BallinaBenny please don’t try to shame others. The CO clearly states if you can’t open it send a photo and log it. Following CO instructions. Its called sarcaching, where you follow the CO hint to cheat and take it to the nth degree. Lightenup and have fun. Strange thing, targeting disabled caches for a find, logging only an isolated note after a year not caching - seems like trolling to me.
G'day,

Claiming find. Can’t seem to open a missing object but can see clearly where it was attached.
Have sent photo to CO. Looks like cache has gone but evidence remains of where it was. Thanks
This afternoon, I decided to head out and explore a few noteworthy parks in south Brisbane. This is the second, and I have been meaning to check out Bowies Flat for at least a few months. I parked up and seeing the map of the area, decided to check out all the walkways.
Oh, and of course I remembered to check the geocaching app and noticed this geocache nearby. A nice addition to the stroll and explore. Wandering around, I got thinking about this place. It's pretty muddy and choked up looking. I pondered if that's entirely normal and natural places don't exist to appeal to humans. Or, maybe it is polluted somewhat after years of doing it's job and genuinely needs a bit of attention.
Either way, there was birds and fish and dragonflies to be seen. At GZ, I let the phone narrow in on GZ and I began looking. I had no joy, so checked the hint and past logs. Hm, I looked with a few ideas in mind - even checking the grass. Nope. I cross-referenced some previous photos but there's no geocache here. If it was on the grass, a council mower could have sent it almost into orbit!
Ah well, no smiley, but I got to carry on my walk along the boardwalk and enjoy seeing this park - finally!

This geocache seems to have a habit of being found out in the open, or on the grass. And it hasn't been found in a few months. Some 10-15 minutes of dedicated searching today showed no trace of the geocache. Would appreciate the owner to check it out for us
Spotted a possible contender that seemed a little out of place, but alas no luck. Will come back some other time for another look.
Driving past and decided to grab it. A very clever cache - immediately obvious to any cacher but a muggle is unlikely to think anything of it. Tftc - all in good stead.
Last one for today. 11 finds and 1 DNF. Found the cache lying on the ground so replaced where it should be and hope it lasts. Nice area - thanks for bring me here. Tftc
Great little hide they found this one sprawled out all over the floor signed and placed back in its intended place. Thanks so much for placing.
Quick find but cache not bolted on, lying visible on ground. Moved so out of sight but only a pace away.
Staying in Brisbane, visiting muggle friends who live nearby and they knew this cache was here. So after a short walk they guided us to nearby but as we were looking they said it wasn't where it was supposed to be. After a quick look it was spotted in the grass, noticed the previous log finder said they replaced it as well, maybe someone is pulling it off. Anyway we put it back but didn't have the right tools to do it up tight so suggest the CO check it out when they can

Playing at the play ground, we checked for local cache… never been to the wetlands before .
It was unbolted on the ground put it back best we could.

So happy to have fun this in the fading light. It was pouring here and had to qait to go and find a geocache. Had to find on as today is 2/2/22
After grabbing a cache at the other end of the park we sauntered down the path to look for this one. We immediately saw the hide and thought this would be quick work.
However, it wasn’t. The lid was somehow on so tight that we couldn’t budge it. We’ve all been there where you are asked to open a jar of pickles and the lid just won’t move. Your masculinity is called into question when you can’t open a simple jar. My usual goto for opening a stuck jar is to smack that glass on the ass so hard your hand starts hurting. Then it finally does come open and you have pickle juice all over your clothes.
Unfortunately we couldn’t smack this cache on the backside and no amount of muscle juice was going to set it free. Mrs Woodyrothwell was using all her proctology skills and was able to touch the log but we just couldn’t remove it. We took the mandatory photo to claim the find and my manliness was left in tatters. tftc

