Hi there ash&shaun1003,
Your cache "A Park For Fig Trees" was last found on 16/06/2015, 56 days ago, and has had 5 DNF's since that time..
Is there any chance you could do a maintenance run to confirm if it is still there - - and replace it if it isn't.
If that's not possible then please archive the cache so that the spot can be freed up for someone else to use.
Regards
Ian & Penny

No luck here for me. My GZ was near the spikey plants. The hint suggested it should be elsewhere, but the recent logs suggested that would be the wrong place too. I did check two trees, but neither was a fig and neither revealed a cache.
Find #1502
Having spent the day in NSW rustling a few smilies we decided to grab a couple of QLD one's on the way back just to finish off the day.
This was a nice quick find but I think the figs are getting confused with the poinsiannas.

Finally a nice enough day to go out and explore some areas for caches, north or south and we ended up picking south and headed off.
Found at 2.10pm parked alot closer than we orginally thought.
Thanks for thr cache.

The sun was out again and everything looked so green and lush.
It turned out to be a quick find today, sitting in the spot that I had just hoped it would be.
Thanks to ash&shaun1003 for the cache.

I was with JeoJane, doing some last minute Xmas shopping and enjoying the sites and sounds of the Bonogin area. We had a break from our shopping exploits and decided to grab a few local caches. This was the first one we went for and was found easily. TFTC
This one was a really quick drive by on our Mudgeeraba excursion today.
The cache was a bit exposed so we recovered it well.
Thanks for placing the 787th cache that we have found so far ash&shaun1003!

Another where the X-ray glasses failed me, unless it was in those horrible spiky plants because I refuse to play with those anymore. May try again later.
After attending an event at Burleigh today we were heading home and decided to try and grab a couple of caches along the way. As we were waiting for the GPS to start up here a car pulled up behind us and it was another cacher we had just spent time with at the event so we all headed over to make the find together. Thanks for this hide and all was in good order.
Looking at the idea of heading north towards home after the event and a couple of other nearby finds, I was more then happy to just cross the M1, after seeing the slow moving traffic below the overpass.
So I picked this one and headed in, as I turned in the nearby street, I spied a couple standing near their car and what do you know it was Saintsmadhouse. I joined them for a little search and soon enough my first thoughts on GZ were confirmed, but well I had looked and missed it and headed off in another direction. Soon enough though the cache was collected and names added to the log.

Today I worked in the morning and went looking for a couple of caches in the arvo.
A quick find and dry, surprisingly, as it was in a small puddle of water.
The hiding spot is a little drier now.
Thanks for the cache.

Phone would not log onto coordinates but just kept searching. My son had been here before and said it had been moved but great cache anyway. Had a bit of trouble not being seen by muggles. Thank you.
Love the container and the hiding spot. All dry and safe. Rehid well. Tftc. Labufam
We checked on this cache yesterday afternoon
The cache is definitely in he right place but please just remember to recover well
Happy caching

We were nearby and decided to call in to check out the site. We'd heard some rumors there were remnants of the old farm here and apart from some of older trees which may have been planted when this site was part of Rudds farm, didn't find any. Which is unsurprising since the farm house was closer to Mudgeeraba itself.
The cache was actually exposed when we found it and admittedly we felt rather exposed looking for it. To be honest i suspect that. The part of the tree where I found it probably wasn't the original location but were I suspect it belonged was quite wet.
Thanks for the cache.

Nice little find! We pulled up down the bottom of the park and walked around. Starting walking up to the location and a muggle pulled up right in front of it. Had to wander for a bit longer until the coast was clear. Signed the log and put it back safe and sound.
Nice little finding spot, log was kinda hard to pull out but a bit of effort got it out
Spare time to fill in today with the GeoKids so this was a great convenient Cache spot. Good hide, although Cache was sadly in a very wet state when we found it. We cleaned & dried it out as best as we could, but the logbook definitely needs replacement so we were unable to log our visit. We swapped a treasure & re-hid TFTC
Found it fine but was completely water logged. There was water in the zip lock bag so the log was completely saturated
Found this cache and its contents on the ground. Maybe it needs a more camouflaged container. The log book plastic bag had a hole in it. I put it in with the swaps. TFTC
Quick find. Cache is a little damp but not damaged. Left swag
Cheers

Lovely park with lots of rubbish. I will come back but next time I'll bring some garbage bags and CITO. Also I picked the wrong time of day - school pickup!
Second stop then a quick dash to work. Managed to park reasonably close with a short wander down to GZ. Found inbetween passing traffic and once again headed back to the car to sign. Log book try but a bit of water inside container.

Found this one covered in and full of water. Tried to empty the water and dry the contents, log book is still dry and ok to sign. I've moved it to a drier location, however the co-ords should still remain accurate. I've also notified the CO when moving it. Thanks!
Grabbed this cache after doing a little shopping at nearby Robina Town Centre. Cache was a little exposed when I got here so added a few sticks on top of the grass clippings to stop them being blown away in the future. TFTC. SL.
I was out with Blacklegend today and even though we were starting later we were both looking forward to a big day.
BL had seen some new ones come up in this area when he checked the map so we headed here to grab them first.
This one had been out a little longer but still new, BL had been out to find it but we were driving past so I was able to grab it myself.
We only had this and 1 more before we headed back to the other side of the motorway for some other new ones.
We had a little joke together about the name of the cache with its location but then I had a cache to find.
We were parked very close so it was a quick park and grab for me and an easy find.
Thanks Ash & Shaun TFTC SL

Made the same mistake as Radnoski, but once I came to the realization that the gps actually knows what it is doing the cache was in hand in seconds

Had an opportunity to get out today with my 2yo boy Riley and grab around 20 finds. Was happy with the day, finding new caches and some older ones I had been to before, but not been able to find. Got them all this time. Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches.

Heading home after a bit of caching and decided to swing by this little park. Fig Trees and geocachers seem to get together quite a bit.
After searching all the wrong spots I decided to actually follow the GPSr to the correct co-ords and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks for the cache ash&shaun1003. Cheers!!
Find number 1855.... so here is something you didn't know (or maybe did know) about 1855...... The "Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855" resulted from the 1855 Exposition Universelle de Paris, when Emperor Napoleon III requested a classification system for France's best Bordeaux wines which were to be on display for visitors from around the world. Brokers from the wine industry ranked the wines according to a château's reputation and trading price, which at that time was directly related to quality.
The wines were ranked in importance from first to fifth growths (crus). All of the red wines that made it on the list came from the Médoc region except for one: Château Haut-Brion from Graves. The white wines, then of much less importance than red wine, were limited to the sweet varieties of Sauternes and Barsac and were ranked only from first great growth to second growth.

Found on my way home today. Love that they have left some of the old dairy farm. I did like it better "in the old days' when this was all farmland. Thanks ash&shaun1003.
Saw these published and thought there was a possibility of going early in the morning. Then I realized I had a busy morning coming up. Thinking some more, the temptation was too great. But, what to do. I don't like going at night on my own and geohubby was already asleep and not going anywhere. I called a daughter living nearby and she was out, but her husband was home and his brother was visiting so he said he would come with me. Hence the two of us located this cache and I am very pleased to say the late night drive was worth it as we were FTF at 10:55pm. Thanks for the new caches ash&shaun. [^][^] This cache brought us back to close to the corner petrol station where I met my son-in-law earlier in the evening. It worked out very well.
