Searched around the location we worked out for GZ for quite some time but came up empty handed. Will check with cache owners since it has been almost a year since the last logs.
Sorry about you Granddad. Thanks for sharing your family and its history, had a gr8 walk around Windsor this morn B4 work (also used local knowledge) and came back here this arvo. gonna go MTBing thru here :never actually dropped in here till 2day

Used some local knowledge to cheat a little on this one so we only had to go to two of the WPs before heading to GZ. Thanks for the wander around town.
Found this one with missleah, while we were in the area doing some cache maintenance on "Choose your own adventure". Enjoyed the cache Ecoteam thanks!
Had lunch in the hotel in the middle of the mall, then an ice cream from the lolly shop in the arcade nearby (yum!).
WPTs 1, 2 and 3 were nice and easy, with some help from Mousie and Chewi. I checked and rechecked our result as to where GZ was, although I was convinced we were wrong somehow. Anyway, we headed off in search of the quickest access route. The first route we tried was a dead end miles from GZ. The second took us closer, but locked gates (a common disappointment for 4WDers such as myself) halted progress. Made one more attempt and upon trying a well-hidden track well spotted by Mousie, we also drove to within about 350m of GZ.
Still convinced I was wrong, I tried a few rough tracks but seemed to go nowhere, so I bush bashed (my legs are a mess). Once I was within cooee of GZ, I used the clue and found it really easily...only got minimal black on me.
Finding my way out was not easy, but fortunately, there was a neartby party with a jumping castle playing 'Greensleeves', so I followed the sound. Bush bashed even more. I really wished there had been a public toilet nearby too...
Finally, I noticed a few signs up from NPWS saying the area was closed. Something to be aware of.
TNLN - thanks for an interesting afternoon.

Thanks EcoTeam for the perfect excuse to get out and see more of fabulous Windsor!
Nice quick cache once the final location and best access was known - was able to squeeze it in before netball at Hawkesbury Indoor.
Interesting walk - saw some lovely retro rubbish on the way.....[xx(]

Did this one late this afternoon. What a great multicache to finish the day off on.
Lots of history and a great final spot, we managed to get the car only 350mtrs from the cache.
Thanks Dave and Nic.

Nothing to hard here and I did it in between the Green Hills & Beyond cache as well.Although I did get the feeling at the final wp that I was in the wrong place, but I was in the right place; which means I was wrong the first time, but right in the end. (I'm confused now)
Grabbed this one on the way to a BBQ in Bligh Park.
Only needed to visit one WP on the way to work out the final clue.
A pleasant (though hot) walk through the bush found the cache fit and well and longing for more visitors.

Had a good old walk arond some very historic sites. The final waypoint was a long way. I think we entered from the wrong end and as it was wet followed the marked tracks. Took Fridge magnet left ocky strap
Third for the day and a very special case for ZijerJell (being very closely related to EcoNic). Tried to have lunch at one of the waypoints but were foiled by a wedding party - doh! Never mind - got the clues and found lunch in town. Walked around the markets (is there less there than there used to be??) and picked up another couple clues on the way. It was a nice day's outing, although, the only trouble we had was ZijerPhil's failure to accurately plot the access path to GZ and we ended up walking waaaay further than was required. I think he has been relieved of navigation duties for future outings.
Had no trouble finding cache. Well done tree huggers [^]

been meaning to do this one for a while. did it in the late afternoon and by the time we started heading back all the bugs came out - namely green leech-looking things, on all the branches of all the bushes.
left nothing, took nothing.

Having completed all the waypoints on a previous visit to the area, I tried to go for the main cache today but abandoned my hunt due to vast quantities of vampire caterpillars who were hanging by threads from the trees... The place seemed to be infested with them at the moment, so I'll wait and come back another time...
Thanks for the update Ray.
Replaced the container with a different type, should last the distance now. Contents were all nice and dry so just transfered them.
Took the relays to free up some room, thanks Ribbit.
Those long clear screw top containers certainly turn brittle with sunlight.
We were disappointed to see a track bashed to the GZ, even when there are many ways to approach it. It's amazing the impact a few geocachers can make.

