The puzzle was pretty easy, thanks to the hint, and I shortly had the coords. I put this cache in a pile for another day, as I had a plan.Today, Shazzar66 had planned to have a day off, so I took a day off too (the perks of being my own boss) and we set about ticking off my list so that we could qualify for a Challenge. It was starting to get pretty hot, so I parked on side of Rd close as possible, and Shaz went for the find, which she did quickly and easily. Thanks, Seizer, for the cache and the fun puzzle
I headed out in the geo-car with Nelly for a few caches today.Decided to hit a few around Samsonvale.I found your cache, Geography Lesson today. This is my 2379 find.Quick find using hint.Seizer, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
After the Ironbark CITO, Willis007 and I headed to Dayboro. Willis007 had a few target caches whereas they were all target caches for me as I’d never found any in this area, so I was very happy to come along. I signed 28 so a good haul.

Heading to Dayboro today to do some maintenance on a cache, I decided to avenge a previous DNF here and see if I could make the find.
I headed to gz and was very happy to have the cache in hand shortly after.
Thanks Seizer for the puzzle and for keeping the cache going.

Lying in bed this morning I wasn’t sure what the day would bring. I contemplated going to a festival, having lunch out or going for a walk. I just couldn’t make my mind up. It actually became very stressful to make a decision so in the end I decided to do the thing that makes me happiest. So I got in the car and headed out to find secure a few caches in an area where I had quiet a few solved caches begging to be signed
So now that I had a plan for the day, i headed out in the Dayboro direction. Upon arrival I was as starving so when in Rome do as the Roman’s do so I headed straight for the bakery. Fuel on board I headed out to start the day.
I soon came upon ground zero, secured the find and made my mark. Very happy to turn this cache into a smilie and head on to the next find.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found by fellow caches. Apologise for the generic cache.
Cheers

Out for a play day with Peppa and TMZ59 again and back to Dayboro to find more geoart caches we missed while attending Mega.
This time Pacman and a few other randoms on the way.
Had this one solved à while ago so just a matter of finding it. Almost a park and grab for us. Log signed cache returned.
Was a fun puzzle.

In Dayboro to get some more caches. Out with my favourite Geo friends getting some more caches. What a lot of fun today has been. TFTC
We are on a 2 month trip from Portland via the Mundi Mundi Bash to a wedding in Brisbane and then out west for QOGM in Charleville.
Day 2 of our stay in Dayboro to find all those puzzles we solved in anticipation of the mega. Sadly we were then going to WA and we knew the borders would be closed to us if we came to Qld.
Today we rode the bikes into town and did the AdLab and some of the touristy stuff including the art gallery and tourist info. Back to the van for lunch and then we headed out to start the Horse Series - much easier going than yesterday with nice safe parking for all of them. Some of them took a bit of time to find so we didn't get as many done as we intended and then we took a small detour into the ditch and had to winch ourselves out - might be time to go and have a cuppa.
Thanks for contributing to the fun Seizer

We couldn't make it to this year's mega in Townsville so came back to the town of the 2021 one instead. I had solved this one recently while in isolation and decided the wife and daughter could do the honours here. A brief walk around gz before finding the cache. Log signed and cache returned as found. We are in the area for a few days finding the caches for some solved puzzles and this is one we found this morning. It was an enjoyable puzzle and Google helped to get the coords. Parked down from GZ and walked up to where the cache was located. All good with this one. Thanks Seizer for the puzzle and the cache.
Geography was one of my favorite subjects in high school so I couldn’t leave Dayboro today without stopping here. Cache found in good condition. TFTC Seizer
Today was the day to finish off the missed caches, especially the horse geoart, due to being rained out at the Mega and returning home early. So the three of us arrived at Dayboro early and met up with Nayfee who joined us on the trip. Hopefully he will again one day after 6 hours in the car with the little Turmoils!

