Flat phone and no pen makes for great disappointment. But enjoyed the drive today.
The pelicans thought we had fish but got some great photos. Easy find with Sarge5556 tftc
TFTC!! Found this while exploring around streaky bay, beautiful location at the boat ramp. Bringing a stool or tall person would definitely be handy with this one

After spending a few days in Gawler it was time for to drive my mums (well my car now) from Gawler back to Perth. This was day one travelling from Gawler to Streaky Bay on a 5 day 3,100km adventure. And there are hundreds of signs saying do not drive tired so geocaching helped with that.Found lots of caches on the trip. This was a quick find at the end of a long hot day. Thanks for the cache and making me get out and stretch batman1113.
#5351 Found under the close watch of Mr Percival and his friends. No we don't have any fish for you today. Took a little bit to flush out of its hidey locaction but got there in the end. TFTC Grandeeze.

Having been in Kyancutta for the June Long weekend, it was now time to get ourselves organised for a visit to Maralinga, but of course finding a few caches is a bonus while in the area. Thanks
Found as part of a trip from Adelaide to Kyancutta for the JLWE and then onto Maralinga via Streaky Bay. It was a great trip. This was a nice drive around the peninsula on a windy afternoon. TFTC
We decided to to this loop drive after the nearby event. Wow, the scenery is beautiful! This cache was a quick find in one of those 'usual' spots Found with rumpuslabs, tftc
My 6th day of my trip heading to and around the Eyre Peninsular. Today I left Kyancutta and headed off towards the coast and stayed near Streaky Bay for the night. This cache would be find number 1 of 22 for the day and find Number 132 in total for this trip away.
Quick find while on my way to my camp site for the night.

Out exploring the area in the morning before throwing in a line to tempt the big whiting that are suppose to inhabit the waters here. Good to get a perspective of the coastline. Quite spectacular and the waters are blue and clear. Can't wait to stop viewing and start using the bays. Cheers Grandeeze for a reason to stop here.
Went west. Found some caches Yours was one!
Nice views of the bay from a deserted shelter.
Many thanks for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance Batman1113 .

So what are we doing this week...
(Go west) Life is peaceful there.
(Go west) Lots of open air.
(Go west) To find caches new.
(Go west) This is what we'll do.
(Go west) Sun in winter time.
(Go west) We will do just fine.
(Go west) Where the skies are blue.
(Go west) This and more we'll do.
(Go west) Life is peaceful there.
(Go west) Lots of open air.
(Go west) To find caches too.
(Go west) This is what we'll do.
(Go west) together together we'll cache on our way
(Go west) together together you map me the way
(Go west) you cache places new
(Go west) this is what we'll do
(Go west) life is smiley there
(with thanks and apologies to the Village People and Pet Shop Boys - who must have been cat lovers!)
And ending up soon at Kyancutta

Country, Coffee, Cats, Champagne, Chocolate, and Caching...
Careful caching as always with Jack helping, wherever we go.
It's a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and objects falling from trees
...... but a cache a day still keeps the boredom away
--------
Most of our caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp )
----------
Make sure that Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside
It's awesome of all those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!
[:o)]
The end. For now...
... until next time!

GCA1DNA - Great Leap Forward ... be there or be backward!
29.2.24 It's gone MEGA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were stopping at the Islands Park with muggle friends and did the Cape Bauer loop.
We stopped for the cache and met with two more players of this crazy game. It's nice to see others in the field it doesn't happen very often.
The cache container was replaced with a new mint tin.

Lovely drive around the area today, exploring the seaside town and awesome views. Meet another cacher here at this cache. Swapped some stories, before following each other around to find some other caches in the area. TFTC
Had to come back another day after being attacked by mozzies. We found it tho! Hope you're not short!
Nearly gave up on this one but be persistent and prepare to reach lots of friendly pelicans near by watching us, TFTC

We don't think it was an easy find ha. Took us a while to find it and almost gave up, even with the hint! Can't be short!
Found after reading the hint. Strolled down to the small beach here and found some "Razor Fish" on the sand. I thought they were real fish, not shells. Lovely view of the caravan park we are staying in.
Tin a little rusted and hard to open, but quick find. What a beautiful place.
Nice views across the bay to the islands caravan park we stayed at last night

Tftc. Quick grab but had to wait for replacement due to a visitor. I enjoyed the view which is what this is all about.
Found while visiting from Canberra on our way to Perth.
A quick find.
Probably the most beaten up cache that I have found. But it all still does the job.

Couldn't find it for a while then just went for it & grabbed it. Wasn't locatable by the eye and was bit scared of 8 legged friends. Good quick find in the end. Lots of history with the log book. Nice spot to relax and think about everything
