Travelling from Renmark to Mildura today doing some caching along the way, a detour into this area to pick up a few caches before we get into town proper. A quick find, all good at GZ, TFTC
Another delightful day in Mildura and surrounds. It started out a bit chilly, near 1 degree on the dashboard. Again it turned into a fantastic day with blue skies, sunshine and 18 degrees. No complaints from us at all.We wandered about a bit today finding interesting caches and locations. Thanks to Mebclever for this hide.
We found your cache today 9 May 2024 11:20am , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC Mebclever
Well my trip up to QOGM started a couple of weeks ago and I took the very indirect route up to outback QLD to get there. So after cruising up the Hume to Sydney then the M1 and A1 up to Byron Bay with a few other roads in between as I have been cris crossing a bit so after heading west and making it to Longreach time for a break from the travelling. So after a couple big days out to Stonehenge, Isisford and Ilfracombe, The Tritonz and Roaming Howie finally joined me and we did the puzzle trail. Then a fun first muster day to Muttaburra and back then a great tea event and a few more caches.A trip to Stonehenge and back again for them. The second muster day and boy what a busy day as there was a lot going on in the car with everything we had to do.Collect trads, look at photos, find some forks and then some property numbers as well. The Mexicans as we were called teamed up with a couple of other cars The Morris and Pool Pool to have a lot of fun over the radio.Well all the caches have been found and after another great dinner event QOGM has officially finished. This was my first QOGM and I had a great time, but all good things must come to end and today I must start heading towards home but Im also taking the very long way around back to Victoria. So this was state # 4 for me on this trip.Roaming Howie is joined me on part of the Strzelecki track and left me at Camerons Corner.I continued on down the track and stayed at Copley for the night and now heading to Wentworth. There was too much traffic on the Sturt Hwy so I decided to take the Old Mail Rd to break up the drive. No stock grid left today and the cache was soon spotted. Thanks Mebclever TFTC.
Southern Autumn adventure Day 59. Mildura Trip Day 8. Everyone from Canberra has now headed off and I have a couple more days here. The day started with some Labs and a few caches near Mildura and Gol Gol, before I headed over to Merebin again to target another Riverside area flush with caches. I had a very enjoyable walk around a billabong with some very interestingly themed caches and then another series that I was happy to be able to drive along. It was another great day with rain threatening on and off, but I managed to stay dry while out of the car (just for the big walk). I then headed home via a few more of the outer region caches that always seemed a little out of the way, but I had time for today.
I revisited two old DNFs. I must say this one is a lot easier now the main item is no longer here. I am happy to have found this one now.
Thanks for the cache Mebclever

All the recent rain and the current high river locally cancelled our long weekend away, so exploring some caches closer to home today!
Quick find, TFTC!
Quick find, TFTC!
Found by Mary and David at 11:45. We were looking for the grid. Sigh! Love this country and big sky. Our thanks to Mebclever.
Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure, yes I know we have wandered over the border. Never mind, it is a wonderful day and we have joined forces with FelixII so we are off to see what we can find. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.
Full time nomads visiting Mildura to finally tackle the Paddle Steamer with iluvtrekking. Of course we have to stop in town and find some caches here before we go 'bush'. Great weather and a fun day out today, good company with lots of laughs and ooh ahhh at the clever caches we found. Plenty of fave point to give out today.

#4594 Must have arrived at peak hour here, just as we pulled up a car went past. Fortuanately that was it for peak hour and we flushed out the cache after a few minutes of searching either side of the stock grid in peace. TFTC Mebclever.
Found on a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Team Waldron, Brisal5 and FeatherWaite. Our main targets were the Paddle Steamer and Turtle geoart series' but we also took the opportunity to seek out a few other caches along the way.
We were fortunate with the weather. After a burst of very hot days, we timed our trip nicely to coincide with the milder conditions before the next hot spell. That helped to make both the caching and the camping along the Murray River and in the Murray-Sunset National Park very pleasant.
We ended up finding all the caches that we had targeted. Most were in good order. Some of the puzzles were quite challenging and there were some very novel and entertaining multi's. Some certainly took a bit of finding and there were many very clever and/or tricky caches and containers that were a credit to the cache owners’ ingenuity. We signed most logbooks 'B.E.F.W.'
It would have been good to have had another day or two to complete the remaining caches in the area, but I’m sure we’ll be back.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the hides.

