Sorry guys I have to archive this cache as it has been vandalised and is now missing
No luck today.
Been a longtime since CO said they would check it!
The GPSr wanted us around the back of the CFS station. Probably not the best place for a cache! A bit like in the backyard of stranger's house! Perhaps if is meant to be out back of a CFS then needs archiving. If supposed to be elsewhere then replacement and coords need amending when re-positioned.

No luck for me with this one. The GPS seemed to keep wanting to take me onto the property
Didn't find, my daughter found previously with another group, not here this morning
** This is an old log, found before the cache was archived. This is what I wrote on the day** Skippy and I were in the area for a 4WD event and did some geocaching on the way. Thanks for bringinig me here, geocachebt
First place all j ran straight past the fire station looking for a street name. Thankfully someone with Sense saw the station and the cache was quickly in hand. TFTC
A quick Fathers Day find after convincing my daughter to take her dear old Dad out for a drive. TNLNSL. Thanks geocachebt for the cache.
All quiet here today. Too damn cold for outside fires. Watch those candles players.
Thanks to geocachebt and clear skies from TeamAstro.

Quick find today, Our second attempt at this one, first time was at night, arrived just as one of the CFS trucks along with a full contingent of Volunteers lobbed right out the front! TFTC
After Aussie Mary's Birthday bash a flash mob formed for a days caching. Mrs. M joined me whilst Locus Cache, Clare007 and Ismatis in Harry all set out in convoy. After Locus had cunningly lured us all the way to Clare it was time to make our way home. Stopping for a few caches on the way!
This proved to be no problem at all. Thanks geocachebt

After my birthday get together, 4 cars headed out caching, now we are down to just one and on the way back to M & M's place. Brisal5 made the find and we were back in the car and off towards Forreston. TFTC geocachebt.
Not the best night time cache to look for but just as we were going to give up I spotted it tftc

While caching is one way that I spend my spare time, volunteering in the CFS is another way to while away the time. I belong to the Region 2 Operational Support Brigade - our current home is partly in that little shed you see a couple of hundred of metres down the road and we also park our incident command vehicle (ICV) in this shed. Sometimes the two hobbies meet and if I am on a deployment for a few days or exercise, I pick up one or two caches if they are nearby. Other cachers in my brigade include AJTMB and SA4agers. Like caching, the CFS is a great community to belong to. We don't really view ourselves as heroes, just regular people doing something for our community, but it is nice to be appreciated. Oh yeah, we also found the cache.
Muggle free when the x-trailers, 3LG and myself located this cache.
Yes our firefighters /emergency workers are important.

Staying in Gawler, on our 2nd trip around Australia.
Decided on a country drive, as the weather was beautiful today.
Cache was found quickly, and in good condition.
T: tiny thongs, L: dinosaur.
Many thanks for the hunt today, geocachebt.

Found It!
Nicely kept CFS station - little unusual to find one with a picnic table in the front garden!
I does seem a little odd that there's another CFS station just 100m up the road...

A quick find but on leaving I spotted the neighbour looking through the curtains. I hope it doesn't get muggled by the neighbour. Thanks
Yay, we got silver. I really thought this one would have more finds by now but we were only the second to arrive and nab the cache.
The find is significant as my geohusband (Dismart) is indeed a volunteer firefighter who spent many days on the Eden Valley fires. So we appreciate a cache dedicated to the firefighters who do so much for the community.
The CFS personnel at the station now know about the cache and do know where it is. So they can help out if needed!

WOW, A first to find and even better at a volunteer fire station. Geohubby and I were having a late happy hour with muggle brother and sister-in-law when I noticed a new publication come up only just over 5 kilometres from our current digs.
We all piled in the mugglemobile after grabbing torches and geobag and headed off. Woohoo!! Muggle brother spotted it first and a virgin log was revealed. We grabbed the cute travel bug and dropped in a few more swaps for the kids including a tiny little fire truck. Our geodaughter and her fiance are volunteer firefighters at a southern brigade and both were involved in the nearby Eden Valley fires earlier this year.
We left a pathtag as we find caches at volunteer fire brigades very special.
Very many thanks geocachebt for your hide. We loved it! [^][^][^]