The waypoints fell like dominos. A nice history lesson. It was funny but when I was at WP1 a friendly guy there gave me most of the answers with me having to actually go to the waypoints. Can you beat that?
The cache was found.
BUT obviously these containers are not UV stabilized and the exposure to the sun has caused the lid to start falling apart. EcoTeam, you need to get out there and replace the container before it starts raining...

This came up on the radar not far from where I grabbed Traffic Control 3. With no cache printout, let alone the crossword, I didn't realise I had no chance at this one. Pecked around for a bit, but called it quits when a car drove up nearby and my mobile phone ruse started to wear thin.
This Cache may be toast as the fires on Tuesday were nearby. I will do a quick reconne and advise the owners accordingly
After spending the weekend water skiing we topped off the weekend with this fun cache. The waypoints were all very interesting, including the big O which just happens to be where my sister was married. So it was a trip down memory lane... The markets were also alot of fun.
The final stash had us doing a bit of cross country bush bashing, but alas we found it. All is in good order...... Nice one guys.

Spent an enjoyable day at Windsor on this cache. The clues were well thought out, the cemetary one had us going for ages but shouldn't have. Finally made my way to the cache itself, leaving Mrs Loon and the sleeping Loonette in the car. Found the cache after a pleasant walk. Wish I was a few inches taller though. Swapped a knitted kitten for a springy thingy. Good one EcoTeam.
Very well thought out multi cache and an interesting tour of the area. Came across some other people in a couple of the location’s who where looking for something as well. Had a different printout to the Geocaching one and did not have a GPS that we could see. Had no trouble walking to the cache just followed the track. The cache is visibly from one direction and we did not know if this was correct and it looks like some cachers enjoy redskins going by the wrappers.
Excellent one Eco Team

What a hoot! Found this in between showers on a grey day. I thought I had figured out all the clues without visitng them but ended up having to go find a couple of them. Well done Ecoteam!

This was one of those days made in heaven. Well it felt that way with the sunshine and the ghosts. The 2 dogs had a great time finding this cache and it even included a 4X4 river crossing albeit short.
One of the locals was a little concerned for SNIFTER( who was guarding the cachemobile)) and wanted to know if she was OK or had broken down. When I explained what I was there for she quickly told me OH its gone. A greyhaired gentleman with a stationwagon was here the other day and got it.I then did the whole explanation and who knows there could be a new cacher around.
Our sympathy on the passing of your beloved Poppy. You certainly have an historic line.

Comes as a surprise to track this one down, as Riblit says! Thought the track to the cache looked fresh today. (Wow, are they huge relays for Dave)... Location averaging...take the photo.... Found without getting too black and traded the watch for a puzzle and a 6 bead thingo. Good one, ecoteam.

This was a two day affair. We visited the clue sites and had a general look around yesterday. The horse drawn travelling restaurant we saw while looking for Lawrence is an interesting concept. The graveyard looks well cared for. We had a look for the final cache yesterday afternoon but stopped short as one of the party did not have the best attire for the foliage. I returned this afternoon and looked for another entry. The one I found was a bit of a surprise but it was an easy walk to the cache.
Liberated the Hair clips (for one who came yesterday) and left a couple of relays (EcoDave may have a use for them).
A very nice thought Nic.

The entry point to a cache is always obvious when you are placing it - funny thing that!
I very nice tribute to the memory of your grandfather. Managed to find all the clues fairly easily although finding a starting point for the final cache is a bit confusing. Took some caramels and left a watch.
Was an enjoyable trek through an area I was going to place a cache in.
oh well will have to scout out another spot.
I had half of the clues sorted out by local knowledge before even commencing this one.
A fine cache Nic.

We were able to answer most of the questions on the way to this one, as Shaz grew up in the area. Took a couple of attempts to find the right entry point for the final cache, and we even took a drive through the posh area of town[^]
Found the virgin stash in fading light. Liberated the EcoTeam bag, and left Jersey Caramels (left over from Sugar Hit).
Condolences on your loss Nic. We're sure Poppy will be sorely missed.
The buildings of Windsor are a credit to your GGG-father
Gratitude to EcoTeam