TFTC. We had spent the previous months in Victoria on lockdown. During this time we busily solved puzzles in preparing for the Dayboro Mega. After a frustrating morning stuck inside the motorhome the rain eased to a drizzle and the severe weather warnings were cancelled. Our good friends muff1 asked if we wanted to come out to cache. needless to say we jumped at the opportunity. A great afternoon finding caches and not getting to damp.
This was a puzzle that I only had a look at in the morning prior to leaving home, and thankfully, a puzzle that I was able to solve today too. A rather logical puzzle that made its solve not too difficult.
Today with Day 2 of the Dayboro Mega event, I returned back to Dayboro to attempt a solo yet full day of finding the various solved *Horse* and *We* ?? *Geo* geoart, as well as any other interesting cache types. The weather was rather damp with a continuous pour of rain and showers, and although the light rain was tolerable, there were a few periods of heavy downfalls that were rather miserable. I ran into many other Geocachers during the day, and once my last remaining natural light was lost, I headed back home, grabbing a fast food dinner on the way.
During my travels around the vicinity, I made a stop here, and the cache was a reasonably quick find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Seizer for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

We enjoyed this puzzle. Had to ask co for help and it guided us to the answer. Thank you for the puzzle and hide
After a DNF a few weeks back it was good to see that the cache had been replaced. Parked nearby and wandered over for a quick find n the light rain. Enjoyed the puzzle too. Tftc
I must have had this one solved for quite a while.
Sloshing around the Mega HQ, I decided it would be inappropriate to leave this one unvisited so wandered over, setting off a couple of neighbouring dogs while one owner banged a pan at it, to no effect whatsoever. I’d say those dogs are finding all the Mega visitors the most exciting thing that’s happened here in years.
Anyway, I loved the GZ. One of those places which just looks so distinctive that you hope there’ll be a cache there, and there is.
TFTC where all is fine. My umbrella was handy here today.

The Trivia night at the Mega event involved a bit of a geography lesson. Not sure it helped with the solving of this puzzle but it got me thinking!
Found this cache as part of our Easter long-weekend road trip to the Dayboro mega event. A great adventure and plenty of finds, teamed up with Wilbert, Mizmaz and steeba for this roadtrip.
Many of our logs are signed with "Gong gang" to represent all four of us who were present. Apologise for the boiler style log.
Thanks for the cache.

Offered a spare seat on a roadtrip with The Rats and Wilbert67 to the Dayboro Mega, jumped at the chance to accept, and together with Steeba (who flew up), we joined forces to become “the Gong Gang” over the Easter weekend. Aside from the rain and threats of last minute border restrictions, it turned into 2500km of fun, finds and adventures. Thanks to the Gang for the invite, company and shared solves/searches and all the COs for the smiley opportunities. Apologies for the generic log (unless further comments required) but we got through a LOT!! ??
We were in Dayboro for the mega and weren't going to let a little rain get in the way of finding some caches.
We had solved this puzzle quite a while ago and were looking forward to searching for this one.
Some were found quickly and others gave us a bit of trouble but happily we didn't have any dnf's
The weather did try us but we persevered and were even joined by other teams at a couple
Thanks Seizer for the this puzzle and for the cache..

This one was found in the first place we looked. Pleased about that as the raining is rather persistent. Thanks for the cache.
We had the right idea for this one but as some places were ambiguous, it took a little while to nut this one out. Thanks for placing this cache.
Today I was out and about as part of the Dayboro Mega day caching run with Gunnie69 and NurseyJulie, who both got some milestone achievement at the mega. As well NurseyJulie was chasing most cache types in a day! The forecast was for some rain, but in the most part it kept away. The plan was to hunt down some nearby caches and attend the Mega, the trivia night and attack the lab series!
Thanks Seizer for the cache, the hunt and the smiley today! [D]

After attending the opening ceremony for the Mega event, we headed out to find a few caches while the weather was still good.
The finds were mostly along backroads, it's always good caching in the country.
One of the last caches we found before the rain started, Glad to see that this had recently been replaced.
Thankyou Seizer for placing this cache.

I noticed that a couple of cachers had found this cache after my DNF without saying that it had been replaced. So I thought that we must have missed it when we searched on 26 March and couldn't believe that we could have done so.
So this morning I headed out as soon as I could to check out what was going on and found the cache straight away and noticed that the CO had replaced it, but not mentioned it on the cache page

Out and about on foot from the nearby Mega event, Ghostgums, NurseyJulie and I circumnavigated the area picking up the nearby icons. Having headed over from the two trads on the south, GZ became obvious on approach and GG soon unveiled the container. Trying to use a look with minimal touching search method it took me a while to spot a glint of colour and then had to dig a bit to recover the cache. It appears that the hide location has been damaged a bit and the cache is possibly hidden a bit harder than it was previously.

