Every time we come to Guilderton we are struck by how beautiful it is, and today was no different. We were very surprised to find an ammo can with log inside at GZ. Thanks for the cache dja_wa and to the caching fairy for replacing the container.
Big day planned for caching in Guilderton today with iluvtrekking and although it was a chilly 5 deg when we arrived, the sun was shining and not a cloud to be seen overhead. Came prepared with a new container but found an ammo box at gz with old log book and goodies inside. Looks like a caching fairy has been here! Thanks dja wa
Happy new year...I think... Found contents of this cache scattered. All collected and bagged. Looks like a new container is needed as the bag won't last too long. Tftc
Last one for the day. Tried from the lower car park first but after seeing a snake nearby decided for option two and had a pleasant walk from the other side along the trail. A favorite for this one and to say thank you for your caches around Guilderton. TFTC dja wa.

Out and about with pprass on a short morning run before breakfast. Easy park, short walk along the path. A quick find, thanks for the cache, just love your area
Found at 8:01 AM GAFF5 in the company of xambo4u.
We worked out the access, but then walked along the minor track until we spotted the parallel proper track There were already heaps of muggles about enjoying the sunshine.
Thanks dja_wa.

Had a day out caching around Lancelin Ledge Point and Guilderton. Despite the constant rain we found a cache or two. This was one of them. TFTC
A couple of years ago we worked for a couple of weeks at the local caravan park and thought we saw whole Guilderton at that time but how wrong. We never knew this place existed. Amazing spot. As is Guilderton itself of course and not only because it is called after the initial currency of the country we originally come from and we used to have in our "childhood" years. This is all replaced now by the Euro and not everybody seems to be happy about that. Anyway, a short walk to GZ from the carpark and there we found the nicely hidden cache. We took the TB and will keep it moving. TFTC dja_wa.
TFTC! Found on a day trip up to the northern towns of Guilderton, Ledge Point, Lancelin, Seabird returning through Regans Ford and Gin Gin. Thanks
We were out for a day trip today and were initially planning on heading for Cervantes, but we never got past Guilderton in the end. This was the first stop in Guilderton, and it was a quick find here of a nice large ammo tin.
My hubby was navigating and telling me to park up on the top road, but in the end I grabbed the GPS from him and had a look myself, and we picked the carpark near the water instead. It was a nice walk along the trail to GZ.
Thanks for the cache dja wa!

Thanks for the cache dja wa!
First find today! We pulled up in the GeoYota at what we thought was the closest point. However, not the easiest as a lot of thick bushland was in the way. So we wisely heeded the parking Waypoint recommendation, and from there had a very pleasant walk to GZ. Made the find, SL, all well! TFTC dja_wa!
I am giving this cache a fave, as it was such a nice spot to discover, and also to say thanks for all the great caches in Guilderton (a lot better than in Gingin, but that's another story!)

A nice escape from the crazy city for a few days up north with m4yb and dimor. Day 2 of the adventure and towards the ocean we head, A bit of an exploration to get this and a lovely walk, once we read the directions and found the path.
Thanks for a great hide/cache dja_wa

After the rain, thunder and lightning overnight , not good when in tents I was surprised to see today a beautiful sunny day. Thankfully it was as we, Megawat60, M4YB and I headed to Guilderton to grab as many caches as we could and also enjoy ourselves
We parked about 80m from GZ but a quick inspection of the bush had us retreat to the suggested parking waypoint
A lovely walk in and cache was found in the spot we all said it would be

I love the places geocaching takes us. I've driven past this spot many times. Never once realised this little walk was there. I love ammo tins and I love streams too so this was a really nice find.
A day out on the beach in Guilderton. After finishing with the swimming and lying on the beach we decided to grab some local caches.
Walked in about 250 metres from the car park and found the cache in the obvious spot. TFTH

Would never have stopped here, lovely piece of history.

You've done a great job dja in showing off Guilderton with some creative hides. Enjoyed our little stroll out to this one and good to see a metallic offering magically appear
Headed northward today on a maintenance run to check on my northernmost caches. That chore completed, we couldn't just leave town again without trying for the newer caches that have been placed in Lancelin/Ledge Point recently. Sad to say we only got the one smiley in Lancelin before deciding to veto the Ledge Point ones altogether.
It was a totally different story here in Guilderton though. Great series of caches, with a variety of hides in some really great locations. Well thought out and executed. A pleasure to come and find. Giving this one a favourite point, for the whole series. Also dropped off a trackable to continue it's journey. Thanks dja_wa

Back on the north side of the river and meet up with Becknmonts and AusAngel again and we did the walk along the river and side creek. A nice walk with some fast finds and some finds that should have been faster but we over thought they a little (well that’s our excuse). We picked up BlackRat 4 Guilderton, Guilderton – Silver Creek (nice to see an ammo can and discovered a travel bug), Guilderton – The Zig Zag and Guilderton – Bream Point. Logs signed and caches re hid, TFTC

Yay FTF@10:00.
Saw these had been published while running around getting the kids ready for school. "We're going in the car to school, Mr. O. has something to do straight from school..." "Hurray!"
A quick drive up to Guilderton which was looking pretty stunning in the morning sunshine. Icy winds were blowing off the sea though!
A longer walk from The Zig Zag this time, but well worth it. I was enjoying it so much that after a quick find here I carried on down the walk trail and out to the road at the bottom end. That concluded a string of five FTF's and I thoroughly enjoyed my walk back to the car at the lookout - total time in Guilderton about 1 hour and fifteen.
Thanks for the series, dja_wa - co-ords all spot on and caches all worthwhile - much appreciated!
