Just remembered about the cache before we left. Loved the hiding place, thank you x
Staying a couple of days at Totaranui, enjoying a nice walk along the beach this morning, a cool hide here, cheers
Clever hide, tricky to access log though...but managed . Enjoyed the find, off for lunch at the camp. Thanks
Last of the day.I am not familiar with the cache heads so I guess it is archived. But we got here and tried a few of my sneaky hide ideas, with no joy. Got to the stage where I had to TAF, and moments later RG72 had made the find. Come on, I should have looked over there. I am guilty of a few hides like this as well TFTC stick manToday we decided to explore out to Totaranui.I have not been there before, so we packed up our day packs for a bit of light walking and headed there, as the weather was great. On the way out, we revisited Wainui Falls. We werent here that long ago, but by my reckoning three of the four caches we did find back then have been archived but resurrected under a different form, so its time for another visit.Following that, its off to Totaranui, getting all the caches on the drive in.To finish the day we grabbed a couple of caches in Takaka after visiting the supermarket. Thanks all COs.
Located with Ricardinho RG1972 saved the day on this one. RNZ was just about to call it quits when I spotted something that didn't really seem right. Suddenly I realised what the tail was...bingo! Cache located & RNZ a happy camper/cacher Day two of our Goldenbay Getaway & we are off to Wainui Falls & Totaranui. I found out recently RNZ had never been to Totaranui & i wanted to rectify this travesty. Stunning day & the locations did not disappoint, RNZ is keen for a camping trip in Totaranui sometime which sounds fabulous to me! On the drive in to Totaranui we passed a nutter running down the hill, as we passed said runner I realised it was my friend Amy Next cache stop & I got to say hi as she ran past A magic day in a stunning part of Aotearoa TFTC
TFTC;)Really nice views while waiting on the water taxi after tramping the great walk !

Went for tails first as enjoying a swim at that end of the beach. Took a bit of finding but son squirreled it out. Thanks for a great cache!
Our NEW ZEALAND - TASMANIA - AUSTRALIA JOURNEY takes us to beautiful places and provides us with an incredible number of wonderful moments and experiences.Occasionally we also visit a few GeoCaches along the way.We were able to find this cache quickly. We are happy to add a blue "loop".Thank you for placing, maintaining and caring snapfish2 from SwitzerlandPS: Translated with the Deepl app
Found with mumandme. Nice to come visit this end. We found heads a few years back. TFTC
We found heads earlier and before leaving the campsite we drove to this end to get tails. Nice easy find after getting heads already! Thanks for hiding!
Out for a loop walk in the rain, caching as we go. Luckily the tide was low. Quick find. TFTC
We are here to complete the Abel Tasman Walk. We were dropped by boat at Totaranui did the loop track and this was the first cache of the walk.
Quick easy find and now to cross the inlet

Day 1 of our 3 day walk to explore this area.
Nice quick find by Mr NZT and we were on our way.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
These ones don't fool me anymore, but I do remember the first one of this type that took me probably 5 long visits until I finally was able to claim the find.
Quick find here for me as there weren't many other options.
I do like these hides!

Camping at totoranui for a week so thought I’d try and find the caches in the immediate vicinity. Great day in paradise. Great hide TFTC
Out for a drive today and decided on some random caches today. Stopped close by and enjoyed the view and had a bite to eat. Nice quick find. Cheers
A quick easy find of the second of this nicely named and constructed pair of caches. A favourite from us. TFTC
While the others refreshed their weary feet in the waters of Totaranui, Dad tracked down 'Tails.' Thankfully he'd successfully found 'Heads' earlier, so strode straight up to this cache.

Found with NZDi while out caching in the rain during our extended Marlborough Anniversary weekend holiday. It is Marlborough Anniversary weekend and our whanau took advantage of a Covid-19 reduced rate at our favourite holiday home in Pohara. Due to the reduced tariff, NZDi decided to extend our stay after the others had gone back to work and school in order to do some caching in the area. Unfortunately, the long term weather forecast didn't extend out to six months, so we didn't realise then that the weather for our extended part of the stay was the worst we have ever experienced over here.
By lunch time cabin fever had got the better of us, so we put on our coats and ventured out any way. In the end we got twelve caches between here and Totaranui and an excursion to Paynes Ford.
This was our sixth find of the afternoon and I approached with trepidation after seeing the D rating. My fears were unfounded however as we made a QEF PnG.

Found while caching with Kiwimykl, refer to his log for details.
By the way, Kiwimykl has been on holiday too long, today he dated all his physical logs 02 Nov 2020, but it actually 03 Nov 2020.

Visiting from Nelson for a few days. Today's mission was a bike ride from Wanui Bay to Totaranui and back, with an 8km detour to Awaroa. And to find some caches along the way.
A great hide, and a quick find slightly delayed by stopping to watch a pod of dolphins playing in the bay.

When you find you're camped 50m from a cache it has to be the first thing to do. I took a circuit to see what I could spot and even had an alibi in the weka I was following. GPS took a while to settle but I saw something and thought 'I wonder..' yup, cache son in hand and walked back to the campervan to sign the log before going back to admire the view and quickly replace. Now to figure out what the tide is at to see if the next cache is accessible. Tftc, and a favourite for camo from me.
After a night in the tent (in a frost, at this time of year!?!?!?!) I had some spare time before the water taxi came to pick us up so wandered over to this one. Nice work again. Cheers
During our roadtrip through New Zealand I found this cache "Tails (Nelson\Marlbrough)" from StickmanNZ on 29 februari 2020 15:22.
Groetjes/Greetings and TFTC from a Dutchman (a long way from home, but home is here the heart is, on the bus).

