to somewhere 'cyclo-cache-able' and ended up an hour later in the Glenmore Park area. Glad I brought the hybrid as the distances between caches in this area are deceptively greater than the map suggests.

This was the 11th find of 15 for the day. And continuing around the course clockwise to collect clues for the Penrith golf series. This was definitely the most difficult, not to find, but to retrieve. I presume there is some retrieval mechanism that would make this easy but nothing that I saw lying about. In the end, used two long branches like giant chop-sticks to grab the cache.

Finally got this... Wasn't the easiest to extract luckily some nearby golfers lended a tool
Well that was interesting. Thanks to friendly golfers they were able to lend us a tool that made things a little easier.
This cache was very frustrating. Make sure you have two people for this one. Good luck.
Day 2 of my five days off (shift worker) and the second day of caching in Sydney. Up the Hume we went on a wet and cool day, 24 degrees in these parts today such a welcome relief for the hot weather as of late.
We did more caching today then yesterday due to the cooler conditions. Today's aim was to try and reduce the numbers in these parts as we slowly chip away at the mass of caches.
We "visited" the trackables we had on board to each cache we visited today and handed out a few favourite points for some caches we thoroughly enjoyed.
Thanks to the CO's who's caches we visited today. Thanks to all for the effort!
TFTC TNLN.

Quick find but unable to retrieve even using all available "tools". Couldnt sign log.
Just a quick one this morning. Quick find, retrieval was a little more difficult, luckily a couple of natural tools were near by. TFTC
Found the cache but couldnt get it out of where it was put last to sign the log.
Luckily the number is on the lid

What a beautiful day for caching with sevabo & OZUK in Penrith area today. No muggles around here. Thank you The Booos for bringing us here.
Great day out for caching with geoladies - enjoyed this series area. Thanks for leading us here
Today I went geocaching with GeoSevabo, Skyejam & ALL7 day together. Thanks for bringing us here.
Looked here last week, but ran out of time and came back today. Had to wait till two golfers finished at the nearby hole. Then found following a hint I was given. Returned as found. TFTC.
We saw two ravens take a golf ball each and fly off with them. TFTC and the entertainment.
I had to be out this way for minor surgery for a skin cancer at Penrith, however once I arrived I found out I have to wait 2 more weeks. Having already organised to have the day off work. What could I do?
I did not need to ask my self that question twice. I knew there was a series around Penrith golf course I have started before. Not in the first place I looked but in the second. Really happy with today's progress. TFTC.

Having left looking for my cache for the day late, I needed a park n grab as it was already getting dark. So I came back to the place where I have had a number of easy finds. This one was giving me a little bit of trouble but eventually I spotted the cache through the cracks. SL #2493 on streak #1368 TFTC
Found with Mits2311 and Kikass Mcfly. Only now got round to logging it great find. Tftc.
14/01/16. 3:50 PM. Cache #3369. Streak day #571.
3rd of 10 finds this afternoon - Orchard Hills & Glenmore Park.
After "Cacheabet ... E", I spent the next hour finding 9 of the Penrith Golf series. I started with a park & grab at "Par", then drove to Windorra Ave, getting "Hole in One", "Mulligan" & "Eagle" on foot. Had to skip "Albatross" (currently disabled) so I did three park & grabs at "Condor", "Birdie" & "Casual Water". Left the car there and walked down Northern Rd to get "Bogey" before fittingly finishing on "The Nineteenth Hole". Will copy & paste this for the series; some of the caches have additional comments...
Sneaky one - not quite in the first, most obvious place. TFTC

Found with Logangeo and mitz2311, clever hide, seemed obvious after we found it
Hmm, could it be down there? I looked around and saw a glimpse of it despite its camo.

Tftc. Extra caution required here as golfers were trying to sink their balls. Obviously didn't get a hole in one!
Tricky hide, and as GPS had is going in the wrong direction, it took a while before it was in our hands. Sneaky! TFTC
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Found at 8:30pm with a torch. I didn't realise so many vehicles came up here. TFTC The Booos
A quick find whilst racking up some numbers before heading up to the mountains for a couple of days to do some extreme caching with Delloro! TFTC!