I have seen a T shirt with Sleep Eat Cache Repeat [^] Well a four day trip to Mildura with caching friends Team Waldron, E.gregory and FeatherWaite certainly fit that bill. Logs were signed with initials only for the teams - BEFW
Up at daybreak, quick breakfast and cache all day stopping only to have a snack whilst out on the trails, rush to set up camp near dusk for a meal, then perhaps some night caching, early night and REPEAT!
Strategic camping at Kings Billabong, Rocket lake and The Common meant we were close by the Geoart and target night caches. Two previous trips in 2013 and 2016 by me and some by E.gregory meant we visited some (well quite a few actually) previous finds but that made it quick for the people that hadn't found them previously.
I can't thank the CO's of these caches enough as some were really very inventive. Even having solved most puzzles before we came we were confronted with field puzzles and gadgets that were just mind boggling. [:X][:X][:X]
***Thanks Mebclever for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Found during a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Brisal5, e.gregory1 and Team Waldron with the main aim to complete the Paddle Steamer and Turtle GeoArt series but also to find other caches along the way. We camped out on the banks of the Murray River near Mildura on the first night, at Rocket Lake campground in the Murray-Sunset National Park on the second night, then back to the banks of the Murray River near Merbein on the last night. We signed the logs as B.E.F.W. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing the cache!
Found it. Thanks for the cache. Left a note. On holidays in sunny weather along the Murray.
Evilracing found this omg that’s a quick find n amazing dirt roads to shacking up your mornings haha lucky we love the dirt
Not as easy to find as we thought it would be when we pulled up. Our GPS signals had both Mrs P and myself on the wrong side of the road for a while until a lucky glance by the better half spots it tucked away nicely. Simple but clever hide, nice work again Mebclever
Found it
Well done
Enjoyed the search with wombat but the gps was miss leading 3500

Aussie Mark, Father Bill, and Mum Joan, headed via this road and 4 caches to a fishing spot for part of Easter Saturday.
It took longer than it should of here, before Mark made the find.

Perfect weather for caching, we headed out west of Mildura to Fort Courage, adding a few more smiley tokens to our collection. The road was dry enough for us today.
Satellites today had our GZ 7 metres NW of where we found the cache.
Thanks Mebclever for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

On reading some older logs it appears that we made this a very quick find, me thinks that it is not in its usual hiding spot. Managed a quick find but the CO may need to recheck its hidey hole, oh I can hear the boo's and hisses from fellow cachers now. Thanks Mebeclever for the hide.
Another find by Princess Peach, I was looking on the wrong side of the road when she made the find. Two in a row for her is an all time new record! TFTC
Decided to write out a list and go for an adventure around the Merbein area, areas I have never been before.
We were looking in the wrong places for this one!! then i looked in somewhere i thought looked kind of cool, the cache how ever must have fallen as it was not attached to anything, I called Lord Rossatron over and was excited I had retrieved the cache, ouchies prickles though

I made this way harder than it needed to be! First I took a roundabout route in, when I could have come in a much more direct fashion if I had done my research instead of making assumptions and then at GZ I was on my hands and knees with the torch and mirror out. As I scanned around once more the cache became obvious, how did I not see that earlier! Cache #2429.
Had leap day off and needed to fill that one last day on the calendar.
Closest event for the day was in Mildura, and I'm in the riverland, so
the old mail road it was...
Don't think there's any stock anymore, but found your cache!

family cache day out for TheCatBandits to keep the CatKids happy. Found cache no worries on our way home after a very long hot day. TFTC
I had a quick poke around for this cache yesterday arvo, but found nothing after 15 minutes
So I headed off down the side track to camp by the river for the night
Refreshed after a good nights sleep, I returned this morning for more poking
And after another 20 minutes finally worked out what the trick to this well concealed cache was
The placement is perfect to avoid detection, and the colour of the cache itself helps to keep it out of sight
It was only after frustration had set in and me mind said "IT HAS TO BE THERE !!" that I stuck me fingers into the right spot to find the elusive little beastie
TFTC by the side of a lonely road !! [^]

This one took a little while, we were gingerly poking around with sticks not wanting to disturb anything we didn't want to know about, when I looked up and saw it, and just as I said 'got it' the Moose looked up and saw it too. Which was good.. coz I was just about to give up. Thanks for the hide.
Found by Roma and Max.
It took us a while to locate this little container accompanied by the waft of some nearby deceased fauna on the gentle breeze blowing today!
Thank you again Mebclever.
