The cover and cache disappeared, hard to replace a cache when the cover has been blown.
Couldn't find this one even after checking hints in previous logs. Interesting location though
We are really enjoying our travels on Eyre Peninsula. Found this cache today. tftc.
Nice walk from Streaky Bay Caravan Park. I forgot to take a pen will go back tomorrow and sign log.

For Easter 2016, instead of attending a MEGA, I decided to fly down to SA and then a drive to Streaky Bay with SEMIK and RideTheGeoWalrus.
This was a qaepag. Here I learned to NEVER cache in thongs. While looking for the cache, I managed to slice the epidermis on the side of my left foot with the pointed end of a stick. Luckily it wasn't a major scratch.

With no Mega Event on this year, Easter 2016 was a trip away to the far side of the Eyre Peninsula with SEMIK and AlphaDeltaIndigo, and a journey to part of South Australia I have never visited before. Unlike previous Easter weekends, this one was a much more casual affair, and I barely made it into double digits for the weekend, but with so much spectacular coastline to explore, I'm very content with our find count.
Cache found quickly in at an empty GZ so there wasn't any need to worry about being caught. Returned with a little more natural camo to keep the cache well hidden.
This was find number 2 of 3 for the night for me. TFTC Grandeeze!

A quick find after tea with ADI and RTGW to make sure RTGW had a trad find on the day. We are enjoying the sights of Streaky Bay.
West Australia 2016 trip. Day 26. Today was Smokey Bay to Pt Germein via Streaky Bay, Kimba and Pt Augusta. A long drive and most of the caches done on the westward trip. The cemetery is well kept and had plenty of interesting memorials to examine.
Thanks.

Our thirteenth find on our return journey from Tumby Bay SA to Caiguna WA to meet my Dad from Perth. Halfway catch up Such a beautiful town, def want to spend a weekend or more here. TFTC!
Leaving Streaky but time to farewell some permanent residents and grab a quick cache with DWRory
Stopped by to pay respects to a recently admitted permanent resident. Took a bit to find as I hadn't read the logs. Eventually found as I turned to head back out of the trees and there is was knee high and obvious after all. Thanks Grandeze.
Grey nomading and caching our way up the middle, across the top, down to Perth and home to Adelaide for Xmas. Been here many times B.C. Love this spot. Found about 9 meters out today. T.F.T.C.
Nice quiet mid week day here. Found with help of previous logs. Hint was also useful as a small brown snake was also present at GZ. Tftc
Thank goodness for previous logs as the hint was no good on this one , thanks for the cache
Walked up from the camping ground, to look for this one, spent 10 minutes then read previous find, then it stood out like dogs ball. TFTC.

Found this peaceful cache whilst visiting Streaky Bay - many thanks for the cache.
Out and about with &0thers on our travels down southwards towards home. Staying at Streaky beach for the night right on the foreshore , beautiful. Checked out and town and moved onto some sightseeing. Called into this one on our way. Easy find, thanks for the cache
After two and a half years Di has been told that she is in a total remission so we hooked up the van and away we went.
Stopped at Wudinna with our sons in laws on the way to Fowlers Bay and then down the coast.
This is one that we found and signed on our way back again.
This was laying on the ground in the open so I placed it back where I thought it may have come from.

Found while travelling back home to the Barossa from a trip to WA. Great to get a Grandeeze cache! Wonderful spot to visit. Tftc
Found at 2:17 PM GAFF1.
We came in this morning after spending the night at Tractor Beach to have a mechanic check out our van batteries - they are not going to make it sadly We then set up at the caravan park, washed the Discovery at the carwash (spent a lot of money there ) and after all of that we decided to relax and do some caching. We drove right upto this one and when we spotted it was totally exposed and ready to be muggled. The clips weren't even clipped on the container
Interesting to see the walled section of graves - was that the original cemetery?
Thanks Grandeeze.

