Hi Treking Trev,The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention, or it may not but in the absence of the cache owner performing maintenance and/or disabling the cache to check it out, I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 4 weeks) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.Ngaambul - Matt
Seemed like it could be a quick find but didn't have high hopes given the preceding DNFs. Not a great road to pull over on, but no luck here.
Took us a little while, but eventually found it with the hint. Good hiding spot - TFTC
Found it a few posts south of where GPS indicated. Thanks for the cache Treking Trev
We found this cache while caching along with iloook4geo. Both names were soon added to the log and all was replaced as it had been found. Love the murals we have seen along the roads. Thanks for the cache go to Treking Trev.
Gathering some more finds along with goingplaces2 and enjoyed the caches we found. Happy to add another smiley to the map. TFTC.
I appreciate having these sound barriers filled with artwork. Arriving at GZ, we couldn’t find anything so walked along in opposite directions, The Marble heading north and while I went south, until I spotted the cache. Along the way, I passed a lovely chrysalis attached to the wall. Thanks Treking Trev
DisSister went one way and I went the other and she chose the right direction, typical. Cache safe and dry. TFTC
Looked along the mural, north and south of given coords, found at S 27 10.133 E 152 58.886, not sure if cache has legs, but all else is in good condition, Thanks Treking Trev
I was out today chasing a few caches and trying to keep a few challenges alive. Somehow, I found myself down this way. I am not sure as to how I got here but in passing I saw there was a cache nearby, so I went to investigate. There were a few cars going past, but once you are in the bush they do not even know you are there, lol. This one I found a few poles down (north) from the suggested coordinates. I quickly signed the log, replaced as I found it and quickly got out of there before I was spotted. Thanks for the cache, all good with this one.
We parked opposite the mural and made our way across the road where the cache was soon spotted using the coords in a previous log. All good with this one. Thanks for the cache Treking Trev.
2nd find for us this afternoon - 10.11.22.

Treking Trev I found your cache Mural II again on 21/9/2022, 12:05 pm. This is my find 4265 and find # 7 today. With the help of the corrected coordinates it was a quick and easy drive by. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Found the goodies 14m S of GZ for me. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching. TFTC Treking Trev

Today, the plan was a kayak along Hays Inlet with a small group of adventurous folk. Launching from Clontarf, we initially headed west to the small cluster of geocaches around Freshwater Creek, before proceeding north up the inlet towards Saltwater Creek. Increasing winds towards lunch did cut the adventure short for a few kayakers, and it was a hard slog kayaking back against the south-easterly gales.
Following the kayak, I had the afternoon for solo geocaching, visiting a variety of places along the coastline. This included Scarborough with a few *Witch's Hat* geocaches, then Newport with the *Newport Canal* series, followed by a visit to Deception Bay and the completion of the *D'bay Heritage Trail* Adventure Lab. I then returned towards Brisbane following a few service roads in Narangba and Dakabin picking up a few miscellaneous geocaches as it turned dark.
These were some pretty cool murals here, admiring the artwork as I parked pretty much at GZ. It did take me some time to search, looking around at all of the possible hiding spots, and I even had to resort to past logs to help guide my focus. In the end, I made the cache find about 13 m away from the posted coordinates, with my GPS indicating GZ to be at S 27° 10.131' E 152° 58.883'. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. As I was signing the logbook and flicking through, I did note that about half of those who have logged online recently haven’t actually signed the physical logbook? How strange. Thanks Treking Trev for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

We were driving home from delivering a load of hay to Kilcoy. We decided before heading to bunnings to grab a couple of things to complete Leathebowler/ Mumma Bear’s current gardening project we would have lunch at the tavern nearby.
This cache is close to our hearts as this is the first ever geocache we looked for, we shortly realised that we had not been back to find this one after a few DNF’s when we were still newbies. So, we set out to find this one and turn it into a yellow smiley face finally after coming here previously and unfortunately coming up empty handed resulting in a Blue sad face on out maps.
Before leaving the geocar (track my adventures D78QWZ) we re-read the description, the hint, the messages from the very friendly Cache Owner to both Leathebowler / MummaBear and ourselves, confirming the Difficulty and Terrain and the previous finder’s logs.
We set off to walk to the GZ. DFC was directing us where to go. So, we started our walk over to the GZ, discussing about where this geocache could possibly be located and if it was still there due to the pervious time Leathebowler / MummaBear was here the container was unfortunately missing. We got the GZ and started our search for this cache.
Thankfully after a decent search in the wrong place we worked out we were in the incorrect place and regrouped. Shortly after we had the cache in hand, and we added our ink marks to the geocache log and replaced the geocache exactly as we found it. Then we headed back to the Geocar and Leathebowler for JLK to start writing this log.
FINALLY FOUND THIS CACHE!!!!
Thanks for the Cache Trekking Trev
Thanks for the Hunt.

Catching up on some logging today, so a bit of a generic log, I'm afraid.
hatzofff decided I needed to get out. We did this my returning Grannysmoth1947 to her home, so a pick up on the way.

So excited when this one came up as being reactivated kids and I made a quick stop this morning... we had scoured for it before it was deactivated... We had found it after rereading the description a couple of times as the gps was a bit off but easy find and sign the log. TFTC TrekingTrev!
We scoured at the base of all the trees next to this barrier. We can’t find any sign of the GC... we did notice though it looks this tree has had a broken limb and prune and this area where the co-ords point to GZ is quite clean compared to other parts of this area...
we will try again another day but if this is the spot fear it may be gone...

After a long and (I thought) thorough search, I have to admit defeat.....Oh, the shame!!!!!
But the area has been cleaned up recently....................or did I just have a boy look????

Nothing obvious. We didn’t look for long given the last person looked for 30 min and couldn’t find.
Did not find. Searched for over half an hour at the base of the trees and right next to the wall but had no luck unfortunately
Quick find. Amazed at the residual heat bouncing off the mural wall!! Thanks for making us stop to appreciate the mural. I found the neighbouring one some months ago.
Great find! A bit of rock n rolling

I was a little bored at home and it’s been a few days since I’ve been out caching, so I thought I’d head out to grab a few caches in an area I was at recently, but didn’t have the time to clean up the rest of them, so here I am today.
Had a pleasant afternoon out, plenty of mozzies are still lingering around with all the rain we’ve had recently, but other then that it was great.

Heading north to get the kiddos for the week and a big accident on the highway pushed me on to the service road. Not to worry, there's a cache along here.
Had to be almost invisible, there was that much traffic passing by to get passed the crash made it incredibly difficult. But the cache was quickly in hand, signed and replaced and I was off, tracking north to Landsborough.
Thanks for the ache Treking Trev, was in good condition and makes smiley #647

On our way down to Redcliffe after work to stay the night on our boat at Newport, ready for some maintenance work tomorrow. I needed a cache for today & this one was conveniently not far off our route. We were taking the Deception Bay exit anyway.
Hard to park very close - found somewhere & walked up. Even a bit of traffic this late at night. Found the cache fairly quickly but not really at the location in the hint. No longer at the base of a tree but something else.
We disturbed a lot of ants hiding in the cache location, so it was a very quick sign, replace & run away.

Great Cycle Challenge takes place in October and participants will pedal as many kilometres as they can throughout the month.
All funds raised from the event will be used to fight kids' cancer to help children across Australia who are bravely fighting this terrible disease.