We found it and loosened it a bit so people can get into. also left a fresh log in a sandwich bag. still left the old log
Yep, the cache is probably what you're thinking. Considered just sending a photo, but got the lid off with great difficulty instead. Log is sooooo wet and mouldy so couldn't even sign anyway. Definitely needs some maintenance. No ducks here today TFTC
An easy find....& using an improvised TOTT, I WAS able to open it, to reveal a small bag of mush... So, I added a sturdy plastic bag, & a clean temporary log sheet. & T4TC: Well hidden in plain sight...
Thanks heaps for cache owner allowing me to log this. Am back dating on day I found container. Thank you! X.
Was lead to this cache pretty quickly but was initially a bit skeptical that this was what we were looking for, especially when any attempt at removing the lid was made in vain. Sent a photo to the CO and it was confirmed. Great little spot. TFTC!
Found quickly but getting into it was another story. I tried. Tszd4 tried. I tried again. Nothing. A message to CO to claim cache was required. Wish we got it open but happy to have logged a yellow smiley.
This evening, @jesswrigley and I popped out after work to head to the southern suburbs, passing this geocache as we went. We parked nearby and made the short walk to GZ. There were only a couple of ducks spotted in the nearby lake.
Upon arriving, we suspected the cache hide, but it was difficult to gain access, and so we started to second guess our thoughts. After hopping the fence and looking around the area, we returned to our initial suspicion, but still no access possible. A subsequent TOTT was utilised, and sure enough, it was indeed the cache little hide. The outer camouflage had slightly rusted on, which made it much more difficult to find (that perhaps normal).
The cache container was in good shape, but the logbook was well and truly drenched, with the whole little bag full of water. A CO visit to this one is recommended at this current time. Thanks eatmorchikin for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Found it. Very clever. There was a huge debate if it was or not. Unable to open lid but logged with creator. Many thanks.
I didn't manage to open it but I'm emailing (and I'm scared of the mould stories) eatmorchikin to confirm.
We were in this Area today, having just completed an adventure lab, and so thought we would continue our drive down to the water here. In the shade it was indeed a degree or two cooler than out in the sun, so it made a search a little more pleasant.
After a short search, we spied what we were seeking and it did take a couple of minutes to be able to retrieve the log, which noted by others is quite wet. We have added another piece of paper.
Thanks eatmorechickin.

Log is a sodden mouldy mess and needs replacing. Perhaps the container needs to be modified to let any water accumulated out too.
Out with La Kedi and DisSister. This was a great hide but sadly not waterproof. Hopefully some modification can be made to improve the outcome. Great effort and thanks for the cache.
I really appreciate the effort that went into the construction of this cache. No problems removing lid but log is a mouldy sodden mess and unsignable. TFTC eatmorchikin
I really liked the premise of this hide, but unfortunately the contents were sodden and black with mould and the logbook was completely unsignable. Plenty of Jemimas about though!

Out today to continue my challenges of a traditional a day and a cache a day, plus we needed to visit relatives on this side of town. With time limited we only had time for a few a caches and this was one of them.
This was a fun cache for charli as she has a best friend called jemina and is often called jemima puddle duck so it was a fun one for her. The cache was easy to find however it was full of water and the log was wet and unable to sign, photos sent to CO. Maintenance is required on this cache, it is easy enough to open but water remains in the cache making everything inside wet.
Thank you for placing this cache here, a nice place to visit.

Thanks EMC we love this one! Had to send a pic but will try to open when cruising by on our scooters next time
Headed south early to try and find a few caches before the big gaseous ball in the sky made outdoor activities unpleasant. Searched where the T rating suggested, and found something that looks unusual but like it belongs at the same time! A quick check revealed a dry log.

What an interesting way to hide a cache and it yet it still took us longer than it should of to find it. Lovely area and great idea. TFTC
Wow! Never seen one like that before! Left a little meow in there for the next person! TFTC
Think I had tried this one a few years ago and hadn't been able to open it. Today was the same but found something handy that helped me get it open. Log was satched so replaced it with a new one and its all tickety boo here.

Found but log was too wet to sign. Have photo.
Found wile out and about Gunnie69.
With the jewels all found, we had the information we needed to get the vault open. Today it was around Greenslopes and Coorparoo.
Thanks for the cache and hunt.

On a mission to ensure Ghostgums could open "the vault", we had a list of grabs we needed to collect to ensure he secured the required number of icons. [^]
No problem spotting the cache in this instance and getting to the log was also easy enough. Sadly, unable to etch our names as the log was too wet. We snapped a pic for the CO if required, then returned everything as found and moved on.
I do love a nicely constructed in plain sight cache, well done eatmorchikin.

