Any chance that this cache can be disabled or checked by the CO - there have been about 6 DNF's!
There was a metal pole on its side running along the fence but no metal plate as such unless that was what it is I believe I had a good look but couldn’t find it will attempt again
Wow, I so enjoyed coming to this beach. We also went for a walk on the beach before looking for the cache. And we met the nicest man who told us all about the beach and some other nice beaches nearby. So glad that we came here.
The cache could use a bit of maintenance. Someone left a candy in the cache which left a sticky mess on the log book. Which is also damp. And, as the previous cacher mentioned, it is no longer magnetic but on the ground.
But, this was my favorite cache of the day, just for the beautiful beach, so it gets a fave point.

Amazing spot! After a little walk along the beach we went up to the lookout enjoyed the view and found the cache. The box wasn’t fixed at a metal plate, we didn’t find the origin hiding place so we left it as we found.
Thanks for hiding and for showing the place, redgecco

A fairly quick find... although in a nicely hidden spot. Cache may look like a magnetic, but it was not on anything metal. Such a nice view over the beach. We don’t have beaches like these back home. Retrieved a TB (the only one in the cache) and left a PT. TFTC!
This one says it's a magnet but its not magnetized to anything and

it is under where you walk onto the platform , I think it's not in it's original place because its not stuck on somthing hence the magnet on top , maybe it's been moved

Beautiful view managed to see some dolphins too. A bit tricky to get to the cache so please take care.
Found it at dark was bigger then expected and was on the cliff found with tamato
Geohusband had to lay down on platform to retrieve it. Nearly lost it down the cliff trying to put it back.
Had a drive from Elizabeth Beach to Forster this afternoon so stopped for a few caches before it started to rain. Great views from GZ and a quick find for us.

TFTC didn’t take too long to find. The hint helps. Beautiful view. Beautiful view
A quick find with a little awkward reach... I was so focused on getting it me and by brother didn’t notice the group of people walk up to the lookout. We explained what we were doing and then they got super keen to try and find it Haha (hopefully a couple of geocachers get added to the number!)
We're having a few days at Pacific Palms with my sister and brother in law. This morning, I left them to their own devices and headed into Forster to do a bit of sightseeing geo-style ... and ended going to some really great spots along the seafront.
This cache took me to another great viewpoint ... possibly my favourite of the day. I lingered for quite a while here and eventually got around to making the find ... it was pretty much where I expected but retrieving it proved to be a little more challenging than I had expected.
Thanks for bringing me to another great location Omega62. By way of thanks, I'm giving this one this a fave point but really, it's for your body of works in this part of the world ... thanks!!

What a stunning area beautiful views at every turn. We are parked at the Sporties club with our caravan and as soon as we got settled we were off to do some caching. This was one of the caches we targetted and found. Thanks to Omega62 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
We went for a drive around Forster today and found a couple of caches....

Find #1748
We were exploring the Forster area today, we looped through from north to south grabbing 10 caches and 2 trigs, with 2 DNFs to start the day. We battled scattered showers and gale force winds, but had a good day - the views from the many vantage points along the coast were magnificent.
This is a cool spot for a cache. I did have to go outside the safety barrier, but it is far from deadly, do watch the kids though. I couldn't work out how the magnet was supposed to hold the cache, as I found it on the ground. I rehid it up off the ground still in line with the hint. TFTC Omega62

Had a DNF before at this one so I have been hanging out to give it another try. Success today.

The cache's location encourages people to climb outside the safety fence - is this a good idea? Certainly there is no metal plate to attach the magnet to. But a lovely spot! Tftc!
Had to employ the use of a nearby stick to reach it but finally got there in the end... beautiful lookout TFTC
Was out of reach. Very hard to get to. Have put closer in reach now but still hidden.
A nice stroll to Burgess beach and a moment to check to see if we can spot a whale or two and we netted a geocache while there

Today we have come out again in the beautiful Forster/Tuncurry area on a beautiful spring day that also happens to be Ftather's Day. There are lots of families out celebrations enjoying the sun and the views.
This is our first visit to the area and we can see why it is so popular!
A pretty beach. We can understand why families love it.
We timed our visit to GZ really well. There were 2 whales playing in the bay quite close to shore. They were actually so close we wondered if they were in trouble, off course or something. Luckily after a while playing they moved out further, safely away from shore.

I couldn't see metal plate either but I did find & sign cache. Tks to Colanea too for placing it in safe place. Great view TFTC
This one was a bit dangerous to retrieve. Last person to replace it must have thrown it. Couldnt find a metal plate for attachment but ive put it back where i found it a bit safer or a find.
Easy find but could find the metal plate that it was on so left in thebsafe spot it was in when found
I found a fairly aged plastic container with screw-lid in the scrub near the lookout complete with eyes, containing a proper log and ID, and TB not registered on details page, so do not know how to log this TB. replaced as the hint suggests, after not finding any metal container. TFTC
Found by Phreddy of Newcastle. Yes I found this so called missing cache found as per the hint however it is NOT magnetised to a post and the Mint tin has no lid and is heavily rusted however log is ok. Replaced where found. As this is disabled I will give a Hint / Spoiler first LHS post at base.
Several months have passed without a check on this, even after a Maintainance request.. might be time for this one to go.

2nd of 2 DNFs (& 1 find) today - Forster
Last full day of our Forster holiday and I ducked out for a little caching while everyone else was in for an afternoon's reading books in the shade. I started with a DNF at "Unclean" (2nd time unlucky) and then a find at "Elouera Park" before coming here.
3 muggles stood and looked out at the ocean and the beach on either side. I pretended to be doing the same, but was just waiting them out. And waiting. And waiting. Finally they left. I could get into position - quite risky terrain, in fact - from where I could get a good look underneath at all 4 corners. There's nothing there. Disappointed, I headed back to join the others.

Nope. Pretty sure it's not here anymore. Searched all of pole including in each end. Nada.
I managed to navigate to this area we have never visited then walked up to the lookout. A search showed me the cache, which was just lying in the undergrowth with nowhere to attach. Unfortunately someone has used the pole as a WC which meant the whole area and cache smelled really bad, so after logging I returned it with some extra camo and headed back to clean my hands! Thanks Omega62 for a great hide which may now be in need of some attention. The rock formations here are brilliant, what a great coastline.
A trip to Forster today to visit Dad for an early Fathers Day. The whole geofamily pulled a lap of town and grabbed a bunch of caches. Nice view from up here but a shame about the wind! TNLN TFTC
TFTC, as others have said, there is no metal plate to attach it to and cache is just on the ground. Left it how I found it.
A fine morning before the winds arose, with a superb view all round. I had to wait it out until an elderly couple decided there were no whales about this morning.
Took bit to locate and as reported not attached to anything. The log is OK. I visited a TB and placed the container back where I found it. TFTC Omega62.

Found with cckabbabs. Lovely spot. Lots of sand missing from the beach below following the wild weather. TFTC.
Found it although it wasn't attached with the magnet it was just on the ground
Found lying on ground under platform. Placed near hint suggests.co should probably check
Looked high and low for this one with no luck. Will try again when I am in the area next. Was well worth the visit though with such amazing views.
Great found it took some searching and could not find magnet or plate it was just loose
