Logs
I see the last log was some time ago. Thought we had it pinned down then all of a sudden every tree looks like a shrubby tree. Wondering if it is actually still here.
Visited here a few months back and it was inaccessible thanks to auckland councils reluctance to maintain anything but does seem to have been severely cut back recently. Cache was now lying out in the open and visible from 10m away as I approached. Nice to see logs approaching 10 years old
I was heading home from work today and decided to take a bit of a different route home, that brought me past this cache. So I had to grab it, especially as it fills another spoke of my 360 from home.
The traffic was pretty quiet which meant I could easily make the grab, and I spotted the cache right away. It looks like it has got soaked at some point and the log has had a lot of names washed off, but apart from that all seems good. Tftc #1450

A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are in Auckland Auckland for a break and we are exploring the region while we are based here. The weather was good today, and we made the most of it, getting away at 6am for an airport pickup, and a few caches too.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

A quick find d on the way back from buying supplies for making a fairy house...with Sportynz
Forgot to log this yesterday, anyways it was a quick find after I read the hint. Thanks for the cache placement
found with daddypig. you'll have to be quite brave to open it though as there is a lot of bugs that have made this cache home
A bit of rubbish around but cache easily identified by awesome wrapping! Nice place for nature watching across the creek
Lovely geocaching day on North West Route Cycle Way. Decided to take my bike for a spin today as latest most wanted rain in Auckland Region for sure left hike trails very wet. Little bit windy on the route with fresh westerly breeze. I cycled 29km in total! Started in Waterview and finished near Royal Road School. Then back. Also did a few detours for some nice handy caches in the area. At the end of my journey I`ve got wet because rain arrived but the good things was I was not soakin wet ... Many thanks for all placements in the area. Geocaching on the bike is one of my best exercise! Also Memory Lane celebration started today so it was great to collect some handy caches.
P.S. I had to wait till 0:00 UTC to log my hides to qualify for Memory Lane ....
Good hint! Much appreciated. Thanks for the hide!

Found in rush hr time. Anyone passing any have thought I was popping behind a tree for a little light relief. LOL Tftc very damp
Two nice quick smilies and so close to each other. Have always driven past his and hers as traffic usually busy. So called in to make a very quick find thx.
Fun to grab these pair of caches at the end of a lot of dnfs today. Hadn't ever been past these before so thank you for the cache placement, you took us somewhere new today.
I had some spare time today so decided to head North and West to find a few caches out in this direction. Found this one after a short search - the hint no longer applies. TFTC, Biggles.
Almost was about to give up until I approached GZ from another angle and spotted the cache sitting in the tree. All is well. TFTC
Out this way today, so a couple of caches to collect along here. Nice easy find, but cache is now nesting near ground level, TFTC
After a birthday brunch, we gathered a few caches on the way back to the shore. Pulled up on the bike lane and prayed for a quick find, and so it was, thanks
I had to come out West today to pick up some friends to get them to the airport. And as has become my daily habit, I decided to see if there were any caches in the area up for grabs. That is how I came to be looking for this particular cache. So after parking as close as I could to GZ, I had to wait for the coast to clear as there were quite a few muggles out walking, running, and walking their muggle dogs. Once the coast was clear I made the move to GZ and soon had the cache in hand. However, as I was filling out the log it began to rain quite heavily... and so after putting the cache back in its place I hoofed it back to the car... only to close the door and watch the rain stop. Ha ha... not! Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks kiwi couple for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so.

Geokid2 has been a bit sad because "I never get to find any caches!" but this time he was the one who was looking in the right direction.

#75 This set hasn't been found in a few months so it was nice to come along today and find all was well. Read the hint but not the logs so initially discarded the cache as litter... boy it looks just like a cache though! And so it proved, now onto hers! TFTC
Had been working in the local area and finished a little early so decided a couple of caches on the way back to the office were in order.
Saw this was relatively close so made a beeline for GZ. A very convenient park was found close to GZ and I wandered the few meters to GZ.
Noting the previous log regarding the position of the cache I made the quick find. Signed the log and returned to GL where I had found it.
The container and log is all good but it is now lying on the ground so am not to sure where it should be so the CO might want to have a quick check when they are next passing.

Couldn't resist getting hers but not his, even as night began to fall, was a trickery find as the hanging mechanism now appears to be gone, well it is atleast not in use as the cache is not laying not not hanging. Otherwise good condition, thank you (:
This was a great cache for a quick stop and grab this evening. Found the cache at the base of the tree, but otherwise in good shape. TFTC! #997
In the area with Okayness. Not quite as per the hint but a bit of searching and the cache was found. TFTC
Determined to find it this time around. Followed the geo trail and looked in alternate spot from where hint suggested and there was the cache. Pleased to have a smiley face. TFTC
We headed this way for some dinner and selected this as today's cache.
Once At GZ I popped in to some cover and quickly found the cache.
Before finding cover someone in the fairly busy traffic honked their horn, I like to assume it was a previous finder.

#1934. Heading north on Leap Day and picking up caches between a few targeted cache stops. An interesting set of caches here with the poles looking like something out of Easter Island. The cache itself took a bit longer to find than expected as I was looking at the wrong level for quite some time. But eventually eye-balled it in its hiding spot. Signed the dry logbook and returned as found. Thanks for the cache.
TFTF. Nicely hidden. Couldn't fit one of my swag items in the bottle so it was only something small this time round.

Out for some year end caching. We were on a mission on completing 499 caches tonight. Took a while, but eventually found. Cache is all good. TFTC

Started with Her, knew what to look for , but nothing jumping out. Spent way to long looking, drawing the attention of passing cars. Then the light rain began, time to return to car and declare a DNF.
Parked by "Hers" and was going to look there first, but a truck parked up behind me spoiling my stealth-illusion.
So I headed over to "His" first. it took me much longer than it should have to find, but got there in the end. A good hide

Was out this way to pop into one of my work locations today, so after I was done I decided to spend an hour or so doing a couple of local park & grabs. Had just done "hers", so "his" was next on the agenda. Got to GZ, and originally started searching a few feet further away (terrible navigating!), then spotted the geotrail and followed it, which led me right to the cache. Appreciated the artwork and sentiment left by what I assume was a junior cacher- nice.
A lovely spot with the cool pou- TFTC kiwicouple

On my way to the 15 Years and Still Puzzled meet, I thought I would pick up a coupla hides. TFTC
Cords pointed to the only possible place, so I followed the geo-trail right to the cache. TFTC.
Over this way for tonights Auckland event so thought I'd grab a few caches en route, would be rude not to really. Had boxing circuits and P T training this afternoon so arms and legs are sore which prevents any plans for long walks or strenuous activity, Park and grab only it is then!
Got the pair now, his and hers are in the bag. Rescued a trackable from out of here too, just a copy tag but can keep me company for a few days or so

Awesome found it ! And have left one of my gifts to travel ! Awesome find. COURTNEYWalker333
I was in the area to sign off on a puzzle cache so popped down to pick this up as well. A very busy road on a Sunday morning but I managed to sneak in between walking muggles and passing cars. TFTC Now off to find hers....
Found, dropped cache and log was a bit of a mission to retrieve thanks to the wind
Her also did the find on His - but Mr P was parking the car and it was easier for me to find, sign and replace. T4tc
