Logs
On to this cache I moved. The path became less obvious then back onto the soft sandy path I had envisaged from the beginning. This slowed me down a bit. As I approached GZ I again saw a logical place and headed that way.
Again I had to come in from the other direction before the cache was spotted. I opened the cache and two things fell out onto the ground. I did not recall either of them being a log. But after fishing around in the grass I found the log.
I considered walking a longer route back to the car, but I returned via the same path.

Out nd about boosting the learners hours so stopped to grab this one. Were loving the walk through here. Nice quick find TFTC
Initially walked straight past this one and spent a little time investigating other suspicious trees and an interesting orange fungi before coming back from a different angle and spotting it immediately. Very cool and sneaky.
Great made container = Fav. Quickly found. Logbook quite messed up, see pic. TFTC
Struep and me had some time and were near this area, so we decided to discover Tuart Forest for a bit. We were so happy to do so, as the caches turned out to be quite beautiful!!

TFTH TFTC! Day one of a huge caching trip with Barnzy12 to Bunbury for the weekend, an area we haven't ventured to for far too long with so many green dots on the map just waiting to be found.
We started off by grabbing all of the newly published ooh yeh heading south caches which hopefully one day can make their way all the way to Bunbury, and luckily they were positioned where they were with the newly installed fixed point to point camera nearby which may have nabbed us otherwise.
We got to Bunbury after grabbing a nearby archived team red roo cache and went to complete the skippy in the bush series which was a lovely walk around some suburban bushland with a great variety of plants and vegetation for us to see. All containers bar the disabled one found without issue. I might have to ask you where you get your magnets for the mint tins as they are highly effective baffle!!
We then grabbed a bunch of park and grabs around town which were pretty stock standard.
We then drove down to the Ludlow Forrest to complete the Bigfoot series of caches and some others in the bush. It was a lovely drive around on the 4x4, which handled the bush nicely even with a few obstacles. The highlight of the day was some ripper money box hides including big foots ATM, which lived up to the normal team money box standard
We closed out the first day with some park and grabs around town at dusk and into the evening. Thanks to the local COs for their caches so far..

Had a great time driving into this and another nearby cache, driving under fallen branches, watching the kids freak out and hoping that we weren't going to get stuck under neith them all the while mumbling about how upset Dad will be when they tell him (he wasn't too upset when I told him ) . I really had a knack that day for finding all the worst possible tracks to go down .
This was out last cache for the day and a great one to end a fun day out. TFTC Moneybox.

Whilst stomping about the forest on the way to this one a large tree branch fell not far way taking many other branches out on the way down. I was now very wary of any other cracking branches as they could likely alot of damage.
Quick find and I added a new log. TFTC.

I soon tracked down this little cache after a bike ride
Yep !! I could ride the bike along the track to this cache
Beyond this cache it all became a bit too sandy.
So here we were, looking for mushrooms
I found something that looked like a mushroom, but was not !! [:o]
Nice cache ... Ta !!

Inspired by the previous day's magical walk through the Ludlow Forest, I returned to discover more of the interesting caches in the area. I saw packs of kangaroos out today, some of them were only a few metres away before I even noticed them. Such a variety of things to discover out here. Beautiful and cute! Another quick and easy find here. TFTC Moneybox

Mrs M has a great eye for beauty while Mr M seems to be able to create beauty from almost any waste and decay. Great Job the both of you --- but only one fav available here.
