What a spot and what a hide. I headed out to take the dog for a walk this afternoon, and there looked like a good park area on the map. As I headed up the hill from the basketball court, I could see another dog running around off leash. That got my dog excited, but there was no off leash fun for her today. At gz we were out of view of all other park users. There were some people practicing goal kicking on the field below, but otherwise I had the search area to myself. I looked in a couple of spots and then I noticed something hidden away. Great container, and I wasnt sure if I had the stomach to retrieve the log roll. All was good with the dry log, and I signed my name and replaced where it was found. Thanks very much for this cache placement LadySim. What a great first cache. I must go and find some others. Cheers
Gave us a hard time because we came at night but awesome cache. Great search after some pints at the regatta
LadySim I found your cache Walk to Work on 6/8/2024, 4:30PM. This is my find 6903 and find # 14 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Found a couple days ago, but no pen, so came back for a night time stroll later.TFTC
Out with mandapanda first find for rhe day awesome little spot loved the rsl walk
Found it and a nice easy find it was. Got here and my pen ran out of juice so could not sign the log but I took a surreptitious photo to prove that I was here
What fun find on a dark and gloomy day Quirky new clean cache, signed the new replacement log book and thank you for the shiny new path tag Ladysim
Coordinates changed from:S 27 28.789 E 152 59.725Coordinates changed to:S 27 28.801 E 152 59.707Distance from original: 122.9 feet or 37.5 meters.Updated co-ords as I have moved the cache location a little further away. Hopefully wont be muggled in new spot.
I will disable this cache for a few weeks until I can check on it. I am away and will attend to on my return. Thanks for your DNF logs.
Nothing but two disgusting dog poo bags and a bone in a hollow at GZ sadly today for me.
No luck at GZ today. Searched all around but no sign will watch to see if any others have luck.
An unexpected drive today
Has left me not too far away.
So with some time left up my sleeve
I dashed to search and then retrieve.
While closing in on Ground Zero
I knew just where I had to go.
An easy search, a quick sign note
And just like that my log is wrote.

After undertaking an early morning MTB session at Mt Coot-tha and The Gap, my vehicle was then left at Mt Coot-tha to then ride into work. Hence, upon my ride from work back to my car, there was a chance to stop at a few geocaches, before taking a drive to Indooroopilly in order to retrieve a strategic tool TB.
With the aid of my MTB riding home, I thought I could make quick work of accessing towards the back of Toowong Memorial Park, so entered via Sulvan Road and followed the side of the pitch and parallel to the railway line. When I arrived at GZ, there were some picnickers about 40 m away, but with my back turned to them, I looked around and quickly caught sight of the cache, as there wasn't much cover. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I hope that the cache doesn’t get confused with litter during a future clean-up, as it does stand out a little. Thanks LadySim for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

After a DNF here 16 months ago I returned on a quiet Sunday afternoon to take another look. I searched the same feature as last time & found the cache as it was totally exposed. Signed the log, returned the cache & added some camo. TFTC
Thanks for the cache quick find at dusk whilst waiting for my lad to finish training
Unfortunately some one has put a full dog poop bag in a spot you might want to look in. Fortunately no need shove your hand in to that particular place.

Well was not confidant to find this one ,,,but it was there guarded by sugar ants keep digging
Got more than we bargained for here! Some HUGE ants that appeared to be quite unimpressed with having their den disturbed. Tftc
Ok, so went to replace this cache, but I found it after a bit of ferreting around. Not sure why I didn't see it when checked on earlier...it is definitely there. A few angry ants and a cache. Happy hunting.
Checking on this cache...mmm...a bit of work been done here...will replace cache shortly.
After looking for a while unfortunately we came up empty handed and this one becomes a blue face
While waiting for my passengers to finish their Sportsball training, I thought that I should try for a nearby cache.
I got to the obvious GZ and searched high and low in a very Muggle-prone area.
But it was all to no avail.
Thanks for the hunt anyway!

It is a very open clearing & I searched what I suspected to be the logical hide but no luck for me today. It seems this one disappears regularly so perhaps it has gone again
Just noticed this one was back. First to sign the new log. Lots of swag and good to now have a smilie face rather than a frown. Tftc
A DNF for me too unfortunately, don’t think there’s too many places it could be so might be worth checking on. A real shame as it sounds like there was some awesome swag. Hopefully can find it again soon.
GPS 4 me was off, but there aren't too many places 2 hide a cache, & soon found T4TC un a quiet place but 4 when trains pass
Haven't visited this park in too long despite living 10min away. Cache was easy to spot as I approached but fun nevertheless! Well-maintained cache with tons of swag inside. Inexplicably also smelled like chicken noodle soup, which I actually quite enjoyed.
Log retrieved and signed with no problem, and placed back carefully with extra camouflage for the next lucky finder
TFTC!

This is a lovely park. The find was quite easy because the cache was in plain sight. After signing the log and returning it, I gave it a bit more camouflage to keep it safe. TFTC
Decided to use this cache as our ultimate goal of a spontaneous train adventure. Been nearly half a year since we dared public transport in the wake of COVID so it was nice to see how excited the boys got when we finally boarded a train again.
After some very important playing on the equipment near Moorlands, we trotted under the train line, waved at the croquet players and started to make our way up the hill to GZ. A quick peekaboo moment as we made our grab. A quick sign and re-stash and then we were off again for more train spotting at the hill’s zenith.
Cache in great nick after CO’s recent maintenance run and full of top-quality swag. Who brought birthday candles ? We need to up our swag game!

