was waylaid by a muggle inquiring if we had lost some thing so the usual explanation of playing a treasure hunt seemed to quickly satisfy the helpful muggle.
Today was set aside to do a geo caching day to Cromwell if the weather was unsuitable for skiing which is was , so we set off early at about 8.30 and finally arrived home about 5.30 with approx 41 caches in total including the adventure lab , so we were very pleased. we took a muggle who have been intro' to geocaching briefly on a few days before and so today was a big geo caching experience for her and as i had 2 GPS's with me she was able to use one quite independently by half was thro the day.
we enjoyed spending some time at the historic Cromwell area which none of us had actually explored before and where we had lunch at the Grain cafe.
we only had 2 DNFs and both were of puzzle style caches which we had solved but there was nothing at GZ.
thank you for these caches

On holiday staying in Wanaka and decided to check out a town we haven't visited on previous trips and today it was Cromwell. Had a good time exploring the town including the museum which is near the cafes in the town centre area and then some caching - a perfect day really!
Nice quick find at GZ - thanks for the cache.

Not the easiest to be stealthy with a bright red coat on...dont think I was seen...nice quick find tftc

We are out and about in the area finding some caches and enjoying exploring and revisiting other areas again.
Our timing wasn't so great here with school just coming out but we managed the grab between muggles.
Thank you sting1606.

We're hunting Tour caches and anything that's not slowing down our objective to much. We scored 3x nights at Rotary Glen with max occupancy of 10 vans. The plan was just staying 2 nights but it's just to nice here. We never explored Cromwell, just raced through so we're going to make the most of it. The wind is already picking up and growing into a decent storm as the day progresses. School's out and there are kids everywhere but we manage without raising any suspicion. Thank you sting 1606
After a bloody massive drinking day at the Gibbston valley concert we went out for tea- our plan was then to go to the cocktail bar but we decided after feeling like we couldn’t fit any more alcohol in to the body I suggested we go for a wee walk to find this cache. Nice and easy even when slightly intoxicated. TFTC
Tftc we could see it easily now lol. Last time it might’ve been in leaf litter on ground. Anyway got it!!!
Cache 322 nice quick find just on dusk, cache in good shape

Just checked for owner. Had fallen to the ground and was under leaves, left as per clue
Couldn’t find, looked in forks of tree, even the neighbor came out and said it’s probably not there!! Lol friendly guy, very kind of him
Is it anywhere high? Because hint says something about fork, but first branches down are so high, but terrain is 1.5 ...
In Cromwell for a family Christmas and couldn’t resist some caching. First to sign the new log. Dropped a TB. TFTC
There is only one possible host at GZ, and I can confirm for certain there is no cache either in the fork or on the ground.
Despite 2 searches, one in each direction of our stroll, this cache seems to have gone.
Although we found an eminently suitable location at the coordinates, we too were unable to find the cache.
Looked at exact location and around, looked at photos from activity section, Absolutely nothing there, maybe its been moved away..?
Quick find in Cromwell. Had a great 3 days, will be back soon. Need to go home now.
On my way home after a weekend in Clyde, nice to be able to change some of the many green dots into yellow smiles around these parts.
TFTC quick find

*Springtime dots are thin on the ground for September soon to be rectified with a push over the border ploughing new fields of Central Otago of it's green dots turning dozens of dates from one singular shade of green to a multiple darker green on the 'finds' table*. It was such a luvly walk up the green belt that I overshot the GZ and had to back track. Returned near to the place and place that fir the hint and rounded the ragged rascal looking, looking, ah there it is on the ground. It was almost overlooked as yoghurt pot rubbish before I spotted the geo stickers stuck to the 200ml tub. Would have still been searching for a regular but this is still a good small size for a cache. The log was a little bit damp and I added a poly baggy. Since the original pencil cedars had been cut down, the cache got returned to the conifer fork from whence it should be hidden under duff in hide. Thanks for the extended walk, now back to the car. The original [GB](https://coord.info/GC2NMZJ) #1 rock hide was to the south and the first of a few [Citos](https://coord.info/GC2MX62) published by the CO was sited to the north attracted who's who of caching stalwarts but not much else published recently. TFTC
Found with StreetWalker on day #4 of our extended Easter break. Today we are travelling from Clyde to Cromwell then onto the old gold fields of Logantown, then back to Clyde.
The first of the three Greenbelt caches found today, all easy finds. TFTC.

Last one of 20 located today en route to Cromwell, as well as in and around Cromwell, at the start of a week-long break in the Central Otago / Southland region.
Had 19 caches under our belt when we returned to our Cromwell base. I needed one more for the day! This was it, the cache closest to out lodgings. Went for a walk mid-evening and located this one with little effort, with a torch to illuminate things of course. I wasn’t aware of any curious neighbours witnessing the event! #2385. TFTC.

Years since I have done any geocaching but today I downloaded the app to my phone then tested everything with this cache. I haven't forgotten and the cache was a fast find.
On another trip to Central for a family event. I love coming here, and getting a few caches is a bonus. This was very straightforward, just as I like it when I'm dring through. Thanks.