Came by here after my dental visit. Parking was easy and the area is very pleasant. (had a little through before looking for cache)
I found cache and was impressed... but couldn't lid would not budge.
I noticed the log sheet that handshow placed but even with tweezers I couldn't get it out to sign.
I have sent photo of find to CO as proof of find.

This was a really gorgeous park. Thank you so much for bringing me here. My Tilly and I really enjoyed the walk. I think I found the cache. Whoever was here before me really jammed the lid on tight and I couldn’t shift it no matter what I did. I’ve taken a photo of my find and sent it to the CO. I also signed a new nano log sheet and slipped it inside. Photo of a resident attached.
Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Jemillalucy, Bennyboppers, Remsjw and Lisylou). TFTC!
Found with bennyboppers jemillalucy mnance and remsjw today. Couldn't get lid off at first but found a natural tool to lodge it off. Tftc
Didn’t know this wetland was here, even after living in the area for a while. Looks like a bit of a clean up is about to happen with some council workstations set up ready to go. Thanks for cache
Night time find on my first day as officially homeless in Brisbane. Not as bad as it may sound but we are without a home.
The cache brought a smile to my face! Got it open and signed the log.
Good one!

Cache fixed - lid can now be removed. Please do not push on too tightly or we will be back to square one with this jamming again.
I was out with Selva Girls this afternoon on the way to meet her family to celebrate her birthday. We had some time, so stopped for a few caches. We knew we had found this one, we could see the log inside, but no matter what we tried we couldn't get it open. Selva Girls sent a message to the CO and she has kindly allowed us to log it. Tftc eatmorchikin!
I was to meet up with family for a celebration after work today. I was early, so my caching buddy and I decided to find a few caches. We located this one quite quickly, but no amount of pushing, pulling, twisting or turning would open the outer container. I took a picture, which I sent to the CO. They were gracious enough to allow us to log a find on this one. TFTC
Selva Girls and I were collecting a few caches before meeting her family for dinner. This one was nearby so we pulled up close to gz to make a find. We located the container without any trouble, but the lid was jammed on tightly and we couldn't budge it. Judging by some of the previous logs this has been the case for a little while. We confirmed that we were in the right spot, using our torches to spot the log inside. This container needs some attention to make it accessible once again.
Some time to kill today between work sessions so lets convert some green dots into smileys shall we.
Spotted this one from a mile away. Well maybe not a mile but you know. Unfortunately it was full of water. Emptied the water out but couldn’t open it. From looking at previous logs, and judging by the difficulty rating, I didn't think we were supposed to unbolt it, but the lid was not moving at all. I have a photo of it which I shall send to the CO to ensure I haven't done anything wrong, and hopefully she'll accept this as a find.
Thanks eatmorchikin, you seem to have caches all over the joint . Smiley #420

A quick find as soon as we viewed the irregularity at GZ. An obvious yet sneaky find. We like it.
Back in the area again today picking up my fishing rods from being repaired nearby. Tried for this one last week but couldn't get into the cache container. Today brought some reinforcements which did the trick but disturbed the black ants that have taken residence in the cache. Log sheet saturated so took it back to the car to do some maintenance. Bag had hole, logsheet wet so have replaced them both and returned them back to the hide. Some insect repellant might be helpful and a hole in the bottom of container to let water drain out might help this cache survive. Lovely location and interesting cache. Tftc a fav from me...
This is the first cache of yours we've found since we had the pleasure of meeting you. It's always nicer to find caches of people you've met. We had been here before but weren't able to find it as our gps was acting up, it was really hot and not everyone was interested in finding it that day. Today We wanted to go feed the ducks and remembered this place. It was my four year old who remembered there was a geocache here that we hadn't found yet even though it had been over a year since we were here. He wouldn't leave until we found it so it's lucky our gps was working, it wasn't crazy hot and we didn't have any party poopers tagging along. We didn't have trouble finding it but we did have trouble opening it. It appears the ants didn't have trouble finding it either. A clever find. Yet again, another one of your caches that we really enjoyed. Thank you!!!
