Day 40 of our Enzed adventures with Robmc and today we headed to Hells Gate - Robmc did the walk while we had a mud bath and spa.In the afternoon we went rail cruising - a unique experience. We had time on our way to go around the lake and collect a few caches. Thanks for contributing to an amazing holiday.
Day forty of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris.Staying in Rotorua, visited Hell's Gate to play in the mud, then to play on a self drive train. We did a few caches and AdLabs in between. It is on a busy bit of road! Fortunately the main road had a 30km/h roadwork speed restriction in place.A quick find. Thanks, Robmc.
On our last full day in Rotorua, we visited the Living Mori Village of Whakarewarewa & enjoyed a tour of the village, a walk through the geothermal areas & an excellent cultural performance - all highly recommended! After our visit, we took a drive around Lake Rotorua for a couple of specific caches. This was my first stop & the unusual cache was spotted as soon as I pulled up in the parking area. The container was soon revealed & as all was well, I quickly had the administration completed.Found at 13:52Cache #10422TFTC spiderhouse
Interesting cache. Not easy since i wasnt expecting that. Found with Fisha1288. Have a great day
Spotted this excellent camo quickly, very well done indeed. Sunny afternoon after a drizzly morning. TFTC
Today continued my week long solo adventure on the North Island from Atlanta in the U.S. after putting GeoJayne on a plane yesterday. She made the south island visit incredible, but I was doing my best to find my way around the north island one geocache at a time. I found almost all the caches I looked for and saw some pretty cool spots along the way. I love when that happens!I thought this was a clever hide, so I am awarding a favorite point. Thank you for the smiley and the fun!
We travelled near and far, Were on a short holiday with Wilbert67, grabbing caches along the way, seeing sites that we havent been to before. Thanks to all the COs for their placements.Greeting from Australia
Second day in New Zealand and it's a wet one. Only having 5 days means we have to go caching hail rain or shine.TFTC Wilbert67

As a once in a lifetime holiday, this year we are traveling for 7 weeks to Vietnam, Bali, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we meet Ellen Sch and MrVon sr and Ingsve to visit these last two countries, so here we cache together. We signed the log with N4. Now we have solved many caches so we have a large number of solved coordinates. But we are interested in all types of caches, so if you receive a log, it means that we have visited your cache. We haven't quite decided where we're going, but we'll probably let the weather decide for us. We want warmth because in Norway it is now freezing. We will stay for about 2 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in New Zealand and we will end the trip with the Mega event in Adeleide on 29 February. So thank you very much to all of you who make it possible for us to travel around finding caches. On March 6, we set course for Norway again. There are extremely nice people everywhere and we are welcomed, we thank you very much. Thanks to our cache friends for good company on the trip.
Cachehilsen fra Ellen Sch, NorgeMe and MrV sr have come down to Australia and New Zealand, -an old dream has finally come to an end. Team Eika and Ingsve have also traveled with us on this trip.We have been traveling cross-country for a month, and the goal is to end up in Adeleide and mega-event on the leap year. We have especially looked for old caches, to fill jasmer'n, for a couple of pieces, and for the other two of us who have started to think about reviewing more. The vast majority of them showed up at their places, sometimes we had to search a bit, but we were usually lucky in the end. There were also some DNFs.We have mostly logged in with the common nickname N4 (ingsve, Von sr. TeamEika and Ellen Sch), but our own nicknames are also used.A big thank you to all you CO's for laying out and maintaining your caches. Without their work, we would never have been able to make a living with this hobby.Always nice to have a new smiley face on the map.Cache greetings from Ellen Sch, Norway
I was in rotorua for the tarawera ultramarathon. Got my first DNF for a race as I couldn't complete 105km...dropped out after 57km. Decided to go geocaching to lift my spirits and it didn't disappoint. TFTC! Such a fun find!
Driving to the north of the lake for a challenge cache, it would be rude not to stop here.Luckily a quick find of the nicely constructed cache. Have a favourite point.TFTCTim and Viv - ddm
Such a neat container for a cache, tricked us @ 1st as we thought it was something we couldn't touch, but when our search didn't yield anything we checked the blue water metre cover & then the grey pipe. Thanks for the ingenuity of this cache!
Glad to turn this sad face from 5 years ago into a smiley. Found on our road trip from Hamilton to Ohope. Thanks for the cache!!
TFTH SL the clue in the name was very good. An old favourite tv show of mine

Today I was able to change a DNF of this cache I had in October 2015. This time it was a quick find, although there was a choice of a couple of objects. I have seen both used for hides. Now becomes. TFTC spiderhouse.

The caching senses to us straight to the logical point and the log was signed soon after. I grew up with Allo Allo on the telle so the description was a trip down memory lane! Cache all safe and sound - TFTC!
On a mad day trip from L. Rotoiti to meet up with Kiscardi and Hal2929 for a days Caching on Rangitoto. Still some daylight left to make a few finds as I head back to base.
I zeroed in on the water meter to begin with and then changed my mind. I haven’t seen one of these used for quite some time. Good one. TFTC

Found just as it was getting dark. This was my second time looking for this one. Now that I've found it I don't know how I ever missed it
Heading out to drop off car and decided to grab this one on the way. We were running a bit behind after having a fence fall down with all the wind. Luckily it was a nice quick find. Great hide. Thanks for the cache.
As the summer months come to an end, and with daylight savings ending for us real soon, it's time for an extended weekend trip to Rotorua (from Wellington). Lots of activities are on the agenda, and geocaching is one of them. I had several specific caches marked to find on this trip, some to meet specific requirements, some were such fun puzzle solves that I just had to come and sign the log, and are some just because. This cache is one of them.
Having DNF'd this one last time I was here, cos it wasn't there. Today I found it, because it was there.
Thanks to spiderhouse for placing this cache here.
