Clever hide. Need TOTT to extract log from Camo.

14-Jan-23
After enjoying a morning sleep in and then a stellar coffee at a local cafe to get me going for the morning, I got stuck into the “administrative tasks” that I needed to do for my Saturday morning. Once I finally completed all my chores for the day, I hit the road for some caching. This was one of my stops.

Found without any dramas. The lid lips have cracked off making the container difficult to open. It needs replacing. Cheers Fernandogirls! Big Grin

Second find on a mountain bike ride from Kalamunda out to Pickering Brook and back on the newly-signposted trails. Quickly spotted. The lid is brittle and pinged off as it's not attached any more. Took a while to find it in the undergrowth Wink Put it all back together but might need a new inner container. TFTC!

I spent far too long overthinking the clue and looking on the wrong side of the track. The moment I laid eyes on it I knew I'd found it. All in good condition, thanks for the cache.

Out for a day of exploration & dodging rain, this was one of the caches we found on our travels... Another quick find here, although we nearly thought we had to bush bash to get there Razz

TFTC Fernandogirls [^] Log book was sopping wet, so we gave it a dry in the wind before moving on to the next cache.

08-Jul-16
TFTC! Spent the day out caching with Barnzy12 and krabiBoy. We went to the suburbs of Lesmurdie, Kalamunda and Carmel chasing a number of quick and easy park and grabs, a few
Archived caches, and a few caches that helped fill some DT Grid.

We changed the dynamic up today, Barnzy Drove and i instantly regretted the decision not to take my car however it was due for a service and i was now the navigator. So we picked KrabiBoy up from Bayswater area where he was getting some extra bits added to his car.

We chased a heap of nanos and micro caches in Kalamunda, a few of which seemed to be missing, which was quite frustrating, and we had some DNFs through there. We then avoided other micros in the area and concentrated on some simple park and grabs to get the numbers up for the day.

We then moved our attention to the lesmurdie falls national park and grabbed a few odd caches in there including a nice and simple Earth Cache.

We moved further into lesmurdie area and grabbed a few of the small bunches of caches placed by fernandogirls, which were mostly nice quick grabs. The outback jack series was next which we completed quickly before heading to the car to grab the final in the series, which has been on the radar for far too long.

Thanks to the COs for a Great day out and we can't wait to come back for more!!

TFTC! Spent the day out caching with Cravo10 and krabiBoy. We caches out the suburbs of Lesmurdie, Kalamunda and Carmel chasing a number of quick and easy park and grabs, a few
Archived caches, and a few caches that helped fill some of KrabiBoys DT Grid.

We changed the dynamic up today, with Cravos car in for a service we had to take my car and have me drive and him on the Nav, which is an interesting role reversal from the norm.

We encountered some decent terrain through the area, which really got the heart racing and even had me forgetting to navigate us to the last cache in a small loop we grabbed!!

We moved further into lesmurdie area and grabbed a few of the small bunches of caches placed by fernandogirls, which were mostly nice quick grabs before turning our attention to the last loop I had left of the outback jack series, which we completed quickly before heading to the car to grab the final in the series, which has been on the radar for far too long.

All in all it was a great day, with many tall tales told and war stories shared. A fair bit of piss take on my driving skills and Cravos navigation skills until we decided to restore order by having Cravo drive my new car! Which thankfully came
Back in one piece.

Thanks to the COs for a lovely day out and we can't wait to come back for more!!

07-Jul-16
For a long time, Barnzy12, cravo10 and I have been trying to tee up a day to head out and grab some caches. Finally the planets aligned and we were able to get out and about today.

We headed up the hill to start clearing up some of the caches around Lesmurdie and Carmel.

Nice quick one.

TFTC Fernandogirls.

12-Jul-15
Arrived at GZ and Geohubby said that's a nice ?one? and threw me something which I looked at and agreed and put back down. After looking around for ages decided to look at the hint and realised we had found it straight away luckily Gypsy Geodog didn't start playing with it. The log was really wet so we decided to sit and have a drink put the log in the sun to dry before heading off. Thanks for a great hide.

01-Jun-15
It was worth reading the hint

15-May-15
Back in the Hills again to find a handful of the apparently infinite amount of caches to improve the stats a little bit.
For the first part of the day I parked the car and walked around in the bush. The challenge was more to find the right track to get to the next hide. The wide variety of hides kept me smiling on the way.
I liked this one, good camo, TFTH.

19-Apr-15
It was my nephews birthday in the hills so i took the opportunity to find a few caches before going to the party. After doing the series in the Stinton cascades reserve series and the last day of the school holidays series ahead of time I set off to pick up a few other caches. This little series of caches was a nice addition to my mornings tally. I enjoyed the variety of caches this little area had. Being out of place I had theon nicely constructed cache sussed on approach. A nice cache that a geocacher can spot from some distance but a muggle probably wouldn't look at twice. TFTC.

25-Mar-15
Had a bit of time to spare so came up to the hills this afternoon to track down some more of the local caches. Picked up six Fernandogirls caches in about 40 minutes and every one was a pleasure to find, always keeping me on my toes.

Arrived at GZ here and noticed something a little odd and had the cache in hand very quickly.

The last time I was in Bickley, there was only a handful of caches to be found in the vast reaches of the bush. It is great to see that there are so many reasons to make multiple trips up to the hills to find such a wide variety of caches. I took another early morning tour of the area today. The weather was calm and cool, but pleasant. I didn't see much wildlife moving about though, just a few kangaroos. This cache seems to be appropriately named. The UNIPOD, while unassuming in its form, was very provocatively perched as to make this an instant find. Nice execution of this camo cache. Cheers Fernandogirls

21-Feb-15
I managed to sneak out for some more caching this afternoon after family appointments and before dinner, and this was the second one I came to. The GPS originally had me searching on the wrong side of the track, but soon readjusted and put me in the right spot for a quick find.

Thanks for the cache Fernandogirls!