Heading home from Brisbane via Dayboro today so stopped to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them. The inland road is much nicer than up the main highway, especially when the traffic is lite.
I parked nearby and headed over to GZ for a quick find which gets rid of the DNF I had last visit.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Out in Dayboro doing some Cache QLD business for the event next April and picked this up as it’s one of my last to find in the region. Beautiful sunny day which makes for a great day with friends.
Checked this out yesterday after a few DNFs
The cache is still there but things have been changed, and not all by us
When we placed it , with the original hint, it was a very small canister hanging in the tree. After a comment about that no longer being true we checked it out to find that it had been replaced by a slightly larger and brighter canister and no longer in the tree.
Also the area has been newly mulched resulting in the new cache being more deeply hidden
It has now been brought closer to the surface and is definilety finbdable, so good luck to all seekers

No luck today. GeoNayfee who had previous found this cache said the area had changed since he found it, with a lot of clearing and fresh mulch at gz. Perhaps it was removed by the Council.
Spent some time here. There was a suggestion in one of the logs that something coukd have changed. Not often in this area but looking fwd to next year's Event.
Did not work this puzzle out. There is 2 photos of previous finders enabled me to work out where it was. I went there last year when it was missing had me thinking maybe I was wrong, so had another look today. Tftc
Out and about in the delightful Dayboro so we stopped to grab this one. Hint no longer applies! TFTC
Had this in my solved list for a few years, and though it was finally time to collect it! Quite a busy town today, but nice a quite at the GZ. Either you are shorter than I'd believe, or the original hint does not apply! TFTC.
I was on the phone with Chamad last night and we were trying to decide where we were going today. We tossed up a few ideas, but we couldn’t really finalise a location, so I’m the end we settled on Dayboro as we both had to grab a few caches in the area to knock off a few more degrees on our 360° from home, plus the new AL series.
We arrived at Dayboro around 8:30am and did a bunch of multis, mysteries, trads and the new AL series in town. After completing everything there, we decided to make our way towards Mt Mee and grabbed any caches we didn’t get last time we were here.
Had a great day out exploring the area. It’s such a beautiful area to visit.

Out today to continue my one a day challenge and my trad a day challenge. Today I had GeoNayfee with me and we descended on the Dayboro area to tidy up some loose ends, grab a few new ones and complete the lab series. We were here at the begging of the month but time and a few DNF’s sort of spoiled our day, today we were going to change that.
This was the fifth/ sixth/ seventh and eighth cache today, we were trying to save time and complete it with another multi, a puzzle cache and the lab series. It got confusing as we were asking each other questions that didn’t relate to each other’s cache lol. Overall we completed them and worked on a method that saw us complete all 4 and a trad in the process lol. Having solved this one some time ago not sure how now, lol today was time to collect. A nice little hide, cache was in good condition and all dry.
With our names in the log we were off to the next, thank you for placing this one here.

Out for a day of fresh country air away from suburbia ... and maybe a few caches.
We solved the puzzle so far back we can't remember when, we do however remember how.
At GZ it proved to be a quick find & we took time out here for a bite to eat & some 'time out' from the Geo-Beast for Winter the Geo-Cat who enjoyed a wander before we set off for the next target.
All good here.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

After a few weeks in lockdown and no Geocaching possible, we came out for a drive today to the Dayboro area. We collected a few of the I love Geocaching series, and then after lunch in Dayboro came for a short drive to collect this one. We had solved this some time ago from our armchairs at home, and it was lovely to come and make the find. A little digging under some recently replaced Tanbark soon had the container in our hands. Out around Dayboro for Wacky Wednesday with NyssaFlutterby today. Although Nyssa had done this one, I hadn't, but had solved it a couple of holidays ago, so she was happy for me to make a quick detour to mark this one off my map too.
Parking the car I left Nyssa in the aircon while I dashed up to GZ to begin my search. But after coming up empty, she got out to join me. And with both of us searching, we were still coming up empty. Just as we thought we might not find it, I looked over and there it was, staring me right in the face. The little tether was no longer attached to anything, so after I had signed the log, Nyssa reattached it in the area she had found it so long ago.
Thanks for the cache Seizer.

