A bit busy at the moment, cant really maintain cache, feel I should open the spot for someone else to use as it is a amazing geocache spot
Cache not in good shape as noted by today's other visitor, logbook still there however, which I duly recorded my visit in. Great views from GZ today.

Container all but destroyed. Out in the open. No place to hide it - weeds have been sprayed. Definitely going to need owner intervention.
A fruitful find at the Merrilands Reserve, some nice views from the trig, many thanks for the cache.
What an interesting place..didn't know this orchard was here. Lovely view from up here also...thanks Cache was in plain view so covered it a bit..
Loved the community orchard concept. I wonder who has to mow the lawns and prune the trees etc?

We were over this side of town attending the Maker Madness event and picking up the caches at Merrilands Domain, and of course couldn't leave without coming here. The first street we tried we didn't spot the walkway so came around to the Milne Street entrance and walked up the path. We didn't spot the cache straight away, as we were looking for something less obvious. Dropped off some GeoCoins to weigh it down a bit. Thanks for the cache.
quick visit to swap geocoins for a nice lump of rock and a silver bear trinket. TFTC its a bit safer now. Blenheim Bear
Headed south with Zorgon for a bit of a trip through some backroads to find caches some distance from the next closest cache for a stage of the GCLS Challenge.
In town today for a local event before heading back north so have to collect as many caches as time will allow. quick walk to GZ before heading to the nearby Event

Nice one with the wind going to come up will it stay there may need a magnet or clamp TFTC
Found OK but like the previous log it was on the ground. Would strongly suggest a magnet if the CO would like to keep this cache live. I suspect the wind catches the container and lowers it a little.

I would just like to say that if you make a.premium member only cache, make sure it's only found by premium members as there's a bug in the c:geo app where non-premium members can see and log your cache D:

The GC was lying out in the open under the GSM on the ground. I left a Phronimos token and placed the GC back into its hidey place. Finally beat both TaraTed & Juty Bug to a GC!
Back in 2010 I used this as a Urban Rogaine control when I logged it as Waymark WM966N

Unbelievable - FTF. Saw some skid marks on the road and thought "looks likes Tara Ted has beaten us again" but no! Great views and a large community orchard - we should have more of these around the city. Never been to this spot before,thanks for showing us. TFTC
