Had a good look around - no luck. With a run of DNFs since March, it might be worth someone checking to see if it's still there. I don't think I will try again until someone else finds it.
Search for about 10 to 15 minutes, searched high and low but still could not find it
Found this one surprisingly difficult for some reason, but got there in the end.

Nearly gave up Coordinates were all the place! Lots of cursing and then found it Very clever and low good clue
A wattle nestled comfortably in amongst this lovely River Red Gum reserve. A quick find...all goes well when the coords lead you to the spot and the cache you are anticipating is exactly as you expect. Good job Ron.haha for another nice hide in an interesting location. Sitting here on the wooden post and rail fence filing the find on the app reminds me of the few hours that the better half and I spent perched in anticipation in the early morning upon the high wood rails skirting the street in Pamplona during the San Fermin Festival awaiting the running of the bulls. Oh well...times past...now back to the running of the bike! TFTC and for getting me out of doors on this muggy morning.
On my way to plenty gorge. This is tricky and made me nervous as I only had shorts on in high grass. Was ready to leave until I spotted it. All good here. Cheers!
Finally found it. Have looked for this one before , even rang 2 friends/family today for help but they couldn't remember it. We looked and searched and finally geohubby spotted it.
Like someone said in their log , once you spot it ,you can't unspot it.
Wasn't that hard after all. TFTC Ron.haha

I thought there might still be some blossom here, but there was only sap today. The cache took a bit of finding but I had the place to myself, and eventually I spied it. Thanks Ron.haha
Out tonight to keep my daily streak going. I last looked for this one in January in the heat after walking to here. I was obviously looking at the wrong side of the tree but tonight I changed tack and this one came to light in torchlight very quickly. TFTC Ron.haha.
The name of this cache brought a song to mind, it used to the theme to Burkes Backyard gardening show. And I was singing it in my head for the rest of the day. Great spot for a cache.
Nice Hide in an very interesting area. Found just before lunch time today while doing a ride around the area looking for some of the Geocaches.
Have yet to get a bike lock for my bike . And could not take it into this park, so going to leave this one for today
Find #4848
SirJ-Oz needed some help with his target of finds for the year (and I’m always happy to give him a push) and this was my only free weekend day in December. So what else to do but get the band back together and hit the road/pavement/park to tackle sharkiefan’s handbag series. Once those were done we dropped LouiseAnn home and decided to carry on to grab a few more on the north side of town. After a few finds along by the freeway we headed to this as our final target as our caching time ran out. Took a little while considering some various hide types in the same general area before we finally spotted it. Signed the log and headed for home. My 46th and final find on a fun day of caching. Thanks for the cache Ron.haha. Hope I can get back out this way another time to try a few more.

Find #3948. Found @ 18:29 with Annoying Tarbit.
My self-appointed challenge for the year was to get 1000 finds for the year, and I've fallen behind in that. To get me closer, the plan for today was partially about the numbers, partially about knocking off a recent handbag geo-art, but mostly about a fun day of caching with LouiseAnn and Annoying Tarbit. Lots of laughs, silliness, and general mucking around.
We'd finished the handbags, and returned LouiseAnn back home, but Annoying Tarbit and I continued on to some of the M80 series. The path was not highly utilised, and we only saw 3 cyclists, 2 walkers, and 1 jogger on our trip of over an hour.
Continuing on from the M80 series to target a few more in the area, and we came here to try our luck. This was the last one before we had to make tracks. We looked around the area for a while and it was Annoying Tarbit spotting the hide from a distance right near where I was standing that concluded the straight run of finds by him for the area.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Ron.haha

Took some looking but finally found it. Really do need to be standing in the right spot to see it.
This took me way longer than I care to admit. Eventually I was just glad to make a find.
In need of a decently long walk I chose the Metropolitan Ring path given the number of caches that were available along a fairly decent length. All were found bar the very last which has had a number of DNFs.
Thanks for providing the entertainment for my exercise Ron.haha.

Having tried my hand with mixed success with three M80 caches a bit further east, I made my way by car and then on foot to this cache. It took a while to find it... nearly wandered off but spotted it just before I did.
Thanks for the cache...
Thanks for the cache...
Found after a bit of a search, nice cache and nice place, a bit noisy so close to the m80
Thanks

With another day off to keep my annual leave days low so as to be given bonus holidays I headed out on the bike in the perfect overcast weather so no sun screen was required. I had never been over this area of the city and was keen to check out this bushland and it's surrounds. Much steeper than I expected in some locations but some cool caches were found. It was awesome on Monday with virtually no muggles where ever I went compared to sometimes on the weekends when it is crazy.
After a ride around the bush for a little while I headed for a more leisurely ride along the side of the M80. This took a few minutes but so obvious once you've seen it you can't unsee it.
Thanks Ron.haha for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Took a lot of persistence, wasted a lot of time on the wrong tree LOL! But very clever TFTC!
It is a long weekend and a sunny day...what better excuses do I need to get the bike out and grab a few caches.
I have been eyeing up the M80 trail for a while and today was a perfect opportunity.
At the GZ it took a few minutes of searching but I found it in the end. TFTC.