Found Heads on our way north on the Abel Tasman trail, found Tails as we looped back for a pickup. Thanks!
Nice quick find after already finding Heads! Waiting for the boat back after our 3 day tramp. TFTC
Today we arrived in the Abel Tasman NP staying at Totaranui. We spent today enjoying the camp area and enjoying the beautiful scenery. This was a quick find with a few muggles nearby.
Thank you for the cache.
Thank you for the cache.
Mr Pazza made a surprisingly fast find under the pressure of knowing a local gin distillery was due to close in less than an hour. Nice hide.tftc
Found while camping here. Looked like an idiot trying to get cell reception on the beach to get the coordimates.
We were staying at Pohara with Nana and Grandad, we had a great day here. Thank you for the cache

Spending the day at Totaranui with three of our grandchildren. We have not been here for a few years and we were pleasantly surprised with how good the road was. Maybe we have just been on some really crappy ones as we travelled around the South Island over the past month and this one seemed particularly good.
Anyway this was our first find of the day, which I am pleased to say was almost an instant find. Signed the log and returned it without anyone around the area, which was a bit of a surprise considering how many people were camping here.
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

Easy, after succeeding heads, our 4 year old found it himself thanks for the cache, this campground is very nice. We were out of season, and there was very few campers here.
#175 we couldn't find a head so we decided to start with the tail and it was much easier. Funny hide was found fast.Tftc
I did this one first. Thanks to my experience I spotted the cache fairly fast. So it was only a matter of timing to grab it. Same to plce it back. Nobody noticed.

Its a long weekend so The Seagnoid, Zara and I are off for an adventure to Golden Bay. The Seagnoid is navigator and Zara and I pair up getting us from A to B??
OK we have been to Skinners Point so lets snag some on the way back.
We have snagged heads so this was an easy find. Very few campers here at such an awesome place and its huge. No muggles about yet but that makes caching easy. Cheers

Taybeedragon, Zara and I are on a three day geocaching extravaganza curtesy of Her Majesty the Queen. Happy birthday, Liz!
having found heads earlier today, Tails was an easy find. We dove out from Ligar Bay this morning, arriving here while it was still dark. Found all the caches between here and Skinners' and what few people are here are still in bed! Come on, guys, it's an awesome day! Get out and do stuff!

Our first geocache find in Abel Tasman national park! We are here with our Kiwi family, and went walking along the beach and decided to find a cache closest to our camp spot! What a beautiful spot, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect! A very clever hide, though we have come across this before! Otherwise, we might have been looking a LONG time! Thanks for the Cache!
A very clever hide. This was the first for our day out in Totaranui. We know you said do heads first but due to the tide we wanted to head this way first so we thought we'd have a go - success!! TFTC.
Found this one before finding heads. Took me longer than it should have but got there in the end. Very quiet morning at the beach helped! Tftc
Out for a sunday morning drive over the hill to a different world.
After finding heads we drove up to find tails.
A lot quicker find with already having Heads under our belt.
Lots of still frozen hail stones lying on the ground from last nights front.
It would have been cold camping here last night.

Quick find as we knew what we were looking for and this time we were able to sign the log. Gorse will be a problem soon.
After finding the partner cache and understanding the significance of the names it only took a few seconds to find this cache.
Thank you StickmanNZ.
After finding "Heads" we had an idea what to look for and weren't wrong. We spent a few minutes watching some activities on the water before resuming the hunt for more Tupperware. Thank you StickmanNZ
Having found "Heads" earlier in the day, we developed a theory about what we'd find here and sure enough that's what we found . Good one . Thanks !
This cache lived up to its name by being the last cache on our neat foray over to Totaranui today. A perfect day with the sun shining, gorgeous views, hardly any campers left and the company of Mrs SoBad and Sidewaze. TFTC #8520
This was lucky last for the SIS crew on our trip to Totaranui today. We had intended finding this before walking to the Hidden Cove, but having already found the Cove, we drove back to here from the other start to the Headland track and just before heading home. The likely spot was spotted from the car, Mrs Sobad popped out without GPS and the cache was an immediate find. Having found Heads certainly helped, as the CO suggests. Another fun hide to finish a neat day in the area - which was peaceful out of season.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Did this one first . Clever construction.
Visiting on trailer yacht Quinella which is in the estuary for the night.

Akirey and I visited in April and May New Zealand. First we decided to look around on the South Island including Steward Island then we went to the North Island.
All the time we enjoyed our trip. We saw a lot of sweet animals, amazing landscapes and met many nice people.
Also we searched for some caches. This one was one of them.
Thanks for hiding and greetings from Frankonia

On Geocaching road trip. Letting the geocaching lead us to some great spots. TFTC
Found it during our road trip to New Zealand. Thank you for showing us this great place.
Much easier to spot this one after doing Heads first. A few autumn campers about but not too busy. Beach and water looking very inviting but I had a walk nearby to do so no swim for me today. Always love visiting here.
Thanks StickmanNZ for the cache.

Thanks
Thanks
Rode our bikes down from our camp site down the other end for a very fast find as we had a good idea of exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of vehicles but no people right here.

Spent the weekend at Totaranui and bagged a few caches whilst there. I just love the ingenuity some people put into their caches. This has to be one of the best. Thanks StickmanNZ. Awesome. And not a bad spot either. tftc.
Thought we could get rid of the kids for a while during a bit of a wet morning. WRONG! this one was just 60 metres from camp in R Bay so we only had 2 mins peace and quiet ... Damn! Cool cache .. TFTC
