Great find with a couple of cheerleaders. Lots of muggles and four legged creatures. Great fun for a queens bday
Hi there - funny to find a blenheim bear cache in Taranaki - we found a couple of yours in Blenheim a while back! I am guessing the bear may have relocated? We sat in the shelter and ate our lunch as it rained gently outside. Shame the spot has signs saying No swimming as the river looked really pleasant. New Plymouth has a lot of pretty scenery I have to say. It was wet though so we ducked out and back in again! tftc
Some locals were having a BBQ so we left the search for this cache for another time, just wanted to say we came here.
#6388. Quick park and grab in Merrilands Domain this morning. People were about but far enough away. GZ itself was all quiet. Quick find. The cache was in excellent condition. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. Thanks for the cache.
Awesome wee Hide. loved the location. I have lived in New Plymouth for 13 years and I never knew about this place. Safe to say this will be our new picnic area. Thank you

Spent half an hour, had four people looking. Couldn't find anything, starting to think it's been removed. Would be great if somebody could check if it's still there.
Had hoped for this to be the last cache of the day, but it was muggle central here this afternoon, so had to leave it.
Quickly found and we took a seat in the sun to sign the log! Lovely out here today. TFTC

A nice place for a bit of a walk. It's a pity the waterworks cache isn't here anymore.
Picked up my caching friend Davycrockpot from the airport, and headed off to grab a few caches before heading home. Had a short walk to grab this one as nearby gate shut...found in the first place I looked. TFTC
Found with Geco72, the 9th find in another of our infamous caching weekends. Geco72 found this while I was faffing about with a nearby bush. TFTC.

There were a couple of muggles enjoying the sunshine at Merrilands, it was just a bit too cold to have a Picnic today. Thanks for showing us this beautiful scenic spot by the Riverside, TFTC.

After getting rained out on a summit attempt on Taranaki, I decided to explore a few neighboring caches. Thanks for bringing me here. Nice riverside park. Water levels up from the recent rains. Cheers for the cache.
I was down at 'o' Canada so had a relaxing walk to calm down from the trial of over coming the hide and this one was easier TFTC

Headed south with Zorgon for a bit of a trip through some backroads to find caches some distance from the next closest cache for a stage of the GCLS Challenge.

Some good looking trout pools in area but had no luck ,may be too disturbed by dogs swimming after balls, while exercising.Looking forward to being back in cache area soon SL TFTC

This was found after attending the Maker Madness event. We had a brief moment of concern after doing the cache up the hill and finding our pack missing on our return, but figured it had probably been picked up for safekeeping by someone. This assumption turned out to be correct, and after retrieving the gear and saying our goodbyes we headed here for a quick grab.