TFTC, relatively quick find of the cache, then dropped the lid of it and spent longer looking for the lid than I did looking for the cache in the first place!
Found it with credit to my grandson Cooper, he spotted it first. I nice Muggle free area. TFTC
spent 1/2 hr looking in the wrong place due to my dodgy Gps! but after a recalculation to the right spot I found it instantly! TFTC
I had some clues on where this cache used to be so was looking in the wrong place.
After a couple of laps around the tree i found it. TFTC Ron.haha

Out with Trailstevo tonight on our Sunday night escape! Have been staring at this line of cache for too long so tonight they will smile. Had a great stroll about, covered around 12km and found a real mixture of hides. Thanks to all the CO's for their efforts, we had a pleasant evening out, and the dog thoroughly enjoyed it to. Tftc
A 10km night hike allowed Gunks and I to pick up about 13 caches. Some harder than others. This was a quick find for Gunks, I was on the wrong side. Tftc
This one took awhile. First we realized we where on the wrong side of the fence. Once we had ridden to the right place. Luckily we had mountain bikes. We looked everywhere but no luck. As the sun was going down we hunched down to think and as sometimes happens we both spotted it at the same time. Tftc
The geotreadlies were packed, the GPSr charged, and a plan afoot. Posums, myself and my geosidekick in the car. Our mission: The M80 series, and a few other caches along the path between Lalor and Greensborough. We signed as chof_poss.
We played "spot the difference" to find this one. Nice quick find, a good change from the last cache!

A slight little detour off the path on our M80 adventure we parked the bikes for the next cache
chof_hoe stayed with the bikes so morty and I went searching for the cache through the wet grass
She went one way I went the other
I then heard the familiar found it again
Come on guys give me chance again
A good hide signed the log as chof-Pos
Thanks Ron.haha TFTC

These type of hides are always challenging, They blend in so well. I took my time and carefully looked in all directions and soon the cache was found. Well done **Ron.haha.** TFTC

A tricky cache to find until you look at just the right angle. This was the last of the day and he headed back to the car for a nice drive home in the setting sun.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us come along and find today. A nice walk in the afternoon is always better then drive, stop, drive, stop. A nice series to collect in one hit.

Last one as the phone call had come for the better half that shopping was done and thus geocaching was over. We found the GZ easily and guessed what we would be looking for. These ones are always had to find but once you see them you can not see them. Signed and cache in good order. BTW, dogs are not allowed in that part of the "reserve", woops....

I was drawn to this cache at this hour by a log saying it was a 'drive by'. Well, I beg to differ, lol.
The long grasses and uneven ground were a stiff outer defense. And then on to the citadel which knows how to keep invaders guessing!
Thanks Ron.haha. The clever hide required a little persistence to uncover.

A great hide, , tricked me at first then I thought out the clue the hide then stood out.

Out and about it Echidna44 I returned to this one that I had tried previously. This time it was a quick find, but walking through the long grass was a bit treacherous. Thanks Ron.haha

If I had been a little earlier I might have availed myself of the facilities of the cafe over the road! I am not so good at finding this type of cache but the hint helped a lot and it was soon found, thanks Ron.haha.

After lots of walking today for caches, it was nice to get a quick drive-by.
Cheers for the cache

Visiting the orthodontist and had some time to kill. Thought this would be a good hiding spot for a cache as we drove past. Great hiding spot and accurate coordinates. TFTC!

Just one more cache before I the road. I was a bit worried when I couldn't find a gate but the sign didn't say I couldn't go in. I was pretty sure what I was looking for so I only took a minute to sit the cache.
Thanks Ron.haha for the caches this afternoon.

Found by middle child. Nice beautiful gum trees here. Off to do a few more in the area. Tftc
Tftc we are getting much sharper at this game - third time lucky here and three from three in caches we failed to spot the first time in the last 30 minutes
Cleverly shifted a few meters from where you would expect it.
Thanks to the owner.

Out with TinkerTraveller collecting caches in the uni Hill area. First time we came this way there just happened to be a worker inspecting weeds (or something official) in the vicinity of the GZ. Thought we would look suspicious heading to the GZ with her in there as well, so headed off to other caches in the area before returning to this one on our way home. TinkerTraveller again had this one in hand pretty quickly. She was on fire today! TFTC.
Seem to be on a roll with your caches Ron.haha! A simple walk into the reserve and bingo it was spotted. Love the simple camo. So many redgums, all appear to be dropping way too much debris. I hope they have many years of life left as they are superb. Thanks Ron.haha.
These are the kind of caches that are best found in the dark. After circumnavigating the tree with our torches the cache was soon spotted.

Nice quiet location with the Ring road & the Cockatoos. but seriously nice spot. TFTC.
Can say Found It, another of Ron.haha's caches bites the dust, NO it cant reach, clever piece of camouflage here, having a tree full of birds resting in shade while us mere mortals are running around in bright sunshine perspiring and looking stupid, most birds did not even move when I located hide, and just watched as I stamp signed the log, all is good here
Suscoe's 18th find for the day.
A short walk to GZ, a bit of wandering and eventually it was spotted.
Thank goodness it was found.
Log signed and on our way.
It was almost time to head home.

Reasonably quick find here this afternoon with my 6 year old leading the way. We are over from Perth visiting family for Christmas and we are enjoying discovering new areas around Greensborough where we are staying. Thank you for the cache Ron.haha.