With work is taking us to Ororoo, Tumby Bay, Streaky Bay and Wudinna over 4 days we take every moment to grab caches along the way, earthlight joined us for the trip and a lot of fun was had during the trip, day 3 of our trip and today we are suppose to be doing work at Ceduna but since the rain has not stopped and they are expecting 50 mm our job will now be tomorrow so this has given us the whole day to cache this area now, we love the old cemeteries and reading the headstones, so much effort goes into some if these headstones. TFTC
An early morning walk in the rain to 1of my favourite places to walk and learn the history of the area when visiting a new town. Loved the original section with its stone wall. A favourite point today. Left my pathtag. Caching with3LG. TFTC
Day Thirteen of the WA road trip with BettyBoo3747. Today we drove up to Streaky Bay and drove the two Loop Drives - Cape Bauer and Westall Way, finally coming out at Murphy's Haystacks.
We called in on the residents in the small walled area first, and read their stories.
The cache was next, a slight detour.
We then went back through some of the more recent arrivals, and recognized several name in common with the walled graves.
It is always interesting to read the history inside such places.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 7833. Robmc and I are still staying at Elliston and as the weather was again not too promising we decided to head to Streaky Bay and do a couple of the scenic drives around the area and pick up a few caches on the way.
I enjoy looking through old cemeteries and this one was certainly an interesting place. So many young adults and children here from the early days when life was so much tougher. Spent quite a bit of time in the old walled area before going to find the cache. The roses were looking very pretty throughout the grounds today. Didn't take too long to locate the hide. Left one of my Mask Pathtags here today.
Thanks Grandeeze

Spent A few days snooping around the west coast, did some snorkeling, kayaking and camping, with a few caches thrown in to add to fun.
An easy find and interesting time checking out the "old" graves which is something Bowz2 likes to do!

Verry easy find and so much history in this location. The residents have some great stories
8:39:00 AM. Continuing our trip north before heading west. Camped the night at the rest area 5 km's south of Streaky Bay, Woke up to a windy showery day so instead of staying in town for a couple of days we just had a visit and did the caches in town. A walk past all the residents and a brief search found us the cache. Signed log and rehid. Thanks Grandeeze for placing this cache.
Fairly quick find, first cache in Streaky Bay I have found whilst staying a few nights in the caravan park SL #1750 on streak day #922 TFTC
Mum had a quick look around the cemetery while I found the cache. Thanks Grandeeze!
Think this may need some attention as we found what we thought to be camo on the track but no cache anywhere.
TFTC.8.15. From Perth to Melbourne is our last vacation journey in Australia, along this route, we look for caches. Greetings from the Netherlands
Day nine of my holidays, travelling from Ceduna to Streaky Bay, doing caches along the way, then doing a some beyond there. I was able to drive in and right up to the cache, which was quickly found.
My thanks to Grandeeze for the cache.

Caravanning in Streaky and decided to grab this cache. An easy find in a very "restful" place. Took nothing and left a trademark ladybug peg. Thanks Grandeeze.
I think I would not mind to make this town our permanent residency. Friendly local, great bakery, heaps of other shops and beautiful scenery. Well who knows, one day ?? Cache was easily found and in good condition. TFTC Grandeeze.
Streaky Bay is just the prettiest place and I wish we had longer to stay here. If you go, you simply must have a meal at into the restraunt there M------n, it is so very yummy. A must try is abalone. Loved the windmills a Penong and growing up in the Riverland I have strong and fond memories having our own windmill and running down to anchor the baldes in place, or turn it on or off...AND going down to Nanna or Grampa's to have a bath when there was no wind and thus no water in our house tank. In my top 5 favourites while out west. What a fabulous old wall and graves. SL with Hurtle, thanks for bringing us here.
A great spot to do some exploring with my Bestie.
Particularly loved seeing the old section, all crammed in, they ran out of room!

Thanks

The gates were shut when we pulled up to do this cache so we walked up to GZ.
Had only just got there when the rain started followed by thunder and lightning. We took refuge in the covered area near GZ but in the end left our shelter and just went and got it in the rain.
We could have driven to within metres of the cache if we had come in the side road which wasn't gated. Drat!! But thanks for the smiley.

Found it on my return motorbike ride across Australia, with Team Bungarra and former muggle Burg.