Just as we thought we might not find it, I looked over and there it was, staring me right in the face. The little tether was no longer attached to anything, so after I had signed the log, Nyssa reattached it in the area she had found it so long ago.
Thanks for the cache Seizer.
Tricky little sucker we nearlymissed this one.In Brisbane visiting Family and taking advantage of all the great local caches. We had a fantastic day in this area. 3237 so far for us. Thanks for placing this cache Seizer, without cachers like you we wouldn't have a hobby. Signed log. took nothing, left nothing. Please take a bow. we did many caches today and most if not all were in good condition and actually there. Please forgive the cut and paste logs but when w get home it's family time and we can't log in the field. My lazyness in no way reflects on your dedication as a cacher or the quality of your caches
Quite the ‘geography’ lesson solving this and a wonderful location to show us the geography of this beautiful countryside.
Thanks for the cache placement and puzzle Seizer! Cheers! We signed the log JAD to save space (which is for JooJoo57, Aussie Liahona and DiamonJS).

Having a few days around Dayboro collecting the geoart, other puzzles and some traditional caches as well. Seeing lots of wonderful countryside and meeting some locals as we venture around the rural roads. Thanks to all the COs who have placed caches in the Dayboro area and for sharing this beautiful place with us. Team JAD was signed on the logs for: joojoo57, Aussie Liahona and DiamonJs.
Out for the day with Aussie Liahona and joojoo57, I really enjoyed working this cache out. It was a nice easy find at GZ. TFTC - we signed as Team JAD.
Headed out to Dayboro today with miss11 to try and get ourselves to Pluto and to turn some solved puzzles into smiley faces. Looking back at my notes not sure how I solved this but the coords led me to a cache which miss 11 spotted for me, lucky I bought her along .
Out and about with Flight Engineer Imbunda as we continued to explore the outer reaches of the Solar System for the Planetary Pursuits series. Today we were headed for Pluto via the Dino Planet
Out and about with Chasingadventures to explore the outer reaches of the Solar System for the Planetary Pursuits series via the Dino Planet.
Our second mission was to achieve the unique difficulty/terrain rating in one day.
Chasingadventures had previously done the groundwork to obtain a correct set of co-ordinates for our landing.
A quick and easy park for our Spaceship and a short walk to GZ. It took my pilot less than a minute to have the cache in hand and our signatures were being added. Ooh so tiny and glad we didn't drop it.
Time is speeding so back in the Spaceship and off into Orbit. TFTC

Tricky! The hide more than the puzzle. Once at the obvious GZ, it took us quite a while and Zach's eagle eyes to spot the wee hide. Found with Zacgyver and FastEd 59 as part of our Planetary Pursuit day. TFTC, Seizer. =^.^=
I figured out how to solve this puzzle and used google to get the coordinates. Today I came out to Dayboro with La Kedi and FastEd 59 to knock off as many puzzle caches as possible and qualify for all the planetary pursuit souvenirs. We looked in the obvious spot, but of course it wasn't there. Then I spied it. Very cool. TFTC
Spending the day with La Kedi and Zacyver hitting up as many as possible today.
This was an extra added to the list. Made our way to GZ and spotted a SPOS. Start the search. Nope not there.
Well that was just sneaky .

Enjoyed solving this puzzle. On approaching GZ it appeared obvious as to where the cache was located but fortunately I was caching with Dick (dickbev) today so whilst he was scrabbling around in what we though was the logical place I managed to spot the clever hide. TFTC Seizer.
Out for the day doing the pacman series with Roger of rbutto and as this puzzle had been solved previously, we decided to go for it. Parked up and walked to the only likely spot a cache could be - looked in the obvious place and found nothing and then Roger spotted the little blighter in its lair. TFTC Seizer
Had thispuzzle solved for quite awhile and came to look once before but was "directed away by a very protective family of plovers.
Birds nowhere to be seen today so was able to sign log.

Bear 0503 and i solved this puzzle on our lunch break at work a few weeks ago and today was the long awaited day we planned to pick up puzzles we had solved. we had done a similar puzzle to this one so had coordinates in no time. At gz seemed like one obvious spot to hide and Bear0503 spotted the cache. Loved this puzzle and interesting spot. thankyou for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
No guardians today when we visited to replace the full log book. Now room for many more visitors
Pulled up find this one only to discover a family of very protective Spur-winged Plovers nesting near GZ.
We will leave this one for another day.

**# 17480** Found on the Qld leg of our 2017 winter escape trip.
Another perfect warm winter day to find a few more around Dayboro.
Not many muggles around and a good quick find here, although it is well hidden.
Thanks for the cache Seizer,

Had solved this puzzle a long time ago and today was the day to eventually collect it. Easy walk to GZ and it took some looking before we eventually spotted the very well hidden cache.
TFTC Seizer and the lesson.
