Found it! After leaving Broken Hill before first light this morning I started caching from Wentworth. Now zigzagging here and there around the Mildura area getting as many caches as I can.Missed it on the first lap of GZ, spotted the hide on the second! TFTC!
Another delightful day in Mildura and surrounds. It started out a bit chilly, near 1 degree on the dashboard. Again it turned into a fantastic day with blue skies, sunshine and 18 degrees. No complaints from us at all.We wandered about a bit today finding interesting caches and locations. Thanks to Mebclever for this hide. We enjoyed our trip to Lock 10.
We found your cache today 9 May 2024 11:28am , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC Mebclever
Well my trip up to QOGM started a couple of weeks ago and I took the very indirect route up to outback QLD to get there. So after cruising up the Hume to Sydney then the M1 and A1 up to Byron Bay with a few other roads in between as I have been cris crossing a bit so after heading west and making it to Longreach time for a break from the travelling. So after a couple big days out to Stonehenge, Isisford and Ilfracombe, The Tritonz and Roaming Howie finally joined me and we did the puzzle trail. Then a fun first muster day to Muttaburra and back then a great tea event and a few more caches.A trip to Stonehenge and back again for them. The second muster day and boy what a busy day as there was a lot going on in the car with everything we had to do.Collect trads, look at photos, find some forks and then some property numbers as well. The Mexicans as we were called teamed up with a couple of other cars The Morris and Pool Pool to have a lot of fun over the radio.Well all the caches have been found and after another great dinner event QOGM has officially finished. This was my first QOGM and I had a great time, but all good things must come to end and today I must start heading towards home but Im also taking the very long way around back to Victoria. So this was state # 4 for me on this trip.Roaming Howie is joined me on part of the Strzelecki track and left me at Camerons Corner.I continued on down the track and stayed at Copley for the night and now heading to Wentworth. There was too much traffic on the Sturt Hwy so I took the Old Mail Rd to break up the drive.I have been to a few of the locks along the Murray just to check them out. Thanks Mebclever TFTC.
Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure, yes I know we have wandered over the border. Never mind, it is a wonderful day and we have joined forces with FelixII so we are off to see what we can find. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.
Full time nomads visiting Mildura to finally tackle the Paddle Steamer with iluvtrekking. Of course we have to stop in town and find some caches here before we go 'bush'. Great weather and a fun day out today, good company with lots of laughs and ooh ahhh at the clever caches we found. Plenty of fave point to give out today.

On our way back to SA after a wonderful week in Mildura. Thought we'd take the scenic route. Enjoying the view.

A quick find again for Mrs P once her 'Fruity' Smartphone settled its GPS signal. Clever camo for this one. Found on our way around to Wentworth for the afternoon. Cheers
Wow - what a great cache hide - so well planned and implemented. It is with pleasure that we give you a fav for it. We did enjoy finding your caches this am and we appreciate the effort and time you have spent in all of the so very many caches you have placed in Mildura and sourrounds.

As the clock ticked down RamaTim and I grew more and more desperate to grab a cache on day 30 of our 31 day challenge. After a few too many and very frustrating ‘did not finds’ we made our way out to a very reliable and well received easy find. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Day 30 of our 31 day challenge. Kelligula and I headed out and it got dark very quickly. After a few DNF we drove to this cache as a last resort and thank God Kelligula found it. This was the happiest find this month. TNLNSL TFTC
Another find by Aussie Mark while heading to the river for a spot of fishing with Joan and Bill.

Perfect weather for caching, we headed out west of Mildura to Fort Courage, adding a few more smiley tokens to our collection.
This section of The Old Mail Road is in great condition, not so sure about the western end!
Thanks Mebclever for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Glad to be travelling on this road now and not way back when, the trip was a breeze with some fantastic views over the surrounding area. What a totally different feel from when we left Mildura only a short drive away a little earlier. Thanks Mebclever for the cache.
Feeling sad about our DNF we got back into the car and started to head back into town. Princess Peach was on the ball with this one and found it, and by found it I mean she said 'its not this thing is it?' TFTC
Decided to write out a list and go for an adventure around the Merbein area, areas I have never been before.
Found this cache fast, I found this one and was quite proud! I looked at it and didnt think it was the cache then we checked and it was! YAY!

Another totally mangled log book! I have seen so many over the past few days, it makes me cross. When will people learn to take more care. Sorry, rant over. I was a bit concerned when I saw the location, how would I find a micro in a bush, but it wasn't as hard as I expected. Thanks for the lovely, well prepared cache hide. Cache #2430.
Had leap day off and needed to fill that one last day on the calendar.
Closest event for the day was in Mildura, and I'm in the riverland, so
the old mail road it was...
Found the road, the cache and went through to the lock.

Adelaide trip September 2015. I spend five days driving to Adelaide taking some more remote routes across the river land area and exploring new places along the way. Day 2. Today was the day to head along the rivers from Balranald to Lock 8 via Mildura and the old mail route caches. Plenty of signs of wet roads, but all dried out now. Some mazing country along the way.
Thanks.

Getting to this cache was a long and lonely road along the "Old Mail Road"
Bumpy in patches and muddy in others
Just how I like me roads [^]
Here at the turn off to Lock 10, I poked around for a cache and after the initial frustrations of not spying it , had it in paw eventually

On our way from neds corner to mildura, called in and saw some gorgeous paper daisies in flower. Made my day!
Found with the hero husband, Moneydork, while we were away for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. Thank you.
Out to find the last three cache in the area for us. Nice quick drive by on the way to the river
The camping area near this location is lovely but unfortunately we didn't think we could get our caravan in here. Just as well that today we didn't have the van with us. Great place to visit & lots of lovely big trees too. TFTC
FTF, was just about to head back to the car to grab the GPS, as the phone couldnt decide where I was looking, and there it was, TFTC
