Like most recent ones we didn’t make a find today, looked through previous logs for clues and found written and physical clues for where it was but no luck, may be gone
Looked really hard but Courdint find it it was also at dark that made it really hard
On my early morning run didn't want to spend too long cooling down looking, so this is a dnf for me.
Lots of muggles on the playground and eating, but they seemed to disappear when we arrived!! Haha....Bit of a search, while waiting for GPS to settle. TFTC.
Found on my 2 week round Eyre Peninsula caching odyssey. Enjoyed travelling from place to place during the covid-19 era as our state is virtually corona free. Thanks viper231.
This weekend, I joined gridge98 on a trip to Eyre Peninsula, primarily visiting Port Lincoln and its surroundings. We saw its famous marina full of trawlers, and we also ended up visiting Coffin Bay and enjoyed fresh oysters. A nice weekend with weather, and certainly a great vicinity to see.
After having a successful day yesterday, we awoke with motivation and optimism for the day that was ahead of us. However after having our first geocache find, a rock had hit the vehicle's oil sump, leaving the car inoperable and requiring the car to be towed to a mechanic in Port Lincoln. The morning was then spent addressing the vehicle's repair plan, and then trying to salvage the remainder of our weekend's plans. We walked around the centre of Port Lincoln, before finding a hire vehicle for us, and then the afternoon was spent driving around the area. It was interesting seeing Port Lincoln's marinas and also caught glimpse of the shark cages. We ended up drowning our sorrows in the evening (whilst celebrating gridge98's birthday) at the craft brewery, which was probably a highlight of the day.
We initially called past this location earlier in the day, but the nearby facilities and park was busy with muggles, so came back whilst calling into town. However during our visit this time, the place was deserted. It didn't take long for us to find the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks viper231 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

We came here earlier in the day but so many people around. Definitely easier at night as we returned before dinner and were able to make a quick find
Well what a day it was, a day filled with more downs than ups and but overall a few caches were found in and around port Lincoln. Davidwazza and I headed to the Eyre Peninsula for a weekend away to clean up as much as we could and collect a few new LGAs for Davidwazza. This morning 2nd cache in we ended up cracking the oil sump in the car and having to sort out what to do and how to fix the issue. Lucky a mechanic was at hand and a prolonged trip was soon scheduled and a hire car was in hand. I guess things happen when you use a car for things that it’s not made to do.
Other than that a great day out.
Thanks for the cache

Found. Good hiding spot. Left a small unicorn pencil. Log is full, didn't have another to replace it with.
Nobody playing bowls today , so quickly found the cache - log is now full, sorry had no paper to leave, but did leave a mini Yin Yang token that just fits. TFTC 2BluFish
A wet rainy day in Port Lincoln whilst visiting family. Rather than spend all day inside we braved the elements to seek a few hides.
This took a little longer than it should have. The obvious hiding hole was there in front of our nose but it took awhile to realize that it was there.
Signed and replaced, cache in good condition. TFTC

Thought we’d get one more for the day while waiting for our takeaway. Of course we took the long way round. But managed to find it in the dark (although it was almost overlooked). TFTC
Didn’t find this one, wasn’t keen tramping through the garden . We found an SA rocks though
Tricky as others have said. It was in the first place that I looked but I couldn't see it but there it was.l
Tricky. We both looked twice at it, as it is in a logical place. Take a long look.

We are on the Vasco de Gama cruise ship for a few days. After the disappointment of not stopping at KI yesterday (understandable given the fire devastation) we were happy to arrive in Port Lincoln today. I didn’t set us the most interesting route as I wanted to get the 2 Freddo caches in town. I think the coastal walk would have been nicer.
In the end we walked 16.3km, found 13 caches, called in at 2 boozers and had lunch on the ship. A very productive day and still lots of caches to find in Lincoln if or when we ever come back.
Once I knew what I was looking for there was only a few places it could be. TFTC lovely park.

Hmm...our second geocache and we were beginning to wonder if we are really terrible at finding things or maybe we should head out of town where things cannot be found from everyday traffic.
After using the convenient conveniences I checked to see where the nearest cache was and found it was less than 30m away.

When we arrived at this location we identified a number of possible hide locations. As we explored these, the cache was located. "Fat fingers" complicated the retrieval but soon the cache was in hand. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks viper231 for the cache.
Our first cache for 2019, and our find find in 3 years or so. Having a great holiday at Lucky Bay and came down to Lincoln for lunch.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Our second DAY IN Pt Lincoln and it was time to focus on caching in Lincoln itself and potential surrounds. It was a cold and grey day interspersed with rain, which was a bit of a downer when compared to the sunshine of the last few days. Despite this we were able to still able to make a good day of it, finding over 50 caches, though it was also a day of quality as well with some higher terrain caches as well. It was an enjoyable day as we were able to tick off some earmarked caches before we finally finished up at around seven.

Travelling Australia since March 2014 it has been a while since in SA but enjoying this visit greatly.
Visiting Port Lincoln we had a tonne of chores but finally headed out to grab a few caches late in the day. We really had forgotten how hard urban caching can be, being muggled out at 2 locations today.
Found the bison lid so have replaced the bison here.

Whilsy car being serviced, The X-Trailers and i walked around the area. Quick find and cache all ok. TFTC
CPwanderer, GoodLook and I headed off for a weekend in Port Lincoln via an overnight stop in Whyalla
Our weekend was unexpectedly extended by a day due to illness and so my tally at the end of the 'weekend' was 168 cache finds
Sadly this was marred by a massive 28 DNFs
Port Lincoln, despite being virgin caching territory for all 3 of us, did not provide us with the pleasure that we had anticipated
So many of the caches were bison tubes and those that we did find, quite often were in places where a larger cache could have been hidden The other issue was the lack of maintenance on many caches
There are people trying their best to maintain the 'wheres wolly' cache hides however their resources are stretched thinly..... so if you are heading over, please pack heaps of cache maintenance containers, bags and log books and help out where you can. [^]
That being said, the trip was still a blast and some great caches were found and great views were seen!
Roaming Wendy very kindly came out with us for the rest of today and as a result, our find count increased as did the laughter in the car
Thank you for your company [^]
Another find Maybe our DNF streak has broken [^]

A lovely park - Pt Lincoln really is a fantastic area to visit!!
After messaging Roaming Wendy, she graciously joined us and jumped in our car in order to cache around Lincoln with us (as we'd not been having much fun with all of the DNFs).
Found whilst on a road trip with CPwanderer and Locus Cache, with the aim of the weekend to cache in and around Port Lincoln - fresh territory for us all. We certainly had a great time, however with a DNF rate of about 40% [:(!], it was tough going! We did however thoroughly enjoy the beautiful locations and scenery.
After joking all day on the Sunday we should spend another night in Pt Lincoln, circumstances presented that meant we needed to extend our time away! We took it slowly on the way home which enabled us to once again visit some terrific places
Thanks for the cache

Found after a walks around among muggles coming and going . A good place for kids to play nearby and the park had seen lots if changes since my 2 came here to play. An extra bit of disguise had me calling Ben for assistance. I'd been right on GZ and should have trusted my instincts the first time, TFTC and the fun . A fav point from me.
Today we walked from the caravan park to the town of Port Lincoln. It is a very enjoyable walk. This was one of the caches we found on our way back. tftc.
Hi there viper231.
We found your cache **"Wellington"** at 11:28:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 13747.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area. We usually start the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then take a route mainly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. Today we started in Port Lincoln and ended up finding 10 & DNFing 3.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.