Found this while waiting for an appointment. (by found I mean I ran into another cacher who was signing the log book when I arrived had a chat, signed the book grabbed the path tag (nice to meet them). Tftc
Out today to continue my one a day challenge and my trad a day challenge. This was my one for today, in fact I had some time free so I was going to do a few more.
Wow this was a nice find, a reasonable new cache with a swag of stuff inside it. This will be a treasure for someone, awesome. The cache also had a couple of path tags in it and a couple of TB’s, so I grabbed the TB’S and a path tag, thank you. I was having fun looking at all the treasures but thought I gotta get going, so I signed the log returned everything back and started to return it to its hide. I then noticed 2 other people watching from a short distance hmm. Are you cachers? Yes we are!
Ok here you go, we chatted for a few minutes, a nice greet and meet, I then replaced the cache back to its hide. Thanks for the great cache and the goodies and another path tag to add to my growing collection.

After doing a bit of a walk around picking up a few caches we were finally heading back towards Park Road for lunch when my son found an oasis. Being the first day people were allowed back in playgrounds I thought he had peed his pants when he saw the park gym around the corner.
Every night I have to cry in my own beer listening to him whine about not being able to lift weights. He got so desperate he even built himself a chin-up bar in the backyard. Seeing he is an electrician and not a carpenter my life insurance company told me to stay well clear of it. They told me that my premiums would be way cheaper if I just stuck to drinking copious amounts of red wine every night rather than break a neck trying to relive my youth on a death trap.
There was a young kid that was maybe 2 years old with her parents in the gym when we arrived but I think my 21 or 22 year old son chewed that little kid up and spat her out of the playground to make space for him to get his gym mojo cranking. Never have I seen anyone able to pull 29 different exercises out of a flat pole and I tried for 8 years to graduate stripper school.
After having pulled my son out of the park gym (with tears in his eyes) we walked up the hill for a quick find before he asked if we could go back. tftc

Cache replaced today...been a bit of work around here...co-ords remain the same. Swaps and TB’s inside.
During my three weeks in Australia I got plenty of time to spend for my favorite hobby. There are some geocaches, which could be grabbed easily, but most of them are like all typical city caches - you have to be patient and wait for the muggles to disappear. Somehow I managed to find them.
Many thanks to all the owners for hiding and maintenance of their containers.
Greetings from Germany

Went caching for the first time yesterday (2/1/21) in ages and consequently opened the app for the first time in a while.
I have quite a few saved logs (date and time of finds). So I thought it's about time to actually log them.
Tftc
Ahhh- this one i actually found with the kids after school. I swear we found it the hard way but was found easy enough.

Thanks for this lovely little cache. Found after my sleep study last night. A nice little park
What a nice little park! Some rugby games on while walking through, and it was interesting to watch a little. TFTC.
It must have been close to six years since I was last in this park, for geocaching reasons or otherwise. Making my same way there as last time, I came up over the hill towards GZ. Almost overshooting the mark, I doubled back and set about searching. It really was in the most accessible spot, but for some reason I thought about making it more difficult than need be. Guess some things never change. TFTC and a fav for the lovely size container.
Took a bit to spot the correct hiding spot in the dark, but got there eventually. TFTC!
I decided to grab this while, wait for it, walking to work. Beautiful spot. TNLN TFTC.
Checking out where I have to be tomorrow morning I could not stop myself from logging a few more caches for the day.
This was a bit of off the path walking, found the cache in the first place I checked.

Oh up the hill I go after having a bit of trouble finding a car park. Once I got near GZ it was a quick and easy find. All contents dry and in good nick. Signed log then replaced cache as found. TFTC
After eating some questionable sushi we tried to get our mind off things by going caching before our dance lesson. We were dressed super conspicuously (think high heels and a fancy white dress for me and button down and dress shoes for @bludb1) and it was night too! I gotta tell ya, walking up that hill in heels at night is NOT RECOMMENDED. Date nights are never boring with @bludb1.
Easy off road parking and we were using the park so it was legal. Temperature was 35 degrees so a sticky walk up the slope from a nearby cache. Zeroed in on location at GZ and checked a few then bingo! TFTC LadySim
Found after quick once over of the GZ. Nice quiet place to fill out the log. Took some much needed insect repellent and left a different protector behind.
Found after a breakfast nearby. Too close to ignore. Such a nice quiet place to visit.
Thanks for placing for our enjoyment.

Found with sayWOT? and stairman1 and geopuppy. Having just done Mt Coot-tha we decided to grab some breakfast. After brekkie we decided to grab this one. Nice spot for geopuppy to run .All good here.
of course it was the last hidey hole I looked in, but I am early for the Armistice Luncheon at the Regata so have the time. TFTC. Took TB
Had lunch at the Regatta and checked out the caches in the area. Really enjoyed the walk to GZ and pleased that the cache is very suitable to drop the TB I've had for a while. Didn't see any lorikeets. Thanks.

It's great to find a larger hide close to the city instead of an Eclipse tin. Walked up past a building where the amount of yelling suggested that Edward Norton and Brad Pitt were slugging it out in front of an audience with blood lust. Maybe. TFTC
I'm the one who attended the birthday party near here. Esken6 and RMJAH came to pick me up from the party. Then we all went searching for this geocache, and we were delighted when we found it. TFTC!
Walking home from a nearby birthday party with Esken6 and Esken7, we followed our GPS to GZ and began investigating (based on previous testimony) holes that might contain ants or birds. It didn't take long before we found the cache. We logged our find (4:33 pm on 22 September), but didn't exchange any of the exchangeables. TFTC!
A quick find whilst playing with the geokids in the park. As we approached the gz we saw two lorikeets fly away. So with the previous log in mind I quickly located the cache, signed the log and had it back in place in quick time.

TFTC! Decided to stop in on the way past and glad we did We are LOVING this geocaching caper
#15981. We found a pretty good route to the cache (the key thing was getting under the railway line). Bit of a slope to puff up, and then a quick find. TFTC.