On a fine winter's morning for a walk this was the eighth of a number of caches I picked up by loop walking around the Penrith Golf club. tftc
Fun to find in the dark persevere with this one you'll figure it out, left an appropriate token found on our travels team player, Man and Salad and Hams Sandwich out on a cache day
Eventually found this hide, but it did take its time to reveal a nicely hidden container, cheers Booo's
So we are new to this and DNF today. Owner please advise if still there? Thanks
With a nice sunny morning and rain expected later, we headed out early to grab some caches.
Did the Penrith Golf series on the bike, and picked up a few clues - not sure if we got them all.
Found a good variety of hides, all in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Booo'sDad, for us and others to find.

It was awesome to finally get the last few caches in this series all coords were spot on, thanks team boo!
Harder than I thought it would be but got there in the end! We had muggles staring at us the whole time though
On the Way to Warragamba dam, we also stopped here.
We found this nice cache.
Thank you for showing us the spot.

Out and about with pjmpjm caching while the GeoBuru2 was being serviced.
Nice hide, not quite where expected , but soon in hand.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
I had to deliver the faithful GeoBuru2 down to Penrith Subaru today, to have its regular maintenance work done. rogerw3 accompanied me and we planned to do a bit of geocaching during the four hours or so that the vehicle would be tied up. (I arranged for a loan car from Subaru.) What we found to the south of Penrith was a sometimes disappointing collection of caches (13 in total), a number of which really required either a bit of TLC or a complete overhaul. We also DNFed four caches, all of which we suspected had gone walkabout.
This cache wasn't quite as obvious as we expected. In fact, the really obvious spot was filled with disgusting trash. Yuck!
However, rogerw3 has sharp eyes and spotted something 'small' in a less obvious spot, right next to the very yucky spot.
The container proved to be in good order. TNLNSL.
Thanks to Booo'sDad for the geocache.

Catching up on logging after realising how slack I had been in logging finds, lucky the gps stores them. Apologies for the delay in sending through the logs. A quick find. TFTC Booo'sDad. [1764]
Not sure if we were just having a bad cache-day or if the muggles have been busy. Looked for 3 in this series & couldn't find one. Doh!
Another clever hide but am not noticing any numbers, hope we will be able to complete this series
Replaced container with an experimental one. slightly changed how it was hidden so please return to new spot.
The log is mush, I added a new log sheet into the bag, but it may turn damp quickly too.
5534 Caches Found
Travelled down the ole thin black line again to Western extremes of Sydney ie Glenbrook Park, Penrith and Mulgoa. Hoping tto pick up a few caches. Thanks to all involved

Quick find by Salem. Old eagle eye at it again. Great sneaky hide but log is ruined. Needs replacing but we had no paper on us to replace it so we took photo for authentication. Tftc
A quick find in the more obvious spot. The log was damaged & very soggy and due to my amateur mistake I didn't bring any with me today TFTC
Managed to nab a few more around the golf course this afternoon with The Rats before heading home. Many clever little hides. TFTC!
Sneaky hide, but log is very wet and needs urgent attention. Only managed to write GW. TFTC.
Great weather so beautiful fine sunny, looked forward to caches anywhere of Penrith. after Event on the way to some series caches... Easy to find but cant sign in because full wet log. Thanks
This was the second of six in the Penrith Golf series found this afternoon. It is well camouflaged and hidden and, also, was not where my GPSr was pointing, so it took me a while to uncover.
The log is very wet and disintegrating though, with difficulty, I was able to sign it.
Thanks again Booo'sDad.

Thanks again Booo'sDad.
After returning to the condor and eventually finding the elusive number it was around to this guy where the find was made. No number here but as bisygisy has stated the log badly needs to be replaced as it very soggy.
Location is good but maybe the container needs to be updated or a better seal to keep out the water.
Thanks Booo'sDad for this series.

Thanks Booo'sDad for this series.
This one is not where I expected it to be. It could be classed as sneaky. Though in the other places it would never need maintenance. TFTC.
Found it on a day out geocaching with Frebob.
Needs maintenance...logsheet is wet.

This wasn't where I expected it to be, but there weren't many places to look and it was found easily enough. Thanks
Found with J+J.au as we made our attempt on this new series before heading up the Mountains today. Some of these proved a bit sneaky and had us searching for a while and others we were 'on the ball'
Thanks Booo's Dad for a fun round.
