Logs
I had searched for this one a few years ago. Successsful this time but a bit of a struggle to get the log out of the container. Finally untwisted the wire binding on my notebook and managed to hook it out. TFTC
Freed up the container and resited should be good for a while. Blenheim Bear
Tftf, second look but unfortunately it has been jammed in tight & we were unable to get it out so took a pic
Found, tried to remove but couldn't , it appears that it has replaced upside-down & lid is jamed Taken photo
Found it on the 1st June 24Found it reasonably easily hard to get out. On had a paperclip.
Found cache with teenage son after many years ago a no find. Couldn't get cache out of its hidy hole though as didn't have tweezers or tools
A good hide, we found it. But had no tools to pull the log out. Might need to add tweezers to the caching kit
The teeny tiniest find for us so far. Fun find! One of these things is not like the others
Was about to give up, starting to rain, had tied my shoe laces 10 times, when I finally found it. Log very damp and starting to smell! Had to get it out with a pair of wezzers. TFTC.
On this rainy day, there was no muggler around and we had plenty of time. Log is wet though
Infoferret was keen to avenge this 3rd-visit DNF while in the area, and had picked up some intel. 2nd try for me. She found it after 3 of us had quite the hunt. Cheers Blenheim Bear
19 August 2023 15:05. TFTC Blenheim Bear for placing this cache, number 12889 for me. Third visit for me, second for BFG, took a while but I spotted it in the end. Really glad to get that off my nemesis cache list.
TFTC! Definitely had to pop a squat and the umbrella dripped rain all down my back
M25: Day 2 of caching in New Plymouth.
Starting off with this cache, nice and easy find, although had to wait for a few muggles to pass by. log all good and signed here. TFTC.

Yet again I came , I looked, I prodded, I looked again... and still came away empty handed.
With the offer of a free lunch if I found this, I had a thorough look… but failed
Early evening so lots of eyes on the wall but very few on me. A systematic approach yielded results relatively quickly. TFTC.
School holidays so time for a tiki tour to visit friends in Taranaki. Stayed in New Plymouth today and enjoyed a stroll around Pukekura park. Lots of I’s, 6 to be precise but no cache spotted. Will watch.
After a work shared lunch had my boss help look and she found it, was her first cache
Couldn't find a little to hard and would take a long time to find it. But if you think you are good at finding things you should definitely give it a go
After meeting the CO at an event earlier we have to come to give this one a go. It all made sense when we arrived at GZ. The search was on in the dark with torches. I think we finally spottted it within about 10 minutes. A good hunt deserves a favourite point.
Malinkaly and I planned a road trip to go to the MEGA but Covid has postponed the event again. We decided to continue on with our planned journey making adjustments as we go with the ever-changing travel restrictions.
Greetings from Dunedin!
Thanks for the cache, Blenheim Bear

Got told about this one at a meeting we had with local cachers. So off we went and when reaching the destination brought the search lights to assist. Loved this area! Such a fun idea! Very much appreciate you telling us about it and naturally placing the cache here, Blenheim Bear. We took a while to locate it, but we lay eyes upon it at last.
*** Out on our MEGA Roadtrip with Wilbywarrior. Who says this can only happen when the MEGA is actually held?! Greetings from Dunedin, caching friends

Didn’t take too long to locate once my GPS settled. What an interesting wall! TFTC
ANZAC weekend in Taranaki. Focused on Adventure Labs and also whatever will be handy. This hide was one of them.
It's time to leave New Plymouth.
Great hide!
Picked up early in the morning.

Found this cache. Got a few odd stares from people walking past. Was ready to give up when i got a lovely hint from a local who said she had to find it in order to stop people going on her property trying to find it. very friendly about it.
Had a squiz found a twig, had another gawk then found the cache. Thanks with DeltaTea
Good eyes, and it can be found. Whether you have classes or not it can be found, quite fun to look for
We decided not to spend too long searching for this cache, at this unusual and interesting wall, but as it happened we didn't need to. With the hint, we laid our fingers on it reasonably soon, although we needed an implement to extract it. The cache we found was a bison. TFTC
As I started searching, two women walked out of the building asking me whether I got it yet. Not geocachers, but have previously found it and were keeping an I on it lol! TFTC!!
Thanks Blenheim Bear for the cache. It’s #1162 for us. We found your cache on 31 December 2019. Nice hide - hint was very useful.
No idea. By the cache title i was going on a single eye somewhere, but no find for Taybeedragon and myself.
Day eleven of Taybeedragon's and my big 3 week circumnavicaching trip around Mt Taranaki, starting from Palmerston North. Today is wandering about New Plymouth
Highlights:
* 3 weeks, 536 caches
* Mt Taranaki had been removed for washing, which was a bit of a shame. Even after it had been returned we were only allowed to see it for it was less than half an hour a day.
* High percentage of caches with crappy coordinates
* Amazing Pukekura Park
* AMAZING Pukekura Park light show!
* Pukeiti Gardens
* Lots of cache maintenance!

Planning for the [NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20 years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20 years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* And it's 2020 - all the 20s!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](https://coord.info/GC87777) - you won't want to miss it!
