Our second day in The KEP Trail and this time megawat60 and I head East! Found after a short bushbash. TFTC.
Today the objective was to log a couple of caches along the route. So we collected some of „The Kep“ and a few of the „AP2 caches

Decided to go for a ride from Mt Helena to Wooroloo after a failed attempt on Thursday due to me snapping my bike chain not 300m from the vehicle. This has been a great trail to do and a chance to get out of the house.
This cache was quick to find. tftc

Out and about with Neva2old and themongrel to claim a few more along the Kep Track, happy to say we added a smilie here today TFTC
Out and about with Parkacruz and Themongrel today. On a nice sunny but chilly winters day, we only had 3 DNF's which was great. Parkacruz managed to squash her fingers between some rocks, so a tissue was issued and a couple of bandaids and told " to toughen up princess" so we could continue our caching day. ( Since coming home Parkacruz has been to the DR's and now has steristrips and an appointment for a surgeon OOPPPS)
Continued to work my way up this beautiful track with the geodog, this time starting at Chidlow. Look out for bull ants when searching for this one! Thanks for the cache!

Accompanied with Everlasting for the caching day after attended Australia Day event. Thank you for the cache.
After an enjoyable walk with my sister on the KEP track heading south from Mundaring Sculpture Park, today I decided to walk the track heading east from the same starting point all the way to Wooroloo. I was expecting a great adventure and this track (and the series of caches along it) did not disappoint. While the terrain was reasonably flat throughout, the frequent junctions and historical placards along the way made the trek more interesting. Lots of wildlife were spotted, lots of big grey kangaroos, bobtails, really large goannas, foxes and a wide array of birds. A great variety of hides can be found along the trail, with most caches hidden securely and in good working order. I had really good luck in finding this string of caches with only 2 DNFs for the day (i.e. Red Flag & Pipe-ular Picnic. I am feeling inspired to return another day to continue this KEP track epic.

Clearing up a few green dots on my map heading out to Northam. Quick find here of a fun cache. TFTC
Found AP 469 Viper. Holy smoke! AP 469! How many caches did you hide, Allied Pranksters? A quick look at your statistics shows Tennessee Beach is AP 710! SL TFTH.
TFTH out and about with robroy_co on a glorious Sunday afternoon! Nice to get the smilie after missing it last time we were round this way
We were unable to find this one last time we were passing by! No trouble here today! Awesome day for caching out and about with magpie51! TFTC
Replaced cache. Sorry its not the same I will see what can be done with the old one.
We were out this way so thought we may be able to lend a hand and see if there was anything we could do to fixing this cache.
The rain was tipping down but we trecked to the location anyway.
The cache was out in the open (but still in its protective coat)
We emptied the items out and had a look. Wet....but not as bad as we thought it would be.
We worked out the trick of getting out the log container and the log was dry.
We logged our visit put it all back in the bag and placed it in where we hope is safe from rain ingress and probably where it should have been before a dog or other animal moved it.
Its not in great shape but its still very serviceable. No need to get out there until you are passing by in the warmer weather. The item need a bit of TLC in a workshop. Maybe a new replacement container is all it really needs.
We decided against placing a standard type there as it would changed the idea of the cache.
Thanks for the cache and sorry we could not offer anything but information of its condition.
The 2 trackable items we have with us passed though to give them a few more Kms on the clock.

After getting a couple of FTFS around the lake we stopped to grab the Viper caches. All were found without any problems TFTC Allied pranksters
I have been meaning to do these Vipers for a very long time, but every time I'm in Chidlow it's for a road bike race and I'm not wearing suitable attire, nor have the time to duck off into the bush for a few caches. Today I made a specific trip before heading to a party in Mount Helena.
When I first arrived here I found the cache straight away, but didn't realise it. I put that object back and went away and checked out a bunch of other spots looking for micro caches, and eventually came back to the original object, and something twigged, and it wasn't long before I was signing the log.
Thanks for the cache Allied Pranksters!

We continued our walk from AP 491 and thought w ehad to go bush bashing now but geo-hubby spotted a possible track. We took that up the hill and was fairly easy. We came to another large track and had to go a little bush bashing. Not too bad but the march flies were not too friendly so we had to dance our way around the bush. At GZ we found the craft cache pretty soon but where was the logbook? No not here, not there ahhhhhhhhhhhh, here it is . Nice construction, worth a favorite! TFTC Allied Pranksters.
A convenient spot to park the car close by and then a short walk into the cache. Was a little alarmed by the plastic bag and envisaged all sorts of horrors but enjoyed the cache once it appeared. Took some efforts to retrieve the log/s.
Thanks Allied Pranksters

At Lake Leschenaultia for a Masters swim so took the opportunity to look for some nearby caches. Not too difficult to find but I did have trouble getting the jet engines to fire up..........
Thanks Allied Pranksters for the cache.

Awesome cache in the area after camping and hiking the oxfam trail walker event this weekend. All packed up and kinda heading home after a cache or two or so fav point for uniqueness!
Wooosh! Yay for something to play with for a while. I was hoping the nanos would just drop out but eventually my long fingernail managed to prise one free so I could sign the log. MDV liked this one too but I haven't bothered renewing his premium membership so I can't log it for him. Great to have an exit back to the road too so we could ride back to the car. Thanks for the cache.
We also had trouble getting the log out but fortunately had tweezers in our kit. Thanks AP
Found with richlink while on a road trip to York for the weekend.
Thanks Allied Pranksters.
Thanks Allied Pranksters.
I wasn't expecting that! Twin nano's indeed, but there's more to it than that. Thanks for putting in the effort of placing a different cache. A fav point from us.
Love this one! Great cache and the hunt for the log book was fun too! It wasn't until we were walking away that we realised what the red thing was for! Hahaha! Had my own tools though so it was all good. TFTC
TFTC! On a geotrip with JacobsCrew and Numbers Man out to York, Northam and everywhere inbetween. Good day out. Thanks
TFTC What a fantastic cache. If there was a prize, this would take it! Love it thank you
A day out caching with Branzy12 and Numnbers Man, a nice quick find here after a DNF on the last one..TFTC
tricky one in the bush needs some thinking to find log great one favourite from me
I found this cache with my family (jasenjanine) whilst we were driving through the area... Thanks Allied Pranksters
After having a picnic lunch at our block of land, we decided to call into Chidlow for a look around... A quick find here, although I did have some trouble extracting the log... Perhaps we should have looked around a bit better for a retrieval tool, but the car was only 50m away so I took it back to get the log out!
TFTC Allied Pranksters, this was a fun cache to find & the kids were most impressed [^]

Headed out this way after the earthcache event at Boya Quarry where I was lucky enough to catch up with the CO of this cache. This one was quite unique, and well deserving of a fav point. Hope the CO gets his geocaching mojo happening again soon. Thanks Allied Pranksters
